  1. A little off topic but just know not everybody is going to be on the same page as you. Some want this game much harder and some want it more easy and not everybody will be happy. Try to remember all the people whom refunded the game on steam because of how hard they made the starting battles let alone some of the other crazy battles. My point is I don't want this new game to turn out like UGCW! Don't get me wrong about this I have over 2k hours playing it over the years since it was released so yes I got my moneys worth with that game.
  2. Also fix every battle results in both campaigns to report correctly the results. It is so stupid when it's does give us a victory yet all objectives are marked red X instead of a green X. Also fix (The Escape) battle report to reflect the ships and crew instead of Infantry for both sides. I can see it maybe for Bunker Hill seeing you have soldiers however for a sea battle it makes no sense.
  3. I put over a dozen ships into that zone and it's gives me a defeat and a lost of the war when I had 40 rep. I did what the game said to do and it's gives a defeat and your telling me it's fixed yeah right! Make it so if one ship gets into that zone then it's a done deal, end of story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Any battle you make that has a red safe zone for us to send our ships to safety after a required phase tells us to go there then you should make sure that when just one of our ships make it to that point then that should satisfy that kind of objective so we can get a victory and not a defeat when fleet retreat is the actual objective at that point of the battle. Program it correctly for you have several battles that are like this and if they are working then why not this one? If one ships gets there give us the green checkmark to get the victory. Why waste hours of playing when your objective is not working correctly when only you find this out at the end of the battle which sucks big time!
  5. I disagree with you I just took in your update and played it just now and the same thing happened again and of course I F11. This time I captured 7 of their war ships and I sailed every ship on the ocean in phase 2 to the safe red zone and again it gives me a defeat and a fail the war. Get it out of the campaign if all you are going to do is lye.
  6. Already F11 but I am putting this out. FURS when the 1st phase ends suddenly all unit icons stick together on screen so when you move your mouse all those icons go everywhere you move the mouse so all units don't function because I can't link all those icons to the units. So affectively what I had to do was run down the time of the mission for all the units on field are frozen in place so because I already had the fort but all units are frozen in place I speed run down the time and it's weird that I got a victory for the time ran out and I only lost 40 men for the whole battle because of this same bug that was in one of the British campaign battles of long ago. Battle of Valour Island just played it for the first time after this last update and to my surprise I got a defeat when I actually did the only objective again another broken mission about giving me credit for actually doing the only objective. Where is quality control? I captured 6 British ships by using my 3 ships for the battle. In the last phase of the battle you are given a choice that you don't get to pick but what it is: is save fleet or eliminate enemy however when look at the objective the only one there is save fleet so something is broken. The enemy in 2nd phase have 7 war ships equal to my 3 ships but my 3 ships are depleted due to the 3 waves of enemy ships so I choose to save fleet by that time which is the only real objective so the game shows you the red safe zone of where to sail your ships to. I sent all 6 of the ships I captured, plus my 3 ships and about 5 or 6 of the ally ships so in other words every ship I had I sent them all into the safe red zone and once the last ship gets in there guess what? I get a defeat even though I did the only real objective to do in the 2nd phase. What I don't understand is why put a battle in the campaign for us to play when you don't even test it yourself to see if that objective works to give us a victory if we put all the ships in the red safe zone? I will even bet if I wiped out those last 7 war ships the game objective would still show a red x in the save fleet box so it still would be a defeat what a joke!
  7. Well thanks but I am not the only one playing this game and honestly I know this is early access and I support them but when you just copy and paste a battle from one campaign into the other campaign and you don't play it yourself or testers to see a simple problem that the game expects 2 transports from the other campaign in order for it to give you a victory so instead it will give you a lost. I think it called quality control and frankly it's not creative or original.
  8. I think I am going to answer what I think the problem is which actually I think the DEV should answer? Currently when you start this battle called Stay Hungry it shows on your upper right corner of your screen guess what shows? 1 Capture Imperial. 2 Capture Kestrel 3 Fleet Retreat Which is correct for the American Stay Hungry for those are the 2 transport ships that is in this battle. But in the end of battle screen it gives me a lost because this is the same freaking mission from the British mission so they never changed the report objectives just notice what I reported above about what they listed as the 4 objectives that gave me 4 red X in each objective when the battle ended? It's the same objectives in the British mission the DEV really goofed it up! My proof is I get the 40k and the transport and a war ship but it gives me a lost because it expects the Monaca or the Trinfante transport ships from the British mission! That why I said it's the same damn mission.
