  1. Oh damn, say goodbye to Pirate population. On the other hand, it creates another Hardcore survival adventure with limited tools, where you still able to cap such ships in PvP and store them in Museum. Don't expect people sailing those much. Honestly, if I could I would take Rates from Pirate Crafting system and add 'Pirate' only ships that no one else can craft/sail, but them. Something similar to Pirate Frigate, but much more variety. ex. Pirate Refit Constitution with heavier guns, but worse base hull HP etc..Give them Epic names + Paint. It would be awesome, but what do I know I am just a humble Pirate. Capture from players - Yes Capture From NPCs - No Craft - I think so? I haven't heard anything about Pirates can't craft rates.
  2. Hello all. I just saw devs posted something interesting and couldn't write more about it. Many know what sweet FX is and what it can do. If you are not familiar with it here is a link to get you interested. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/amazing-pc-graphics-sweetfx/ SweetFX example: So, player asked if it is possible to add Filter to Naval action and Devs replied that SweetFX can be used to achieve such results. Here is the question, last time I tried it it did not work with NA for Unknown reason. If there is anyone who managed to get it going please respond. I am trying to make a guide here. Thanks.
  3. Patch or Wipe? I think you said it will take more time after patch to see the Wipe. Is that true? If so, do we have to wait another week after that?
  4. Had 3 cards from them with 0 problems. Burnt 2 pushing overclock too high, shipped back and got 2 brand new replacements with 0 hastle. Avoid at all costs.
  5. It can run 500 of them at the same time while you are cooking bacon in the kitchen and watching Trump fires people.
  6. 2in1, yes. You will be able to have tons of apps running, multiple games open, video and rendering going all at the same time with no glitch. We have to wait on info and see how much better in gaming it will be vs current ryzen chips. There is no doubt ripper will be faster. I am also very curious to see new gen RAM coming to the market soon.
  7. At the moment yes, but wait for what's coming. AMD won't leave gamers disappointed this time.
  8. Criticism is always welcome here. My predictions never failed me in past. For example with AMD stock that made me quite a bit of $$$ (I still recommend people to buy it as it will grow nicely). If you want official confirmation on details then wait for Computex indeed. We are talking ultra high end gaming here and not Ryzen 1700, even though it will handle 4k nicely with Vega on pair. Ryzen 1700 must be overclocked to shine and only a small % of customers know how to clock. This puts 1700 on low budget list with somewhat ok performance. Thereadripper will be 2in1 when optimized down the road, wait for more info.
  9. Simply because of Star Citizen with 2 4k monitors.
  10. I agree, the more money you will spend on Mobo the better handling it will have while overclocking. There is no questions about it. http://www.144hzmonitors.com/best-gaming-monitor/
  11. I stay and listen to the Wind. It tells me great stories of our past and future. I listen in Silence to the trees and hear them talk, they whisper numbers 26 27 28 29. They also mention a great wave that will come and go. What comes after is unclear as Wind slowly dies and silence takes over.
  12. Wait another 1-2 months for a newly announced AMD 'Thereadripper' to come out. 16 Cores with 32 Threads is not a joke. It is an ultra high end gaming CPU and will cost you some $$$, but you will be set for another 3 or more years. It will be much cheaper compared to the upcoming Intel I9 and I think it's a good investment. Also, AMD is releasing their new powerful GPU called VEGA. Early benchmarks show that you will be able to play 4k@80-100 FPS without any problem. Yeah you heard it right 100 FPS on 4k. If you have those extra bucks to spend hold on to them and wait for these 2 monsters, you won't regret it. 4k - Virtual reality ready gaming PC is something out of this world. Do not waste your money on overpriced Intel and Nvidia, you are going to pay for their Brand names and not performance per $. It's a great time to be alive and witness gaming moving into 4k and Virtual Reality this summer. You will need to save at least $1500, this will get you CPU, GPU and Mobo. If you are building from the scratch then $2000 is a good start. Do not forget to get water cooling, you don't want to spend 100s of $ and run it on air. In addition water gives you room for future overclocking capabilities. What is Overclocking? Overclocking simply means you can add additional performance to your CPU/GPU by increasing Clocks, Voltage etc... without spending extra money. ---------- If you are on budget and don't have 2k+ to spend, Ryzen 1700, 1700x or 1800x mentioned by Olav are definitely good candidates. You can pair them with same VEGA GPU for little over $1k+ when building the new machine from scratch. Discuss.
  13. This idea is lurking around for some time with some likes from Devs, but nothing more. With so many ideas on this forum I won't be surprised if some other Devs are reading them right now thinking how profitable this can be.
  14. Can't agree more. I wrote some ideas here. These can be modified to your liking. In addition, Developers should add floating debris with survivors and floating Chests and Bottles around it as random recovered loot. These then should give ---> 1. Survivors will provide some % of info on - Wreck locations. ex. Pick up 1 survivor and get 25% intel on where location is. Find another 3 and get 100% location. (Large chance to drop from killed Players) 2. Treasure Maps drop from treasure chests and will lead to gold + boosters. 3. Keys (Open Chests) drop from Killed Players and From Port Battle Rewards. 4. Treasure chests - drop maps and gold + (rare item) governor missions, require keys to unlock. Spawn in debris. (Large chance to drop from killed Players) 5. Junk loot - main drop from debris or any other npc/player ships. Loot collections can be collected and exchanged to resources,xp boosters, labor boosters etc.. 6. Missions - have small chance to drop ingredients (paper, ink bottle, gold plated feather) to forge let's say for example Nation Transfer Papers. This system can be used for many other cool things. This simple foundation should get this game back to health.
  15. I still to these days help new players in chat to figure out why Navigation is so difficult, you can imagine what will happen if you completely remove it.
  16. Beautiful Open World with endless exploration possibilities. Detailed Ships and Realistic Physics Massive Battles and Incredible PvP experience. Breathtaking Visuals Magical Nights with Danger waiting ahead. All this keeps me in this game and will keep me here until the end. No matter what this game went through I still remain one of the biggest critics here and It's always wonderful to see the light at the end of the tunnel moving closer with every day. Best moments: Learning how to sail First PvP fights First Victories First Legends In addition, I miss Storms/Lightnings/Thunder and I think your Clouds were nicer before. I did enjoyed them a lot.
  17. They should specify: 1. Deal at least minimum damage required to the Enemy ship in order to be eligible for marks. 2. Enemy must be killed before you will be able to receive rewards split among those who did damage to that same Enemy Is this correct? Trying to make it clear for everyone.
  18. To be clear here, you can't get reward until you kill the opponent or win PB. Am I wrong? You can't get rewards just for damaging ship with target still remaining alive.
