CKA is about the only ones that an alliance with you. The only ones that alliance is good for is you. Your part of our problem.

A little sales math lesson since you seem dumbfounded by that as well, There is no such thing as %200 markup. The ships cost 208k each and 22k to list. I sold them for 435k. %48 markup. Id explain the math, but you probably wouldn't get it. Thats 1/5 the price of a player built Connie that will do the same damage in a PB. Besides you guys had no problem buying them, you must have liked the price. Oh, and I wish your group would stop trying to make it about me , the other 75% of the GB players who dont feel that we should have screwed over the BLACK clan like you guys did, and the new players you have no problem insulting in game. Thanks for the info. I dont mind waiting , I'll wait in the open world for an eternity for someone to pop out of the battle exit screen they're hiding in, hehe. In that regard I think the ring itself is a good idea . But I dont see a need for it to shrink like it does. Maybe just surround the battle area , and make it a one way door. You cross it and your out type of thing. I look forward to the changes that will effect port battles as well.

First off , I'm enjoying the game and its development very much at this point. But a couple things are out of place or need addressing IMO. Port Cap battle ring. Dumbest thing in the world. Serves no purpose other than to screw good fights. Last night we were well on our way to handing our opponent their collective ass. Didn't realize they were playing to the "magic ring of floating death" and many of us found ourselves out of the ring and lost the battle. Had we not had to deal with this totally immersion killing aspect , we would have clearly won. It screwed an awesome fight.I know, some of you are going to jump in here with the canned "LTP" leg humper responses. But ask yourself first if you really want to champion an argument for something that does not exist now or , Im sure, in the age of sail. Empty port rolls from the other side of the world. Kind of tired of checking in at the prescribed server (US) prime time and finding that ports were rolled empty from players from the other side of the world while we (or whichever side) were sleeping/ working. WWIIOL had this problem and people got fed up and left ..IN DROVES. Literally , went from 2k+ player to less then 500. I don't think the system they installed helped at all, it shrank after that even but that's another whole topic. Anyways point being the port capture conditions need to evolve into something ..different. I don't know if diplomacy or whatever on the horizon is going to address this. But it needs fixing IMO. Cant wrap my head around the gottawins that feel good about empty port rolls. Personally I've been involved in a few , but quite frankly am going to avoid those now as they make one feel like they just rolled a little old lady. AGW- 11 About maybe 1/2 dozen unclanned that runs with us.

No problems connecting to any US server as I'm on a 50 meg connection as it should be.No problems on my end without a doubt. I've never gone out of my way to play on eu servers due to the inherent issues many , if not most have always had with the connection quality. Even if sporadic. This is nothing new or ground breaking here. i've been gaming since the early 90's in many different sandbox, mmo, and other types of games ,and that has improved very little if at all. Passing it off on any particular connection when crossing that distance is silly.

Not everyone shares your connection success to a server across the ocean.

If you nix the US servers all together, you'll lose another big chunk of players. You best think it through.

Meh, who cares. Chickens run when the going gets tough. PVP1's US pop zergs over to PVP2 , some cant handle it. Plenty of us still there having fun.

White listing a forum account to a server(s) , not owned by Steam ,is not a hard thing to do. Steam has nothing to do with that function. I can certainly understand how some here would feel something like this a threat to their faction anonymity when they post. But it would bring a higher level of understanding , and definitely a lower level of trolling understanding ones position on any given subject. (smiley added for PC correctness)

I think it would be helpful to not only display each persons forum name , but also the country or faction they play in game. It would make discussions more understandable knowing from what side of the fence someone is making a comment or suggestion from in any given thread.
