How? 2+ ships; toughter ones; better AI; a mix?

If the average player can choose, i bet he will prefer a big one: why should i "loose time" maneuvring when i could smash you with power?

Snow is one of the best starting ship IMO: light, fast and full of cannons everywhere, a perfect choyce for newcomers that want to test fighting with square sails ships. If the AI 5th rate ships were sold little cheaper, a newcomer can easyly buy one and in few time start with light frigate

I do think the same but what can i do? I think it's a mistake having NA and NA Legends as same game with only a bigger map, but...

Well, it will be the death of 7th rate ships, useless for the 80% of PvP players. A suggestion: instead of 7th rate "battle" ships, can you group trading and eventual fishing ship in the last rate, letting from 6th rate ships as PvP ships? After all, we need to build ships anyway...

Well, since i was here both ingame and in forum, i met lots of helping players, one over all was @SKurj. Someone helps a lot, some other less, but each did it. Very, very few ppl ignore me, but it’s ok: i am not new to multiplyer games and i didn’t aspect, as a newcomer, a long red velvet carpet and 21 cannons salvo by the community. It was a very pleasant surprise to see such a community as here... But it’s always good to meet someone satisfied of the game that “looses some time with you” sharing a little bit of his experience, trying to give freely to the new players a little of his fun. It’s not a job, just passion.

Someone could find the exploration a marvelous thing overall, some other join us because of fight. Or a good mix of it. In the menwhile he can learn the mechnics, asking ingame and in forum. If you relly like the game, you stay...

Until yesturday i had a fir/fir Snow with medium cannons in every decks. Then i read in forum that fir/fir (no buffs) are sailing coffins so i sold her and bought another one thicker, with carronades on upper deck and medium cannons on the others. Today i wanted to try my new Snow and i went out KPR hoping to meet some good NPC to dueling with. I saw a french Navy Brig alone and i pursued it. In the meanwhile, someone came and targeted the same ship, entering in combat before me. I decided to join the battle anyway, but since he was the first entering in battle, i wrote him once i was in istance i will help him but i will let him to sink the enemy. I charged my cannons with chains and i started to find the best position with always the wind behind me. It was intersting to maneuver searching for the best position with relatively safeness due my team’s new friend shooting at enemy’s hull. Perhaps my team mate was a newcomer and he couldn’t menage the fight, so i started to aim to the enemy’s hull too. I almost sunk our foe and then i told my team mate: “Ok she’s almost dead. Finish the work”. He did it but went out before to search the wreck. I did it: nothing really special as i thought. But i felt good, helping someone i didn’t know, just for the sake to help him (and myself)

Yes and no: this reminds me RL situation in Italy or Germany for exemple, in the past history: a lot of little States, fighting each others for supremacy. First time a Big Fish comes, all they will perish and they will be inglobated and forgotten. Not sure if i like it...

In my opinion the people who want clan based are the ones who want just to fight. Fight all day long headless. A huge blob which inside there’s ppl fighting each other. They are here only for win in battle. No RvR, no relactions among States. Just fight on the battlefield until the last man (ship). And now that the NA Legend server will close, there will be more and more. It’s not bad per se but there are other players who wish for political stuffs, PvE stuffs and so on. All have the rights to enjoy their play style...

So to “beat the game” we all should join a Nation and all this for a fistful (or more) of Combat Marks? That will kill the game. No, thanx, even i will stay alone under other flag, i will play with the Nation i chosed at start.
