Is there any other port besides smyrna and sunbury that produce live oak? There`s none. Anyway danes started live oak war. They took sunbury when spain was keeping smyrna. Imo if they would leave it alone we would be happily keeping ports and focus somewhere else. Also with fine woods reduced live oak is not such a big problem anymore. No drama please.

On topic. This shows me what i though for a long time sadly. Sorry but developers in GL have no idea what they are doing, what they want to do with this game, and tbh have no idea how to develop game at all. Basic mistakes, and all what i see is jumping from left to right. Replacing some mechanics and then throwing it away like garbage. Thats not how games are being builded and developed. And when i hear that i already got enough from what i paid ... then really i have no words and end stunned.

Dutch fleet at Santa Marta. Sadly PB was empty besides 2 brave french captains and 1 spain warrior.

Well. I was leading my own fleets in eve arround 2004 and people were using exactly same builds i told them to. That way i knewed what i can do with my fleet and what not. I guess good leader that really want to be 100% effective will act same way in every game and conditions. And about this demasting ... That clearly shows how broken and idiotic this mechanic was. And i still remember how people cried when they changed it ... Besides that. GG WP.

What about pirates vs france @ hispaniola?

Cartagena by dutch. Georgia by danes. Region below georgia by brits. 2 regions near conception by brits. Portobelo and other. No idea about pirates port battles but they had few and i dont think that everyone was empty? Spain against pirates @ south of florida? Was that empty? So there is few of them. Maybe if danes doesnt show in every fight now and then we would see other results. Who knows.

Of course it`s not a problem. Just dont call it a "tactic" ok?

Your tactics? Sorry you have none in most battles i saw. And im not that experienced. You just a) have usually better ship setup, b ) more experience in port battles, c) better teamplay between players due to bigger experience and a lot of battles together. And thats it. When on the other side you mostly fight against bunch of somehow random people with random ship setups. Dont flatter yourself. You are good but not unbeatable. You simply have hardcore maniacs that play for a long time and sits on big assets of gold/ships. I`m not trying to push out danes. This game suffer because actually alliance mechanics are far from being good. Actual hostility rising mechanics are far from being good. Atm certains resources are very hard to get and have big meaning. I would like to see how your alliance works without spain having such big amount of resources and backyard. I wonder how your nation would work when you were forced to get some regions for resources instead of using spain ones. Maybe then you would sing in other tone, but from experience with russians i bet still wouldnt. You are just too arrogant to admit things. Also if denmark would leave NA ... yeah in my opinion with your abusing of mechanics that would lead to more healthy game.

This fight was during EU prime time. If they cant afford one damn 4th rate fleet every 3 days they dont deserve to keep lands. It`s just that. Also danes in every damn port battle is leading to create elitist bunch of players that only fight pbs. I bet danes would love port battles lobby! Because they dont care about game and what their playing mechanics means to game. They just want to have fun themselves. That it may lead to breaking game? Blame devs. There is broken mechanics that just got implemented and should be changed/repaired? Blame devs and abuse it till they fix it! Such mentality is killing game. Soon i`ll open fridge and see 25 same rus/rdnn faces. I really hope devs turn off possibility for allies to join port battles ( they are so rare! so if nation cant afford 1-2 port battles per week ... let them crumble! ) or simply allow only few in like 5-7 maximum. 400-500 players online during eu prime time. Way to go!

Whats wrong with tactically seting port battles in similar times? Spain have problems? Dude then dont defend all. You have way too much ports then you can chew actually, and only new pb mechanics and alliance allowing in pb saved you. Which actually is broken like hell considering how hard it is to rise hostility and how many port battles happen during week ... When sweden takes spain territories undefended and we cant do anything about it, it`s ok right? When you take live oak port and try to break game ( well not you but your allies duches danes ) instead of testing mechanics and having fun, everything is ok right? When GB/VP/US write it`s not ok to hostility bomb, log out outside pb etc what happens? Danes still do it. We wrote that if they dont stop it`ll become meta. Soon there will be 25-30 players on both sides that`ll become elite pb players. But let danes fight every port battle because "they are bored" "want to fight" "they want pb" "its game mechanics" etc. Instead of breaking circle of adoration and start fighting between yourselves you still insist on attacking "west" coalition and you focus on weaker ones! Same happened before port reset. Your side was blaming brits for cheating, exploiting and best part - humilating with 3 admirals treaty ( thats the most dumbest reason to fight i ever heard ) and what you did? Attacked dutch with 4 v 1 mostly, made dutch 2 port nation, crushed our playerbase ( the carebears ), used cheap tactics to gain adventage ( flag trading, multiple fake flags on two fronts at once ), and done exactly what you blame brits for and what actually never happend. And what is best? You said it was done by mistake! And that you didnt want to do it! Yet you did! You guys are the best. Such hipocrisy. And still keep hiding behind false arguments like dutch being 2nd biggest nation ( false ) and that our side have more numbers ( false and total bs ). When we`r tired of kindly asking your side to stop abusing and exploiting stuff and start using our whole playerbase ( not only eu ) you dare to tell us we break game? How insolent!

Dude it`s not about wining or loosing. It`s about fact that certain group of players abuse stupid mechanic that will lead to create "elite" group of port battle players for both sides, which with current war supply bomb and login off mechanics leads to killing playerbase. And with lower playerbase what you think this game will do? But guys. Keep playing for wining at all cost! Abuse it! Break the game!

What is there to remember? Bugged entrance? Fact that spanish port battle had 1 spain player? What else? Actually 1st rate battles should last longer. It`s almost impossible to win during actual time for battle as attacker. Only if defenders really f.... up and make attackers win.

Also if you danes wants balanced 25 v 25 so much large battles are already implemented in game. All fair and square. It`s exactly what you wants. Im talking about experience in 1st rate port battles ... Though it`s obvious.

Port battle Verenigde Provincien vs East Coalition 29.10.2016 We come late to battle and enemies had good 10 minutes adventage i think. Game didnt allow us to join as full fleet and at begining only 21 of us joined. Later also 2 more joined with 1st rate and one 2nd. Also 1-2 of us randomly spawned at begining ( flamignant for example ) and was doomed since begining. Besides that there was moment when i believed that we`ll atleast sink most of enemies. Instead few of us made some mistakes ( yup me too, but i can count 1st rates pb`s done by me on one hand ) and we lost oppurnity to not turn the tides but atleast taking few more with us. Thats what happens when you encounter experienced group with newbies Was fun tho.