  9. I just played this mission (Stay Hungry) a few times and every freaking time I capture 1 transport and sometimes I also capture 1 of the enemy war ships and I send every ship into the safe red zone which the freaking game shows me I have to do it that way so I do it and the freaking game gives me a lost. I sent a F11 but I don't like playing a broken battle mission! What's the point in playing a battle that gives you a lost even though you did 2 of the only one is required to get a victory? Even with the lost that it gives me I still get the 40K money plus the captured Kestrel and the HMS Kingston 40 gun ship which is correct in what I captured so why would the game give me a lost every time I tried it and keep in mind I sent every ship into the safe red zone? The objectives are: At least one must be for filled 1 Capture Monaca, 2 Capture Triunfante, 3 Eliminate fleet, 4 Save fleet. The transport ship is called Kestrel not Monaca so could that be the problem? Before the battle ends it shows me 3 green checkmarks as if I captured both transports which I only captured one so that is screwed up and it shows I saved my fleet but when the battle gets to the mission report it is a lost and it has all 4 objectives with a red X which it should reflect that I captured Kestrel and Save my Fleet into the safe zone so those two objectives should have a green X checkmark and I should get a victory so this is a bug that needs to be corrected. And my other point is why the hell did you put this mission into the American campaign when it is the exact same mission in the British campaign which was a bonus I think?
  10. Well it all depends on what you have available for the battle. My simple solution is to first capture the 2 British war ships then get the transport ship once that is done you may have to fight a little with Lenox (500) ship but what I do is send a sloop or cutter that has explosive barrels which you get that tech at the start of the campaign and the moment I maneuver the sloop to intercept Lenox so I set it on fire and the mission ends in success so for me there is no reason to fight the other ships that are left.
  11. Today I played Bunker Hill in new campaign and at the lower flag I had 3 infantry units that charged an enemy unit which ran south to near where the supply wagon comes out and after the enemy disbanded those 3 infantry units got stuck on the map and would not move forward so for the rest of the 2 hours battle I had no use of them. And one of the enemy cannon unit that was below the little hill by the ocean once I captured it again as nearly every time I play this battle that unit will not move so I always have to leave it behind or the unit will be blasted to death by the war ship. Same bugs as always. Just saying. Reported many times.
  12. I agree to a point however I would think whatever any ship might need in order to operate whether with guns or not, anything over that should be able to deploy. Sure I could lower the crew on the transport but then again if an enemy tries to board it then I might need them but most times that is not a problem but if that did happen why is it I can only transfer the whole crew to the boarding ship so either I end up with no crew on the transport and all the rest of the crew is now on the boarding ship which makes no sense to me if it was a war ship I could deploy a small unit to that boarding ship and therefore I would still have my ship. I don't need 175 crew to run a small transport ship so why can't I deploy some of them like I can with a war ship? Some war ships you can deploy nearly everybody on the ship and sometimes I only have 5 or 7 on a ship in some battles and I find that's a little weird for they can still shoot the guns.
  13. Maybe a little off topic but I would like to know why we can't use the crew on our transports to debark to a land battle. What I am asking is if I have a crew of 175 on a transport and two marine units of 150 each only the marine units debark into the battle but the 175 crew stays on the ship why can't I have some of them debark like I can do with the other war ships?
  14. ok finally I sunk most but was able to get one to camp so thanks for fixing it.
  15. What does that mean my only issue if there is a safe zone and your fleet objective is green but when after I decide I don't have what is required to get one of those transport I just want to leave the battle before I lose all 4 of my ships so I give it a try but so yeah I won't get the 25K but al least I will save part of my fleet and at least I tried. So you your saying you fixed the green objective your fleet won't go to red and fail?
