NAVAL ACTION 2 What improvements changeswould u like to see

Recommended Posts

Give us a wind shadow!

If two ships sail close to eachother then the ship in the upwind position steals the wind from the downwind ship.

This would make boarding attempts and point blank broadsides quite interesting...

And please implement a support for SLi / Crossfire X (dual grafic card) systems.

Im 100% sure Naval Action 2 would be single player game.

It would be like age of pirates 2 city of abandoned ships.

AV combat.

All land is accessible on foot.

Smuggling,

Trading,

Piracy,

Port capturing, All the usual, but most of all  :  MODDING applications.

Tools and permission for modding makes game immortal.

Like someone else said, the complete game being in the battle instance world, so best graphics, needing to use your manual sails. no more horrible tagging mechanism. You see enemies sailing, you can sail up and start shooting straight away. Would be just like IRL then. Would love this.

Offcourse this is not possible because either the engine can't support this or the lag would be so massive its unplayable. But most probably both :)

I don't think anyone should be thinking about NA2 when this game is still in development. There are things like expansion sets, that could improve this game with all sorts on enhancements, without thinking about developing a complete new version.

You only have to look at other games and see what the community has done to improve them, by creating some pretty decent mods.

I bought Silent Hunter 3, many years ago now, which out of the box was pretty tame. Once the community were able to modify it with a massive mod, Grey Wolves, the game became one of the best U-Boat games ever played. It still has a strong following and many people still play it, including myself, more than they do Silent Hunter 5, which came out five years later.

What is to stop the developers improving on this game, or even allowing the community to ad mods to the game.
