  1. ANY academy missions would be helpful. I was able to beat most of them my last save, but now im having a little difficulty. The AI designed is a little helpful but I'd like to hear your designs.
  2. Flooding is even more useless than it was before. FIX FLOODING! I've seen a destroyer that has taken 5 torpedo hits, display the flooding icon... and not actually reduce the flooding percentage AT ALL. Explain that PLEASE!
  3. They said something about saved designs but nothing about the unlocked missions I had. Do I just have to do all the missions over again?
  4. How would a 2d map detract from anything? Im genuinely curious. It would actually add something to the game. If it distracts, that's YOUR problem, just as saying 3D is our problem. It goes both ways.
  5. And the AI ships you DO get are absolute crap. Also, wtf is up with my ships never wanting to launch torps, and if they do, they miss everything they're aimed at. It's kind of ridiculous when I have the tech, the AI doesn't, and yet I can't hit crap. This is really frustrating and i just can't recommend the game in this state.
  6. We do need a map. As people have said, Admirals didn't have to wonder where their fleet was in battles of this age. They knew. Their staff knew. We need a map.
  7. The fact that nothing happens and there is little degradation to systems as the structure is reduced is incredibly short-sighted. I had a BB with 98% structural damage still lobbing 16inch shells with extreme accuracy. Sorry, with that amount of damage, most of the crew would be dead/injured and those guns.. they'd be silent. Just watch any naval gun battle and see what happens as structures are slowly destroyed over time. The turret may not have been hit, but those guns sure wouldn't be functioning with any accuracy or speed. Also, they have scuttle mechanics and crew abandoning mechanics in Age of Sail. They could easily port them over to UA:D.
  8. I think Massie did a great job with Castles of Steel. It's highly cited among the vast majority of naval historians. Beatty was the one to begin all the bullyish behavior, so defending Jellicoe is the right thing to do.
  9. So terrible. I can't play the missions because of how terrible the spotting mechs are. This is a refund-worthy for me. Fix your game, devs!
  10. It's just getting tedious now. Some missions are possible given the tech, but others it's simply a matter of pure luck. Accuracy seems to be GREAT for AI but not for me and most of the time I have superior tech and numbers, which should give me an advantage. It doesn't. I suggest going into the source code again because your accuracy percentages are way off from what they should be.
  11. Someones a little bitter... anyways, I knew coming in that the campaign is STILL a long way off, and yet Im enjoying the game immensely. There are a few things that could be implemented quicker but I really don't want them to rush it, at all.
  12. I was able to get a Majestic-class Pre-dread look-alike going yesterday, which is nice. Now, how to SAVE all these hulls we create.
  13. As some have said already, I'd like to see "real names" for the hulls. You can at the very least add them in a tooltip that you can hide if you don't want that capability. It would make things SO much clearer.

  15. I can get a kinda-Fuso class ship, but the Pagoda is a bit off, the funnel and rear tower a bit off. I'd love to see the components for the Fuso but im sure im not the only one missing a favorite type of warship. Im curious about what you're looking for from the developers.
  16. Yup. RNG needs to be adjusted or at least the percentages that apply TO the RNG. They say you can't fix RNG but you CAN change percentages to AFFECT RNG. I had an AI destroyer that was flooding, had 4% flood value left and miraculously recovered back up to 30. Hit him AGAIN, back down to another 4-5%. Back up to 30. AGAIN I hit him, back down to 4, back up to 30. It's ridiculous. That destroyer should have been dead after the first or at LEAST the second flooding, ESPECIALLY after his superstructure was down to 30%. Most of the crew would be busy fighting fires, shoring up compartments and.. well most of the crew would be DEAD. You wouldn't HAVE the crew to do that sort of counter flooding. This is what the game does not take into account. The amount of actual crew required to do damage repairs in WW1-2 and how useless it usually was in the end.
  17. Having the same issue. Everything else is working fine but this mission so far.
