Day to day won't change, I doubt where I live could be a target for them. However he could of snuck a bomb into any major U.S city to detonate at the first sign of war, or have one sitting on a cargo ship ready to go to hit San Fran, hit the Panama Canal. Not exactly hard to sneak stuff into the U.S
Not to worried, my actions don't impact things on an international scale so why stress.

I hunt solo the majority of the time, if I see an ally that needs help against long odds I try and assist. Occasionally I pair up with somone if they don't mind my hearing issues.
I love large battles, but hate uneven fights( ganks) simply due to how boring they are.

I still contend that radical changes every six months is not a good way to develop software. It should be done incrementally with small changes that allow the product to evolve towards release. Instead, these big changes will introduce new problems, requiring new patches and more reworking. There will be players that will definitely be looking for ways to exploit any new game mechanics, looking for ways to cheat, which will lead to more radical new changes for the game. Over and over again.
Instead of evolving the game towards release I feel like the game is just spinning its tires in the mud and will stay forever in "early access".The devs have mentioned the possibility of multiple wipes of various types since the beginning. With at least 1 final wipe of all assets ( excluding rank and crafting XP) before release.
Why are so many shocked at this prospect, did you not realize what you bought into?

The grind for a lot of players may not as been enjoyable, especially for those who can't spend endless hours a day playing. They could really piss of some players if they wipe XP. That and for a long time the devs stated they want avoid an XP wipe if it's at all feasible.
The risk may not be worth it in the eyes of the dev team.

Why make such a drastic change that favors to the small minority of the playerbase.
There is a reason the PVE server never took off, so how does limiting PVP benefit the game.

This to makes sense to me.
Keep certain items only available in the PVE and PVP sections. Helps stimulate trade.

I know sir Texas has mentioned that there was an indication of a ( possible) PVE only server at launch, but don't remember the admin stating that.
Can you clear that up Admin, would hate to see confusion on the issue, so if it's possible to tell us, is there a planned PVE only server at or around launch?

The game is allready dead and it is allready too late until the promised fix of diplo mechanic and pirate mechanics is going to be fixed.
Devs have ignored the issue for far to long, any words they say are hollow at this point. Will be interesting to see what it looks like when I'm able to get back to it in a couple months.

I'm stuck on a 3 month hiatus due to RL issues, been waiting for some of this stuff too. By the time I get back will have to learn how to play all over again lol.

Good examples, I think you got all the parts covered. The only one I can think of is maybe Merchant officer that can increase cargo space.
Don't see how an officer could add cargo space, maybe a merchant officer could organize the load to be more efficient to reduce speed or handling penalties for a full cargo load if those are added at some point.

I know I will be chastised for this, but my original worry that this game will be for work focused seems to be happening.
To much micromanagement is a bad thing, and please don't throw another game as an example of how it works. I'm sure anyone could do the exact opposite as well.
We might as well start adding ammunition and food limits on ships if we go down this path.

Click on "Put or wiev ships on sale" abd you should see it on your list coming up probably.
It's not there, there is no idication I even had the ship other than the message saying I put the ship on sale.

Would love to hear further explanation as what heroic feats are.
Also when voting is open, how long will the polls be open for? A few hours, a day? I can see a lot of complaints from players feeling cheated if votes come up and they can't vote due to their time zone. I would suggest at least a 12 hour window for casting votes, possibly preferable 24 hours.

PVP server 1 euro.
On 4/12 my redeemable exceptional renomme was accidently put on sale in KW.
Waited the 9 days to get it back, and I had no notification of the ship being sold, and my ship has not been put back and I received no payment indicating a sale So I'm stuck wondering what happened to my ship. I do have an outpost there with 2 slots open for ships.
I did check on it several times and TBH for got about it after a week.
Not sure if I did something wrong, or it's a misunderstanding on my part as to what happened.
Any info would be appreciated, not sure if it helps but filed a bug report today when I noticed the issue.

Stop posting pve vs pvp topics please.
PvP provides 3x xp and money compared to pve. People get up to 15,000 xp and 500-800k gold for port battles.
People don't PvP for other reasons and giving more rewards for PvP wont change anything. You can have 10x reward for pvp and you will still get nothing in a 10v1 gank losing your ship. The majority of people talking about PvP rewards also were against anti gank 1.5 BR limiters. Hardcore pvpers were all supporting 1.5 limits.
PS. You pvp to hear lamentations of enemy women not because you need rewards.
I think the issue is for many it doesn't feel that small PVP battles are worth it.
I rarely find myself in large PVP battles and when I engage in 1 vs 2 or 1vs 1 the rewards don't seem that different from engaging AI.

It seems to me you has forgotten the Spanish issue. My proposal will be to solve this problem with 4 Spanish Capitals, all of them must be cities not conquerable.
La Habana, San Juan, Cartagena de Indias, Veracruz.
This change will solve the problem in the historical view. As well very important if you want to balance the most important faction in the Caribbean Sea. We are the low player population in the game, but the most important in the history of Caribbean. Please DEV´s do something a little bit more historic. This won´t a big damage for the others factions.
And please,.... Pirates can not have a capital, or any others priviledges, Pirate Faction have to be the worst place to play. As it was in those times.
