Do you still get xp from other people using your crafted ships?, this could be a way for crafters that spends most of there time trading/moving stuff all the time to advance the knowledge slots and supply market with more ship types and maybe admins prophecy of that player made ships should be cheaper than npc ships might come true. As 6/7 rates would maybe even get crafted by the already l50 crafters so they can progress there knowledge slots
  3. Why? Unless its a super region with every available resource you need for making ships/guns/repairs/rum/(permits?)

  6. Early 2016 had great numbers though, and we had the comfort of resources being within 2-3 ports, i think most distant resource for british was the silver on pedro cay? Even a pleb like me could get into crafting without sailing hours upon hours to get my materials to my shipyard. And we had fleets coming to fight at jamaica from the danes/french/pirates on a daily basis most out of les cayes/cayman brac with most likely tp'd ships i dont see them coming when they need to spend xx hours just to craft there ships and then another x hours to move the ships to the frontline for what can be just 1 fight and then do it all again. Guess devs have been delusional from the start giving us all this comfort and then pummel us taking them away and replacing them with nothing, it certainly showed on player numbers
  7. Just scrap the free towns while at it or add limitations to what ships can dock/undock. if we cant use them to transport stuff from one end of the map to the other (HOURS of sailing), atleast dont make them hunting camps for the insane crafters that invests hours to cross the map

  10. I got pvp1 character and plan to play global so how is this distributed with new servers pvp1=pvp global or pvp eu? Pvp2= pvp global or pvp eu? Presuming pve=pve Do i need to make new character on pvp2 to get my xp on global?

  12. Will we lose our materials/resources to? How does affect material cost for ships? Are we getting any redeemables or will we form cutter fleets to cap ai ships? HF murdering the hapiness of that new player who just got his first frigate class ship ganked outside capital or even first 6th rate and demoted to the cutter. Dont get me wrong i like the idea of 1 dura ships, but im quite sure the few new/inexperienced players we actually get will just get bored/quit when they hit ground zero over and over Also will ai line ships be captureable?

  14. .. i dont like this at all i already have to sail 20-30 min for a good battle that last 0-1h+ and now forced to go back between every fight. This is becoming insane, and with the announced provisions this just killed the game seeing the time investment needed just kills the fun
  15. Great another thing that will eat valuable labor hours. How often will i have to refill these provisions? Seeing as i only have x amount of time to play and actually want to find some action during that time outside the port
  16. this will fix ai running off in a one on one broadside duel to the 1.5hr limit and not even half armor?
