And altho there were 30+guns on so called xebec-frigates you will have no good time with such a ship versus a reaf squarerigged frigate. At the end of the day, there's not a whole lot of difference between the bulwark that's eight inches and one that's three inches thick if your average roundshot is going to punch straight through both of them.
