maybe ill ask my friend with an US alt to help defending the US players down the coast 👀

Please do.  Make sure they put up a better fight than these noobs who ran when they hit structure

I’d also like to note that the sane tactics were used by Banished Privateer aka @Liberalism with pole players opening hostility missions and having other nations fill and complete them.  Unfortunately he failed.

    - Do not interfere with a specific Tribunal case by raising a dust cloud by bringing other issues that should have their own threads. It will be considered off topic -or- if continued; trolling/spamming -

VCO been jumping nations and ruining life for new guys since I remember. Their leader is a Hillary supporter, so go figure.

VCO has been pirate for a couple of years now.

MAGIC clan asked the assistance of friendly pirate clans to flip a port for them so they could get Vic marks and a meager production up and running.  No alts we’re killed to generate hostility.  Missions were made available to the pirates by US captains.  This was all deemed legal in past tribunals and the mechanic in the game allows such.

Cayo Bisc was formerly a neutral port where anyone could access the coastline north or south.  MAGIC clans intention is to plug this leak and stop other nations from doing this.  US leadership is upset because MAGIC clan did this before MONKS clan, a primarily Prussian clan with alts in the US, could flip the port in their name and keep it open, thus doing exactly what we intended.   This was confirmed to myself via a member of the US leadership.  Our aim is to leave it closed and secure the coastline, nothing more.  If our intention was to sabotage the coast we would have picked a port further up, not one 2 mins away from pirate ports.

we also spammed nation chat multiple times for 2 days asking if any clans would like to participate in the battle.  Only 1 took us up on the offer.   No attempts to excluded the nation were done by our hands.

here we are already making the riff raft flee from our coast

Also in the process of flipping the port a handful of dirty clans were seen jumping into hostility missions and intentionally sinking in an attempt to lower hostility and prevent the port being taken.   Just is classic hostility manipulation and I believe, a tribunal offense.

    Those involved.

Please see the video below and keep a good eye at how accurate Detroit’s broadsides are and how much damage was done to their AI.

I humbly ask that @Ink get involved and punish these hostility manipulators.

  3. I'm not so sure the money being made off DLCs is actively being re-invested in the game given the rush to release, lack of advertisements, lack of significant updates prior to release and unfulfilled DLC paint promises....I'd be wary of monthly subs or further DLCs.  Hell the game's website was finally updated after 2-3 years on day 2 of the release.  They've made enough off recent DLCs to keep the lights on I think.

You lost a whole night of sailing 80k stone around the whole map and producing live/white surprises. We lost oak oak shitships and got pvp missions filled. :) You also have a fortified nassau now because you were scared of a balanced portbattle. For whatever reason

Nothing wrong with the defensives and big respect for the motivation to sail it there from vera cruz for the defence of Nassau. I think everyone who knows portbuildings respects that achievement

These 2 posts don't agree with each other.  Sure sounds like someone is a bitter betty

You have that backwards. You're the clan that made the deal not to fight WO not me. I remained in US to continue fighting them after you left to make your alliance with them. Bottom line is i cant stand deals being done to avoid a challenge or crush a nooby nation like US. That is the main reason i didn't go back to pirate because i knew deals would be done.

Rule#1 for VCO should be:   It's better to die on your feet than live on your knees.

      Rule#2: Get your facts straight.

The screenshots I have of you talking to certain members of ours about not wanting to join pirates with us because “WO will fight us no matter what nation we join” must be a figment of my imagination then.  You remained US and continued to help them by......quitting.  it’s been a few months since we’ve seen you on dude.  Welcome back.

All talk and no walk Budgie.  Always saying who everyone should be fighting, but when it comes to being the battles you’re always absent.

Anyway, Good to see you back in game again.  I hope you stick around this time.  We extended a hand to you a while ago to come over pirate with us, you chose to just whine about fights you’re never in anyway.  You won’t be extended another opportunity to join us this time around.

Best of luck in the US.

Are you girls going to stand on your feet this time around and not do deals with anyone that poses a challenge?

Ah Budgie. The guy who wouldn’t join us because he was too scared to fight WO.  Then criticizes us when we stopped fighting WO.  Drink a coopers and make up your mind mate!

Rule #1 in The Art of the Deal.... be open to all deals.  We’ll deal with anyone and everyone. Provided they don’t like mayonnaise.

Uh we never tested forced alliances, we had a voted system that got very stale on both servers with the East vs West on EU and than GB/US/DUTCH vs PIrates and every one else.   The new alliance system would only make it 5 factions you can play and fight against instead of 11.  We have way to many nations right now and way to little players so doing a smaller number of factions would mean more players per team to fight against each other.

We also didn't have forge papers back than, the only way to switch nations was to delete your char and start over for the most part.   Now if you don't like the alliance you can just change nations.

I think it's worth trying out honestly.

This community has always had a deep divide between the arena crowd and the MMO crowd.  In the end, NEITHER may be fully satisfied.

Trying to satisfy both has been this games biggest issue.  Attributes from both types of games don't really mix and the line should have been drawn somewhere 3-4 years ago when it was decided what time of game this was going to be.  It's a shame legends was kind of a half baked idea and didn't really work out.  It would of been nice to have the ability to please both types of game play without having to develop both into 1 game.

I don't know about you guys...

but I am ready for the first port battle where both sides are max port bonus (the max possible of whatever it is) with the best woods all kitted out with Blomfields for the best long guns . The "new" Golden Fleet.

You mean the first port battle when 1 nation has PB Bonus ships and the other is in redeemable Ratts only filling half the BR?
