Stow Aways and Marooned Sailors etc

I wonder whether having these scenarios crop up with a choice of what to do would add some character to the game?

Also missions to carry important persons etc.

 

The idea would be that after you leave port you find out at some random point somebody has stowed away. You must make a decision to absorb the young urchin into your crew, maroon the boy, take the boy back to port, make him walk the plank, drop off a t next port etc

After reading his story of course. Perhaps a community driven story that gets longer and longer lol as he travels from port to port.
