This was never a problem in the past but several months back it started and I never reported because I thought it was my pc spec but I'm not so sure now since some things have been getting worse. The first time I enter battle after logging in it takes ages to go to the battle screen and so the prepared perk cant instantly load chain, i work around it by attacking an ai first before i do anything else because once i have entered the battle screen the problem disappears for all following engagements. Then it started to happen for leaving port for the first time, takes ages, once i have left the port and re entered the problem disappears and its fine.

A lot of problems this weekend including for clan members from different countries. Will do F11 when the game comes out of maintenance, a lot of tiny issues building up now. On the connection, we all experienced big variations in ping. This morning in open world suddenly changed to start stop start stop at a fixed frequency and remained like it until log out, fps43 ping19 (these values seemed ok to me but the sailing was definitely not ok) and no chat lag.

I'm not sure if this is a bug but will post it, in fact, I have seen several tiny anomalies recently so I will post them individually. I normally post them in F11 but when they are small I tend not to and now I'm starting to think this is a mistake. I was towing to a port and had 40 seconds left to go when I was tagged, I obviously thought ok the tag countdown will beat the tow countdown. I was surprised when the tag countdown completed and instead of going into battle I found myself at the tow port with the tag circle still round me and obviously no attacker in site. If this is how tow works then fine but something kind of felt odd about this.

Ok so some of us are moving resources and ships ready for map reset. This is meaning that a lot of things are getting moved into capital or to ports that we know will be safe. Then sit on your hands and wait? One thing I would suggest is that they broadcast this in the login screen. I have spoken to lots of people who dont read the forums. The only reason I suggest this is because it will reduce the amount of incoming messages of 'what the hell happened!'. Something like ' Map resets in 7 days ' ... message in login screen.

Nice ... any chance of moving the pirate capital ... its a bad location for our role. Kidd's Harbour would be much better, that's just my opinion for many different reasons. One of which would be, to get the port battle mentality out of pirate brains.

Historically accurate?... you mean, like teleports ??? Keep the game playable.

Could the developers please add two group options in the chat interface, we have nation, global and help. Could you please add WTS and WTB to these because all the selling clogs up chat. Thanks

Just thought I would let you know ... I cant join that server, still says its locked due to PvP One EU.

the reason you cant login is simple .... you have not been logged out ... you are out.. your ship/player is in ..thats why it says 'full' and that is why you cant login to other servers

I just hope that once its sorted .. we haven't lost anything. But if i lose my ship it will probably do me a favour ... I will stop playing and get a life ...hahaha

Well .. Im hoping they have the server configured to bang their Alarm clocks... it is Alpha i know... but im wondering what might happen to me ship...sobs... lol

I hope i still have a ship... sobs... why after battle end did it move me to the deck of a Suprise AI ... and my ship vanished. Alpha I guess.. oh well ... if i get the surprise i wil be happy but .. i wont of earned it.

Some really crazy shit just happened... and i cant get back in. AI attacked AI and i joined and sided on the winning AI side .. then after battle end .. game over it moved me from my Niagra onto the deck of a Suprise AI.. then it said lost connection with battle.. logged out.. cant get back in.

hey! lets just play and let them sort it... this must be a major headache.

Its great you guys are putting up servers. I think this is all going to be muddled for a while, but I guess it will work out fine in the end.

There is a whole thread of maps on the forum .... i get the feeling everybody is using their own map. I know that's not ideal, but it is a temporary work round and a way of laying a compass rose over any position. http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/forum/45-maps/

Ha ha ... I love that! Well you know with each nation you will get something... I dont think the pirates have armchair admirals .. we are far to chaotic and disorganised... lol
