Yesterday, 5 from REDS in 4th - 2nd went to Cartagena to get some PvP from the Dutch. 3 Battles followed. In the First battle we sunk a Pfrigate while a 3rd Rate got away. During taht Battle, 2x Aggas, a Christian and 2x Wasa jumped our Wasa outside wich didnt make it into Battle in time (Instead of Joining the big battle they came for the lone Wasa)
After the Pfrig was gone the remaining REDS jumped into taht Battle as well. Turning it into a Fight between 2x Christan, 2 Wasa Russian side VS 1x Christian 2x Agga's, 1x 3rd Rate and 1xWasa. The battle ended with 2 Wasa's sunk one the RUssian Side and everything sunk expect the Wasa on the Dutch side.
During battle we got Report taht !18! Dutch Ships are Waiting for our 2 remaining Christian outside. We scramble wahtever Ships we coud get our hands on and sent them to Cartagena as a Backup.
Wich Led to this Battle:
where we bravely took our Last stand against the Dutch
All in all a very,very Fun night!! o7 to the Dutch for this fights (Even if i lost a Wasa and a Indefa during it)
i REALLY hope the new Raid system will lead to many similar situation where you can go for a Port without taking it.

I think the Frontlinesystem woud be much better with a simple change: The order of capturing Ports. The attacker has to capture 50 % of the small Ports before he can attack the Main Port
Santa Domingo as a Example: The Attacker woud need to capture Azua, Bani and El Soco before he coud attack Santa Domingo. Conquering a region woud basicly escalate from 2 or 3 10'000 BR Battles into a Big finale 25000 BR First Rate Battle. This woud make Portbattles more diverse.
Currently, if a Nation takes the Mainport, the losing Faction will likely not defend the smaller Ports anymore (if they wanna get Ports back, they will attack the Main Port directly.)

to be fair, i mostly use Tbrig with a 5th rte escort. I control the Escortin battle. after i lost the battle i will run with the Tbrigs. Espasically near the Coast, you will have a good chance of getting into a Port with your Tradeships before youre tagged again. Or the Backup you called from you Clan might be able to reach you in your second battle.
i think its a good system

He shoud get a Warning, the Devs have stated its not allowed to join a Battle without the intension to fight. Ban him for a Week

The way Frontlines RvR is structured has made it all about area Capital ports and little else.
In my humble opinion it would have been better if say half of a regions ports needed to be taken first to attack the region capital, bringing in lower BR port battles for the linked towns that smaller clans could maybe contest.
At the moment is a capital to capital game for large BR fleets, the system has effectively taken all smaller linked ports out of RvR in my opinion.
Yeah, that woud make seens. a couple of Small Battles before the BIG final 25k BR fight. i hope the devs see this as well

Screening isn tlow risk. if you catch the PB Fleet, you have to go for the Mortar Briggs.. Wich means you have to go trough the enemy Fleet. Iam always on Screen Duty, and in my expiernce, defending Screening means you usually lose your Ship.

Attack San Juan woud mean attacking the Danish crafting Port. Wich woud you guys call unfair again. So we cant..
