I can't see a single post from anyone in here claiming such. Every post ive read is more about the community, and fears about this game turning into other dead games because of exploits like this one. The argument is, if this is not come down heavy on. To demonstrate to the community that such exploits that break the fundamentals of the game are not punished harshly they it encourages people to do the same/similar or even worse exploits in the future. This is about taking a stand as a community and stating we dont want players in this game who subtract from it. We want players in this game that add to it.

I bath in spanish tears.... So firstly, you want to complain about timers over and over. The timers are set to whom has purchased the flags. This is the EU server ey? So what server should the Oceanic guys play on? This game if meant for everyone. It is massively insulting and shows your arrogance to think the most populated server in this game can not be used by everyone throughout the world. Do you see Australians complain about your timers? Or do you see Australians in your port battles? Waking up early and taking the fight to you? Also now you claim 'British are weak anyway, they are taking undefended ports' THEY ARE YOUR TIMERS! So you want to complain about our timers? and how we dont want a fair fight. Yet your not even willing to fight on the timers YOU SET. Then to come on here and claim the spanish have something to smack talk about is why i say your delusional. Now i just see its ALL spin and propaganda to keep your troops fighting for for you, to protect your measly assets. Spanish leadership screwing over their own nation, not a new occurrence. Why not abandon your capital again and head to hmmmm lets see maybe Bermuda? Ask the US to port hop up to Around Charleston? Then you can be elite pvp mercenaries from Bermuda! I wouldnt be surprised if this was the next plan of the Spanish leadership.

Plenty old enough, fan of Monty python I agree it has to be prevented somehow, but as i stated in the previous thread. The solution is more complicated than only letting a higher rank player purchase the flag, as someone could just play on their alt for a few days and then the exploit is open again. The devs are busy at the moment with the upcoming content patch, and untill a proper solution to fully stop this exploit is found. It should be a tribunal offence and in my belief it should be a ban offense. I would be saying the same for any other nation player doing this, especially British. Well in your last post it was about port timers, also again your diverting this topic. While i totally agree with you on the usage of alts, i believe that this thread should stay on topic about THIS offense and shouldnt be derailed.

Firstly to try to lighten this offense by saying 'port in the middle of no where' is so misleading. It was important due to it being in range to many of our ports, which dont have timers set. This is why the spanish were defending it so much. Secondly, we got the port today. Thirdly, its not about what port it is, where it is, or who did it for what reason. It is a game breaking exploit, than if not responded to it will be done again and again. I think majority of people in the naval action community view dont want some one who used such exploits in the game. This wasnt a innocent, 'testing mechanic' action. This was orchestrated by someone who has ill intent, as shown by trying to cover up their actions by using multiple alts.

Everyone please KEEP ON TOPIC. You want to complain about port battle timer mechanics, make a new thread about it. Or even better add to the one's already made a few weeks ago

Im going to be viewed as bias im sure. This isnt about leniency, and being timid in my opinion. We know this is game breaking, the person who did it knew it was game breaking. They are not the first people to think of doing this at all. They are the first person to do it though. As stated a player like this is not wanted in our community. I wont weigh in with specific judgement, all i really want is the true offended caught for this. Follow the gold, if that doesnt produce then follow the ip and if that doesnt produce follow the credit card information to purchase the accounts. The person behind all this, and their main account needs to discovered and named. Or this is just a fruitless exercise.

This is the issue though, a good catch of a exploit would be going "Hey devs we had this idea and were thinking of doing it, it is a exploit and want to let you know it can be abused." Using said exploit and then letting the people who it was used against to report it is not productive to the game in any way. Then in said thread where it is reported by the people it was used on, defending said actions by randomly claiming they have had exploits used against them, or the game is in alpha and needs to be broken in a sense. Is scum.

Unfortunately i highly doubt their will be a solution anytime soon to a exploit like this. The devs have their hands full with so many other things. A big ban hammer im sure is the only short term solution to this, to make sure any copy cats will have to add to the development funds for the game if they chose to use this exploit.

Literally the day before the first council meeting the last Spanish port was captured in central America. Didnt have time to talk? Well can i tell you something. We love this game, and want this game to succeed, and been working our butts off to try to make a safe place for spanish players to trade and farm. This is where the pride comes in though, ask the devs how many players you have? I bet its similar level to the swedes. Yet because you started the game with historical ports you thought you were a bigger than you truly were. And get insulted if any port is taken from you. - How you couldnt see a 3 way deal between Britain, the US and Spain, having clear cut borders and no more port battles wouldnt benefit your nation. But your pride got ahead of you. I have felt so sorry for all your diplomats, they have worked hard to try to come to deals with us. Yet every time it falls through becasue of a handful of officers not agreeing with them. Honestly at this point im tired of this, i have literal spent around 20 hours of my life talking to spanish diplomats, and got no where! Due to short sighted officers in your nation. I will be spending much more than 20 hours now, having fun, sinking your ships and taking your ports.