  16. My opinion of this mission. Just tried it again but remember I won this the first time I played it but to me the updates made this mission super hard. At this point in my campaign I was unable to unlock the trophy Arrogante which gave me this bonus mission so I am unable to bring it to the battle so my best ships are only 6th rate with only 200 sailors on each of them and they can only go about 8 knots so I put 3 of them in the battle and 1 explosive barrels ship to try out and test this battle again. Those, 3 large war ships for whatever rate they are have 500 sailors on each of them which they can hit my ships with long distance accurate powerful fire shots and also they have 2 big war ships that have 280 sailors on each of them and don't forget they have 2 large transports that have 548 sailors on each of them making this bonus battle NOT worth the trouble it causes so I think the next time I play the whole campaign when I am in fireworks I'll make sure that I burn the Arrogante up so I won't have deal with this stupid mission. No matter what your opinion is on (save fleet) what I am saying is true. I fight the battle and find out that one of my 6th rates blows up from all that firepower long distance so that only leaves me with 2 of my 6th rates left then I try to get to the transports with the wolf pack behind me my explosive ship was able to take one of those 3 large war ships but they still have 2 of them left so the wolf pack is 4 war ships and 2 transports giving them a total of 2656 sailors against my 400 sailors on my 2, 6th rates left so you may try to see my point that at this point in the battle I should be able to get away and keep the green objective (Your fleet) even if I can get to the red zone to retreat. I think this mission is screwed and don't forget if I don't get one of those transport I don't get any money anyways. I agree with you if you were to just leave a battle the moment it started then you shouldn't win it but I also agree like in this particular battle that if I fight in it and the task becomes too big and I already have a green objective that the freaking game gave me and it already shows a safe zone to get too then it should stay green in this case bottom line. You start it with the green check (Your Fleet) objective and as long as you have a ship left that even leaves to the zone or gets to the zone it should satisfy the objective as a victory for you only have to have one of the 4 objectives so why does the game force it to a red objective at the end? If you don't like that objective why did the put in in as one of the 4 objectives? It's like dangling something in front of you and when you go to grab it they take it away! PS William I would like to see you make a video of destroying those 5 war ships and capture both transports so you would get 50K and wipeout 3156 sailors total so I wonder what you would bring into the battle to get that type of result?
  17. Good points to all, but what I am trying to relate to is please tell me what battle allows you to do that of which you say would be ridiculous? For example, correct me if I am wrong but if you capture one of those transports you get 25K, plus the ship, as a trophy. If you don't capture one of them you don't get that ship and you don't get the 25K for this mission has no money in the reward unless you capture a transport so what are you saying if I capture a 5th rate war ship which I would get as a trophy in this bonus which won't give any money for doing it that way if I don't get one of those transports so I wonder why you would think something like this would be ridiculous and you call it an exploit to save your fleet? There is no battle in the entire game that would allow you to just leave and win so your point makes no sense to me. All battles have an objective or a few of objectives. Sometimes you only have to get at least one of them to get a victory or you need all of them. If you happen to wipe out the entire enemy then you get an instant victory if you just have to grab and go same thing applies once you get to where they want you to go whether you have a active ship in the battle or in the safe zone for you to win. There are times when I capture ships or even my ships that get badly damaged I send them to the safe zones and they retreat for I don't want the enemy to capture them or sink them granted when I get to the harbor I will have to pay bucks to repair them. If I have a ship that has a repair kit then I do it in the battle so those are the ships that will do the work in the battle for me. The first time I ever did this battle I took my ships and went far left and swooped around to one of those transports it took all three of my ships to capture just one of those transports but by the time I did that those 5 enemy ships were on my tail so I sailed my 3 ships plus that one transport to the safe zone (border) and was surprised the game victory didn't happen for I stupidly brought a transport that had 390 sailors on it, thinking I would transfer them to a ship I was trying to capture but that ship was too slow and I forgot about until all my ships were retreated in the safe zone I still had that ship in the battle so what happened was all the enemy ships went to it and then wiped out the 390 and the second that happen I got a victory. So I am thinking when I do that battle again I will test two things get one of the transports to gain the 25K and or just get one of the war ships and retreat to the north like where I won the first time and see if I win either way so one way would give me 25K but the other way would give me no money so if that is so what you are telling me makes no sense.
