What !! i could of voted for more than one Voted for open world depending on how many ports/landing points were included if very detailed 20-30 would work would like to see simple economy in open beta it was mentioned that the English channel would be used in open beta perhaps from as far north as Bremerhaven to Brest on the south or even to include the entire Bay of Biscay -Boarding combat and the ability to put a prize crew on a captured ship -Damage content looking good needs tuned, more visable sail damage perhaps -Boarding combat and the ability to put a prize crew on a captured ship -Full line of ships 10 to start was mentioned perhaps a couple of Merchant for econ testing -Detailed customization ability to change look of ship add bow/stern chasers paint scheme naming your boat -rank progression; officer/crew management -npc Player controlled land batteries in that order

    they kinda did you can buy and extra large cargo hold for your current ship giving it a 25% magic increase in cargo space for a bout 5-10 dollars depending on the size of your boat
  4. just found this thread great ideas was kind of thinking if they had a captain's cabin while at sea a table with a chart of the local area and larger area where you can plot your course local chart could be used instead of radar map like potbs map showing everything in area the chart could be used showing your relative location / heading and other ships within sight ( with their course/heading) it would show them as unidentified until you or your spotters made an identification after they went out of sight it (could show) their last heading for a period of time or distance aprox 30-50 nm < was thinking about just for open sea but would be nice for battle in bad weather/visibility would be nice to know land location and last known heading of your opponent
  5. currents in open world travel would be nice however reading about some of the currents it would be a fairly large project for the devs ex. the currents in the english channel change direction every 6 hours and there is this vidieo that shows currents in the med. if they can pull it off would make for some intresting open sea sailing 2:12 vid on youtube

  12. how about adding an other camera angle platform in the crows nest spotter with telescope for spotting far away boats

  15. would love to the ability to send messages by using signal flags. statement by admin not most likely to happen because the casual player wont be able to understand them Maybe signal flags could be a semi-perm item to denote the captain's name or society name; A pay item perhaps? Also would like to be able to see the name of ones boat on the Fantail; also a semi-perm item, Another pay item? as i would pay to put both on my ship.
