  1. Hi Ink, I ran a network test as request (NAS-712318). I also extracted the custom and bullet logs and can see the battle details but unfortunately I can't see anywhere that states the repairs I entered the battle with. What I'm really asking here is can I get my ship back please, it was an Agie with longs all round and 3 beautiful perm mods? I had to grind for days to get the ship and I would really prefer to be back in it. I'm pretty experienced at staying alive especially to AI and I had the repairs to do so but a disconnect removed them from my hold. Appreciate your time and help with this. Albert (Character: Chicken Shack)
  2. Hey Ink, the network issue was on my side. I'm sure of that but it took some time to reconnect. What the main problem was that I had 30 Hull repairs in the hold (started with 45, did 1 hull repair) and when I reconnected I couldn't repair in order to pump water out and escape because my hold was empty completely. I ran for a good 3 minutes whilst my ship filled from 0 water to 100% and was well out of range. So I believe a bug in the hold contents disappearing on reconnect caused my ship loss. Can you please advise me how I give you data to prove my hold contents at the start of the battle? I definitely submitted an F11 report and it came back submitted. How can I check? Thanks, Albert
  3. Hey folks, I would appreciate someone look into my F11. (User: Chicken Shack) I had a terrible network issue and when I eventually got back into a battle my ship was on it's last legs. I had the battle under control up to that point. Thanks,
  4. I'd love to see more livery and skins in game that paid for. Nothing that gives a player any in game advantage, just bling. Perhaps competitions to allow the communicty to design/ decide the next ship livery. The devs need to generate funds and I feel well designed skins always draw an audience. Imagine if we could buy nice figure heads, put designed on the sails, etc. All for the good of the longevity of the game.
  5. Best of luck Aussie, it was always fun conversing with you. I'm sure we will see each other in game. As a reference, Aussie likes to have a good old chin wag as we call it in GB, serious stuff and not childish stuff. Perhaps a German/ English speaking group? Aye, Ablert
  6. Gentlemen of the moderation team and Game Labs. My shipmate Mr Hairy Trousers, mentioned to me he was feeling a little lonely being the only British/ British moderator on PVP1 (I.e. a Brit in Brit nation moderator). If you would like to redress the balance a little I would be very happy to help. I also know many of the other moderators on PVP1. I do not play often on the other servers so only this server I would be able to help with. Have been playing the game since late Sea Trials and throughout the OW era of NA. I regularly help new players (and old) with regards to questions about the game. Especially crafting, the interface and tips and tricks. I manage engineers for a living and have an engineering background. Have 1500 Hours in the game. Have a patient and balanced attitude to dispute resolution, put myself in the shoes of both parties. Play every day, online in chat when not sailing. Aye, Albert
  7. Same bug as forever. Built a Gold Frigate, dropped a Belle and an Essex BP, forgot I had only 1 slot in the warehouse and the Essex was lost. Why not just overflow into the hold of a ship when people make mistakes like this guys? I've been trying to get that BP for a week and my levels of rage are extreme right now. Never screen shot it, I never expected it to be gone. My mistake I know but frustrating all the same.
  8. I think Bigvalco has made very good points, all valid, with evidence. The biggest problem this type of disruptive play causes is people lose hours in their lives. This game requires enough patience and careful planning already without this effort being made pointless by selfish and bad attitude of these other clans. I think the ringleaders should have their accounts defaulted to zero xp and rank on all fronts. The Tribunal should clamp down on this and set an example so that others who are considering such tactics think carefully before proceeding. The decision to make this spoiling play was theirs to make, there is no excuse. The fact that the guilty openly admitted their malice makes it even more concrete.
