Thomas Blackwell
I like the Lynx, but that ad makes me cringe. "The British knew the prowess of her kind, and respected it" Yeah, they liked it so much they captured it.

Robert Danforth
I like the Lynx, but that ad makes me cringe. "The British knew the prowess of her kind, and respected it" Yeah, they liked it so much they captured it. Captured without a shot fired, even. I'm pretty sure I've posted this before, but this is me and some former co-workers aboard the Lynx: I'm the one who is obviously a fan of the Age of Sail.

Robert Danforth
Would have been better had we had any wind, but we did get to see some dolphins following us.
Prater
I like the Lynx, but that ad makes me cringe. "The British knew the prowess of her kind, and respected it" Yeah, they liked it so much they captured it. The King Aurthur music was kinda overkill/melodramatic as well, but otherwise really liked the video. There are some really cool shots of the Lynx, especially towards the end with the clouds in the background.
Prater
I always forget how big these ships really are. The Lynx looks like a small ship in the game. But look how big it is out of the water. Draft is 8ft (that doesn't count the part above water). Look at the Lynx compared to the trucks next to it. http://www.privateerlynx.com/1999photogalleryimages/19994270.jpg
Leviathan
I agree. In a game it's easy to sometimes lose the perspective of how big these ships are. I remember the first time seeing a Surpise in game and how massive it seemed compared to the ships like the Lynx, but after sailing everything for a while they tend to seem smaller. It's easy to forget how big the Constitution actually is as well

SCL
You guys need to stand next to HMS Victory it does make the other ships shown seem pretty small in comparison however you would expect that from a 1st rate. The USS Constitution is pretty huge aswell looking at Leviathans picture have yet to see it in person though to truly get the scale
