  1. i think as bad as people are making the new tag system out to sound it is something that needed fixing and we are TESTING this game to help make it better. Really only one thing for us to do is test it then come back with what could be improved. I for one am looking forward to a new tag and battle timer system that could make this game better and help with the gank/revenge fleet troubles.
  2. hope someone has a jar to collect all this salt. They do something good for the player base by rewarding people and naturaly someone cries about not be the one to get it
  3. the more i read on the forums the more i see that some of the most vocal people on here are the ones that want a participation trophy. What ever happen to the winner is the winner and the loser is the loser. How has it come to a point in a game meant to have clear winners and losers that we have gotten to were people are complaining about losing is to "harsh". If you lose oh well its part of life... learn from it and get better and fight harder to not be the loser again. This is all the more reason i want 1 dura on ships.

  5. the key problem on pvp2 and its econ is that some people (mostly on nationals side) are trying to get 200g/lh or even 300g/lh for that brig and when people see a brig going for 200k all the other stuff goes up too
  6. 1) lvl grinding. The level grind can get very boring and repetitive and the only reward you get is more crew to have a bigger ship. 2) Crew cost. I think crew cost should change based on your level to make it easier for newer players to deal with as the money spent on crew just to learn to play is very harsh. Think the full price should be for flag captain and up and half for 1st lt to captain and 1/4 cost for midshipman to 2nd lt. 3)Fire and fireships. Fire can be some times a small thing or it can be a big problem. Also find it WAY to common in a fight to get set on fire or set someone on fire. Also think fireship fittings would be worth it if you had a way to light the fire yourself or have your ship blow up at your command. This could be done by adding another crew station and it takes time for the crew to set the fire/blow up the ship but you can still try to do it on your terms
  7. yeah but you also have to remeber we are playing on pvp2 and people SUCK at pricing stuff with in reason on that server
  8. not at all i know many new players that myself and my clan mates have given exceptional ships to and money to help them out on their way with the grind. We would give them an exceptional ship based on what they could crew and go from there. If you made just exceptionals 1 dura then our going to hurt a lot of new players too. The everything 1 dura idea is to make the need for ships more common then it is now and help the econ as well as give a better "thrill" to the fight. No one expects us to go to 1 dura ships and not have a fix to make it easier on the crafting required to make stuff. And you yourself just pointed out why so many people want 1 dura ships with you talking about having 25 3/5 excep ships.
  9. i just like the feeling you get when you risk it all with a 1 dura. As it is now i can take a connie with 4 dura out and go ham and not care. There is less a need to play smart and pick your fights better right now then if it was only 1 dura like i do with first rates

  11. not saying make 4 1 dura ships im saying i make the mats to make 2-3 ships that are 4th or 5th rates. Then i get all my hours back and will be able to make 1-2 4th 1-2 5th or even just 3 5th. that way if i loose a ship or 2 im not going to have to get some store bought throw away to sail so i have a ship. Its the best way i can think of to keep up with the ship lose and then you dont even need to spend all your hours on just ships you can do 1 4th, 1 5th and then mods for those ships instead of the 3rd ship
  12. the only thing i find wrong with this idea is that you are now having 1 person make a choice were you want your outpost and if its 2-3 outpost that the clan has that take up your slots then it kills a lot of what you want to do. I would rather clans had an advantage over non clan people that way it would promote/force more people to play in clans and in all together
  13. this is the reason they need to "fix" the crafting system if they are going to go to 1 dura ships. I can understand the 1st and 2nd rates being expensive to make but 4th and 5th rates should be a lot easier to make if its only 1 dura. Would like to see it to were you could make 2-3 1 duras at max crafting hours that way if you loose a ship or 2 a night you can still keep up as long as its not something big like a SoL
  14. the key issue right now with crafting and mods is that the crafting system needs that overhaul that has been talked about before. There are to may things in this game that need to be able to be crafted and the cost of some of those mods needs to be adjusted to fit the usefulness of the mod and the type of mod (perm/reg). If these were put in then the 1 dura ship and "my gold mods" would be a mute point
  15. i really want to see perm mods go with a ship if its captured at 1 dura. Dont see why the mods that are a "part" of the ship would just vanish after someone else gets the ship
  16. the 1 dura for the new ships is just to test it because it needs to be tested. They never said it will be that the new ships will always only have 1 dura and that all the other ships before this patch will have 5. They are going to ether make all ships 1 dura like a lot of people are asking for or they are going to change the new ships to match what the other ships of its tier are like

  18. i have down voted that and made comments on it before but it always gets drowned out in the BS of people that have to have their safe place and when a game doesnt give it to them they go about bashing it
  19. i think with the raiding only there needs to be a way to say have the "loot" transported to an OP for free. That way you are not limited to what you can use in the ship your in. It would also need to have more mats for a reward then what is currently given or at least a larger verity
  20. You are some stupid boot arent you taking a comment about a game and turning it into a pissing match about who has seen war or not. Any self respecting vet would never go to the lvl or retard that you went to. And yes it was total destruction of all the ports/nation that the brits had so if you cant even take what is put into context and start running your mouth like a dumb boot then so be it.
  21. first off yes i do and fyi i have been playing this game for over a year. i have seen US get pushed back to a couple of ports, war with brits/ retaking of the gulf to the push all the way to south america i have seen were over half the map was us and then rats so yes i know what it looks like what i think is you should THINK before you start typing stupid stuff
  22. no one is saying this is good for server health. This map shows what all out war and destruction looks like when we get serious about it. The "sever health" that you are talking about and we refered to was what we were trying to get going before all the back stabing started and now you have this
  23. got to love being gone from the game for a month and looking in on the map and seeing that the brits no longer exist and all you can think is what did i miss out on