  9. This happened just as the Port Battle Timer for Port Morant was ending. I was one of the British drawn into the battle but since I was't the one being tagged I didn't know who did the tagging or whether the tagging British ship was left to escape unharmed by the Danish fleet. I was told it was a British Belle tagging a Danish Surprise. What is certain is the mechanics that draw players into a battle are preventing the British from leaving their capital during the port battle window. If this was just a case of having to fight our way through the blockade it would be fine, we could draw the enemy out to open water and engage. But since the Danes cannot actually tag anyone in the nearest zone to the Captial, the only way they could achieve a battle situation and not be subjected to having huge reinforcements being called to attack them was for a Brit initiate the tag. No British player was stupid enough to do this, and new players in Cutters would not have the BR to start the fight. This was a planned tactic.
  10. I got the same treatment, lost all my accumulated hours and the ship I had just built. It was a Gold Belle Poule and I dropped a Constie BP. I had spent the morning sailing around buying lots of parts, like 3 hours in real time. Very frustrating.
  11. I believe it was a server technical issue, that turned into a maintenance to try and fix the issue. So if you lost assets, it wasn't because of bad communication, more bad luck.
  12. We're all Europe, please don't forget that, oh sorry it's the wrong century! lol Let's all hug and make up, and maybe GL can create the Americas Cup sailing game for us, no battle just manual sailing After all, this thread should really be Titled "France declare War on The British and no fighting ensues!"
  13. I think you might have left the battle before the Battle Over message popped up no? Certainly your screenshot shows lots of people leaving. What port was it?
  14. I think Pirates should be exactly that, rats, a pain in the back side of the nations, railing and plundering, yarring etc. They should have safe havens, secret until discovered certainly not visible to the nations to begin with. They should be able to raid a port and leave with the loot, craft, perhaps more agile, larger crew and specialist ships to suit their purpose. They shouldn't have the resources available to craft 1/2 rates, nor the inclination to do so but capturing and enhancing capped ships would be an option. Right now they are a nation with a navy. I see no difference in being a pirate over the other nations other than to adopt one of the popular pirate names with a number after it. Aye Albert
  15. Actually if it's 2 hours earlier, prime time evening is in the Pacfiic Ocean, whilst I feel fro the Pacific Islanders, I think there are more Aussies in game right now. -2 for me.
  16. Hi Folks, My client stopped authenticating with your servers a short while before the patch today. Possibly around 11am CET. I raised a bug ticket. NAS-58850. Is my account locked? Response: Enter Shard 'PVP' EU' using your Steam ID Authentication error: Unable to get ticket from authentication server I tried from 3 different networks so it's not a connectivity issue. It worked shortly before the maintenance, perhaps stopping working coinciding with the login shutdown before the maintenance. Log file: http://89.163.234.93:7770/credentialsListener/ 9748:[2015-Dec-01 19:40:23.268185] Log: [12/1/2015 6:40:23 PM] SendWebRequest: received response from http://89.163.234.93:7770/credentialsListener/: { "ResponseType": "AuthWithCredentialsReject", "CredentialsQuota": 0, "CredentialsTicket": null, "Reason": "Unable to get ticket from authentication server", "AuthTicket": null, "AuthUserId": null Thanks, Albert
  17. The third looks like a typical after event surrender parade. The sort the artist creates once he knows he's going to get paid.
  18. It's also a basic human right, free speech and is something that makes this game so appealing, the social aspect. Also take away the 30% of effective communication we get from chat (assuming the bigger 70 is action/ body language which we don't see) then the factor that helped avoid nearly all combat throughout history, communication would be lost. People have to learn to talk nice to eachother, a basic life skill.
  19. I'd hope that if a captain was about to become a Pirate, there would be a warning like when we accidentally tag a friendly ship, there's a chance to rethink that choice no? I'd have certainly not joined if that had been the case. Either way, SeaWolf and Sureshot managed to escape which in my opinion was a good tactic in their fast Connie's. I'd have done the same.
  20. Thanks for the clarification akd. Certainly put the willies up me when SeaWolf started saying this, that's pirates for you! A lot of fuss over nothing in the end.