  18. I actually tried that in one battle can't remember which one but I can tell you it fails unless you go to the forward border passing the enemy can be a safe zone but just to pop in the battle and retreat to either side or back would auto fail so that type of exploit that you state won't apply. Easy is not the point, when the game informs you the task is too great save your fleet well that's what I am talking about. Were not all like you that would wipe out everything on the ocean in every single battle. There are times when the game tells you to retreat and save your fleet and we are not talking about every single battle that is in the campaign that when you retreat it would be as an exploit for that won't work anyway. There are some sea battles were you can hit and run and get away and I am sure for you, you'll be the one that goes way beyond that but don't knock it if some others just want to do one of the objectives the game gives you or they earned it and wants to conserves their Navy to fight another day. The great wonder of this game is, there are so many variables to deal with for each of us in the campaign which can make all our Navies different so for you to say it would be ridiculous I wonder whom really is?
  19. I feel for you. I happen to have a pretty good Navy by this point so that is probably why I can win it. My only main problem with this battle for almost two months now is that they still have not fixed the issue of when I capture those 4 ships instead of sinking them they never show up in the goods report though they did show up in the statistics report which is weird but they don't show up in my harbor and I am amazed that in nearly all other sea battles when I capture a ship they always appear in the statistics and goods report and appear in my harbor as a trophy but not in this battle. If you look at the Britain and American Campaign how many sea battles are in it so what I am trying to relate to may not be the best but I would think whatever programming code or formula is going on in most battles works but not is this one when it comes to capturing ships. I mean I am not slamming them they said they will fix it I was just wondering why so long and when I sent a report about the Margaret ship of when you captured it the ship still behaved as though it was an enemy AI ship and made that mission hard to win they fixed it pretty quick.
  20. There was a minor patch today so I am not thinking this might be it however just pointing out I played it and captured again all four of the war ships plus the one transport that didn't sink and in the statistics report it showed I captured 4 and it only showed 1 of their transports did sink so when I looked at the goods report it only showed Senora the transport ship that I captured and it did not show any of the 4 war ships I captured though. In my harbor senora was there and all of my 7 ships which were the ones in the battle came back so for me the only bug is why can't I get those 4 war ships in the goods report so they will show up in my harbor? When I look back to when I first played this mission the game only gave me back 2 of my 7 ships so at least now I get back my 7 plus this time senora but still not the 4. Just a note, by capturing senora and about 5 infantry units my prisoner pool jumped up from 100 to over 1100 in the harbor.
  21. If you have not went to phase two I can confirm you must send all your ships to that zone in order to win unless of course you totally wipe out the enemy. Just sending the transport to the zone will not end the battle that is fact! save your fleet is not pointless not everybody would be as good as you to wipe out the enemy in every single battle and there are some battles where you hit and run to save your fleet unless it's you playing that will always wipe out the enemy and you must think everybody else can do the same as your saying in this battle and I am saying in some battles including this one we don't have to wipe out the enemy in order to win.
  22. If you are currently playing your game are you talking about the actual battle I am talking about for you will see 4 objectives. Each Transport is an objective so that is two objectives, the other two objectives is (eliminate the fleet) and (save your fleet) that accounts for four objectives and a person only needs to have one of them to win this bonus mission. If your great then you can have all four objectives but some of us are not that great so when the battle starts don't tell me you don't see that you already have one of those objectives completed for that is your fleet? For you to be in that battle don't tell again that you don't see that the game shows you were to retreat? One time, the AI captured two of my ships sunk the other one it just blew up from all that firepower from those 3rd rates so I only had 1 ship and the game said something like great now we can retreat and showed where to go and what I am saying now is when I go there I still fail and for the objective (save your fleet) was green but in the end it turned to red there are times when winning battles this game has a red x instead of green x when indeed you had captured a ship or did an objective so it screws it up and so many things on the end battle report is not correct which I know this is EA. I seem to always disagree with you about retreated ships being sunk maybe a DEV could speak on this? I always retreat them and anchor them and they come back to the harbor and in nearly most battles I retreat them and I don't lose them in the camp, heck the game in certain battles always tells you to retreat or take it to a certain area and get it off the map so I have no clue of what you mean so I may agree to disagree. I thank you for letting me know about disembark and how you like to do that mission if Treasure Fleet. When the battle starts click the objectives and if you don't see four objectives now then I don't know what to say or even how about when you win it as you did you should have seen that you had 4 green checkmarks in the 4 boxes that represent those 4 objectives and all I am saying is for us players that don't want to risk our fleet with a battle such as this or maybe pick off 1 of two ships and besides when you are already start out with an objective already filled then if we treat we should be able to do that when the game tells us to do that so I did and it went to that area and the game changed from green to a red objective and I failed
