Npc fleet variety

Recommended Posts

90% of fleet are

or 5-7 victory-sancti /pavels

o 4-6 frigates

or very small groups of 2-3 brigs. or privateer/lynx

What lack is variety,  single   frig fleet is very rare, i never saw a single bellona for example,   or consti or pavel.  i understand that historically a victory not where going around alonebut  is also absurd that you see 4-5 victory together and never dunno a victory+2/4 frigs of escort.

is much more fun at list if you alone find an equal match  1 on 1, than fight multiple annoyng circle around inferior ships.

suggestion. add more expecial bigger ships alone or with a small escort of frigs   like pavel+ frigs  bellona+frigs etc

agreed another problem is that the npc's are farming each other leaving the smallest ones and the biggest ones.

maybe some Nation specific  ones:

1vic 2 Bello 2 Trinco and a Pickle +Cerberus.

Consti + Essex

Lynx + Rattlesnake

and so on

Id suggest more Single frigates and in 2-3s

And also change the structure of the more "powerfull" fleets.

like instead of a fleet with a 5-7 Victory/Santissima/Pavel give it 1 Santissima 1 vic 1-2 Pavels and 3-5 Bellonas (Third rates)

Since the Third rate should be the by far most common Liner.

And Frigates where the largest ship to commonly be serving solo (Wich is what made them very popular among daring commanders that wantd to rise in the ranks)

Daring Commanders often wanted a powerfull frigate (5th rate with 12-24lb guns)

more then they wanted to get a liner.

Since a Frigate would give them a better chance to get Pricemoney / glory for themselves instead of having to slave around at blockades or wait in ports and when they finally saw action they where in large formations with Admirals getting the glory.
