If you all care so little, why are you so salty on the forums? Your words say one thing, your actions another. Then again that's been par for the course I suppose.

Indeed, I picture the Spanish nation much like a child crying for a lollipop right now. They don't have the means to get it for themselves, they just expect the grown ups to give them everything for free. They throw a tantrum when they don't get exactly what they want, then cry when they get punished for it. Afterwards they scream about how unfair it all is and generally avoid taking any responsibility for their own actions and the consequences that follow.

We treated you as not worthy because you kept attacking us... You kept behaving like an enemy, yet you're surprised when we start treating you as one.

Well you are behaving like kids, screaming on the forums and global rather than pragmatically accepting the consequences of your faction's actions. Spain is a small faction that acts like a superpower, claiming entitlement to ports, making ridiculous demands for peace even on the verge of a crushing defeat. And you have a lot to lose, you have your player base. When you're stuck in La Habana how many do you think will stick around? But all this talking is fairly pointless at this stage, you've had multiple opportunities to save your faction through peace. Now nobody else is interested in what you have to say, you can't be trusted.

The trio of clans I saw during the Spanish backstabbing were RAE, RACC and EI. They are to blame for this whole war. The last straw was the exploited defence of Misteriosa, an already pissed off British nation got fed up of one thing after another. During the Spanish-American war Britain had a lot of sympathy for Spain, a smaller faction being crushed and those players suffering for it. Now we don't have a shred of sympathy left, Spain is an impossible entity to trust, one that will opportunistically attack the moment we give a single day's respite.

From what I've seen in port battles, the only thing the spanish are relentless in is running away. I wish you lot actually would fight for a change. Whatever else one can say about the pirates, they fight. They can be outnumbered 5 to 1 and they'll still fight to the last shot, the spanish run away to the last mast...

There's only one response to a deliberate and egregious abuse of an exploit. Ban the alt account, ban accounts all the way back up the chain up to and including the main account. Furthermore name and shame the person involved. This should be the response to any exploit at blatant as this one, regardless of the person or faction perpetrating it. Let's remember that this was not a 'good samaritan' using an exploit to draw attention to it and report it to the developers. It was timed and done quietly, they knew they were cheating.

Some more info, the character's name was "heyhey". A one day old character, midshipman rank. This character buys a 150k flag out of the blue. Spanish players are playing innocent, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that a spaniard's alt bought this flag specifically to block the british being able to do the same.

So, the pirate claim to pride and strength is... avoiding fighting? Very piratey I'm sure, but I'm not sure it's something boast-worthy.

Seems the danes got a bit drunk on success, what with the attempt on Bani. That one didn't go so well for them.

To me this wording seems to imply that certain ships will be incapable of functioning at 100% with their heaviest guns equipped, ie. won't have enough crew to man both guns and sails to full capacity. Is this the case or am I interpreting it wrong?
