  1. It's amazing that you're still crying over that too. You guys really are quite sad and I enjoyed myself immensely. Your win seemed like more of a cultural loss to me. Since you're so concerned about my ships I'll let you know I replaced that Cerberus about 20 seconds after the battle ended. Thanks for the concern, but I highly suggest you stick to role playing like you're in the actual Royal Navy instead of "flaming". "Go back to CoD, kid" lol
  2. Heh, you shoulda seen what I had to say to them to get them to actually fight us AFTER the PB.
  3. Go back to CoD, kid! - A British sailor heard at the scene.
  4. Way to take what I said the complete wrong way.
  5. I'm not Italian but I see a bunch of them in-game. No reason they can't have their own sub forum.
  6. Just re-linking this so we can be added to the OP.
  7. I dislike that you have to strip a ship at all to sell it. Just let me sell it with everything on it for an increased price.
  8. Call them whatever, I guess. Squadrons, Fleets, etc. The important thing is we show the devs collectively as a community we'd like bigger group sizes.
  9. I think the in-game group of six in incredibly limiting, especially when you have about 10-20 people on who play together. I propose that there is either a flat increase of group numbers from 6 to 10 or the creation of "Raid Groups" like other MMOs have with a hard limit of 25 ( enough for a port battle ). Discuss.
  10. When you're used to games, like EVE, where your organization is literally thousands of people, then a 250 limit is childs play in comparison. I don't think one group should be limited just because another cannot handle it.
  11. Are you seriously going to go to semantics over griefing people? Trust me, there is power gaming and there is griefing. People who question dumb crap like that are either doing it as a justification for their actions or are genuinely dumb.
  12. This sounds a lot like e-sports, which tends to make games very unfun. I dont really see it having a place in this kinda game since the goal is more gain territory based than who has the best KDR.
  13. As a griefer myself, I got this game because I loved Sid Meiers Pirates and Assassins Creed Black Flag. And I like old naval sail boats. While pissing other people off in an MMO sandbox is fun and funny, I mainly just want to sail pretty ships and shoot cannon balls at other pretty ships. If my ( and others ) intention were solely to grief, Id just play an F2P game. Not everyone is a griefer, but some people are assholes.
  14. IMO, if you wanted to make Pirates something different, they should have been put in the game as something different from the very beginning. Now that it is a faction pretty much indistinguishable from any other, going back now may cause a lot of friction. Me personally, and only speaking for myself, am open to anything the devs might like to try. New experiences and stuff like that. However, what I cannot abide is players with a chip on their shoulder trying to shout down how Pirates should be just so that it fits in their own little world.
  15. I sincerely doubt people pay $40 for a niche game genre just to grief. People just play differently than you.
  16. You're reallllly gonna hate that my clan has 3rd Rates already then and working towards 2nds.
  17. Creating a virtual hugbox because some people lack any kind of thick skin for dealing with others certainly won't fix any kind of underlying issues of people who are professional victims.
  18. By taking some kind of misplaced moral high road and trying to squash dissent on what YOU personally think is offensive, you are claiming said monopoly. Get off your high horse and let people be. I'm sorry your panties got in a bunch but that's simply life.
  19. If you don't increase clan size limit, all that's gonna happen is the really big groups are going to have several 250 sized that STILL work together. Essentially all you do is create a minor annoyance.
  20. Quit being so sensitive. You don't have a right to be unoffended.
  21. I think banning people, who paid $40 for a niche game, is a step in the wrong direction and sends a very wrong message. This kind of stuff must be dealt with I guess, especially because people like to whine over piracy like it's the return of the black plague, but flat out banning people from your game just because they saw the opportunity to get theirs is not how devs should deal with it. If you ask me, this shouldn't be an issue in the first place. I'll willingly admit I've done it to people, I've seen others do it a bunch. You put the mechanic in there and this is how people use it. At the very least if you're going to let people be hugboxing carebears, let pirates do it to each other. Everyone whines about how they have to be different from the other factions and here is the perfect chance.
