  1. Has the API for Shops changed? I did a tool last year and it dosnt work any longer correct. For example: Coal, ID 24 is not in the Shop table at all, same for other ressources.   2. Also ich hab längere Zeit nicht gespielt und freue mich über die neuen Schiffe, aber das war nicht der Grund warum ich derzeit nicht mehr spiele. Es fehlte/fehlt an Langzeitmotivation. Wobei ich die Änderungen die ich bisher gesehen habe sehr gut finde. Das Spiel lebt nicht nur von der Liebe zum Detail, sondern durch das Gameplay. Was nützen mir zig verschiedene Schiffe wenn effektiv nur 3-4 gespielt werden können. Historisch ist das natürlich ein Problem, denn Linienschiffe waren nunmal das nonplusultra in einer Schlacht, nur wegen der Verfügbarkeit/Kostengründen wurden kleinere Schiffe überh
  3. They changed the scaling in small battles. I have had problems with a side mission where you have a limited number of units and my Main army was too big. Before last patch the enemy scaled up to 2,5k each(3 star). In every replay i could find on you tube it was only 1,6k. After the patch i retried the same mission and enemy unit size decresead to also around 1600. At least it was possible now to reach victory
  4. I like to know all the Battles and maybe their "value" without bonusses. Example: Date, type(Major/Minor),Carrer Points,Victory- Money/Recruits/Fame, Draw - Money/Recruits/Fame, Loss - Money/Recruits/Fame (Bonus from winning other battles) Its nice to know what is next and plan your career and troop composition. I am now at fredricksburg with 85k Men because i dont have weapons for more (10 politics and 10 medicine)
  5. Skirmisher and Artillery made the job for me. I played it really offensive in the first part. I placed a strong infantrie line in the western woods with a sniper squad (500 best sniper rifle with scopes) and took position at the cornfield with flanking line infantries in the woods with massive artillery behind them. 2 cheap skirmisher units to the west and than to the north to attack the enemy artillery or rear flanking line infantrie from the woods. Yes it is Gramptons Gap and no there are not only skirmishers also 2 line infantries one is in the small wood directly at the map border and the second one is behind the "normal main line" and will start fire directly if i am on top of the hill and flank me, guess its because the line of 2500 are bigger than the ones in the replays with only 1600 men. But i also dont understand why i have to fight 2500 men lines with 3 stars and in all the videos i found 1600 was the max amount of enemy men in the line i have tried it multiple times now, best result was with Infantrie only, detaching skir
  8. I am a little bit pissed of the scaling the game does in minor battles. Atm i am playing union and need to conquer a farm on a hill surrounded by wood. I start with 4 brigades and will get 5 additional later. The enemy has around 15 brigades from the start all in full cover with two 600er arty and 2 skirmishers, rest seems to be line infantrie (all around 2,5k size) and of course all his units are 3 stars (normal difficult) I saw multiple lest play on this battle but always the enemy has maxed size of 1600, against the 2500 3 star lines in my game , i am not able to do this in time
  9. This will not happen. They just changed it from "First Rates" to "Fourth Rates" So if you join a PB with something smaller than a 4th Rate you will be "the idiot who lost the PB". Its "the bigger the better" rule that is still active (for port battles, a experienced Captain can beat a bigger ship in a 1vs1 but in a 25vs25 the individual skill becomes less important than the Armor and Cannons of your Ship).

Last Port Battle i participated a dutch fleet was attacking a pirate harbor so we build a defence fleet and even if the dutch got bigger BR - more First Rates- they just sailed away to keep us busy without the intention to capture the Port. In the End, the Circle of Death forced them to get in range, so we where able to sunk 6 First Rates in the last 15 Minutes. Without that Circle they will stay out of range 90 Minutes and no fight happens at all. If the Attacker dont want to fight he must be punished in some way if he dont leaves (its ok to leave if you see you losses will be too high,
  11. Schön das es eine so sachlich und objektive Diskussion ist. Ich hatte schon befürchtet das einige wieder nur trollen wollen. Zum Glück befinden wir uns aber im deutschen Teil des Forums, da kann man sich sicher sein nur von intelligenten, kultivierten Menschen umgeben zu sein.
  12. @Endut Die Briten nutzen das Forum um die Devs davon zu überzeugen, dass die Piraten generft werden müssen, vor allem im internationalen Teil des Forums. (Besonders stark nachdem wir sie bis nach Jamaica zurückgedrängt haben). Dabei ist ihnen jede Form recht, insbesondere Halbwahrheiten wie sie auch hier oft verbreitet werden, Propaganda halt. @Traditionssegler Merkste die Einschläge noch? 1.   13. Schade das immer noch der Propaganda der Briten geglaubt wird, statt sich mit der Mechanik auseinanderzusetzen. Aber ich nutze hier diesen Thread mal dazu viele Missverständnisse aufzuklären. 1. Wechsel zu den Piraten durch Angriff: Du verlierst ALLES was in einer Neutralen Stadt oder in der Stadt deiner ehemaligen Nation ist. Du nimmst also praktisch nur das aktuelle Schiff mit und kannst dann nur noch bei den Piraten oder in freien Städten docken. Natürlich kannst du vorher alles in eine freie Stadt transferieren - wenn du nicht zu viel hast und geeignete Städte in der Umgebung sind.
  14. And it dosnt matter, because its only a chance and of course if you read the API, you can see different values for chance by different Ships. So you can see wich one has the highest chance and of course which one has at least a chance.
  15. Ja Zeit ist auch mein Hauptproblem, aber wir sollten uns vielleicht mal unterhalten, dann kann ich mal gucken ob ich was einfaches bastel, das dir die Daten liefert.
