Sir Nukem
By then end of this development process... -Battles will have Introductory Cut-scenes showcasing your ship in all its' glory as it prepares for battle (Sails going down, Cannon Doors Opening, Men stacking cannon balls) -Entering a dock will bring me to a loading area where I see my ship ported, and as I purchase or load things, my crew or workforce will be shown loading the supplies. I will be able to automate ships to go on trade routes without me and assign AI escorts. Or send caravans by land. -As I sail I will see my crew hauling in fish (if fishing) and men cleaning the decks, savage tribes will be seen gathering on the shores if I pass by closely and throwing spears at my ship. Fires will periodically illuminate on the shores at night. -During battle, my cannons will recoil, men will be pulling on ropes, and stormy seas will reduce battle visibility. I can't wait!!!! **5 Star this topic and keep it in the forefront of their minds! Go Dev Team! -Sir Nukem Edited May 30, 2017 by Sir Nukem

Sir Nukem
Nope! Will be like 5-7 second flying in camera that just passes by both fleets! No Skipping.

Hethwill
I would play a sequence of docking, having to navigate treacherous port shallows in a skiff or launcher or even having to take the schooner up bays. Like TransOcean dockings but way better of course.

Rebel Witch
This is all great stuff but i predict that Naval Action will never break the glass ceiling of high pop, long enduring MMO's without players being able to conquer AND keep their own ports. Right now it is simply players conquer ports for NPC colored dots, it gets old. While players fighting for their own empires never gets old!!!
Sir Nukem
I'm not picking up what you're saying? You can conquer and keep ports.
