  1. MUST FIX AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Subject: AI FLEET Problem: AI Fleet Members WILL board as a first option when left on Free Mode or set to Destroy. How to fix: MUST be " DO NOT BOARD" fleet option when issuing orders. Reason: I have a Indefatigable fully crewed. If its' crew out numbers an enemy AI, his FIRST action to "Destroy" the selected AI or when set to "Free Mode", he will stop and board. Costing me thousands in lost crew, or possibly worse....loosing the entire ship! This needs to be fixed asap.
  2. I'm not picking up what you're saying? You can conquer and keep ports.
  3. Nope! Will be like 5-7 second flying in camera that just passes by both fleets! No Skipping.
  4. By then end of this development process... -Battles will have Introductory Cut-scenes showcasing your ship in all its' glory as it prepares for battle (Sails going down, Cannon Doors Opening, Men stacking cannon balls) -Entering a dock will bring me to a loading area where I see my ship ported, and as I purchase or load things, my crew or workforce will be shown loading the supplies. I will be able to automate ships to go on trade routes without me and assign AI escorts. Or send caravans by land. -As I sail I will see my crew hauling in fish (if fishing) and men cleaning the decks, savage tribes will be seen gathering on the shores if I pass by closely and throwing spears at my ship. Fires will periodically illuminate on the shores at night. -During battle, my cannons will recoil, men will be pulling on ropes, and stormy seas will reduce battle visibility. I can't wait!!!! **5 Star this topic and keep it in the forefront of their minds! Go Dev Team! -Sir Nukem
  5. At approx 7:23 p.m CST, my game crashed. The crash support was submitted when I logged back in. However, the crash caused the loss of my ship due to it happening in the very beginning of a fleet battle. Is there anyway to be compensated, since the crash report should give time stamp and proof? Thank you! Cpt Sir Nukem ****UPDATE**** at 9:40 P.M CST, myself as well as teammates are experiencing a bug that makes it so you can only sail forward. NO turning, NO shooting. Only take sails up or down, assign crew. These things are happening in FLEET BATTLES. This is causing extreme upset because our money is at stake. We just lost 250,000 in assets because people are getting kicked, or ships are bugged and sail right into enemies.
  6. Thanks for the thread link RedTeamSpy, that's helps a lot to know, it's also a much better reason than "It's not realistic" (as Jodgi said). To which I'll reply, this is a game, not real life. And if you want it realistic, than they should make it take weeks to months to travel these routes, as it REALLY was, and your crew should die the longer you spend out on the open water...since that's what really happened. It's not "realistic" to spend 40 or 500 gold on a log, nor several other concepts in this game. You have no argument against it. Even the devs believe the resources as they currently are are unacceptable and serving as a place holder as the posted thread from Spy said. Stop defending it.
  7. I'm not sure how to get this system to work better, I'm not an mmo economy expert. But, the fact that a product is produced by a harbor, in this case, Fir Logs or Stone blocks (for around 40-80 and 11-15 gold respectively), and are both needed in Every ship build, and are each bought completely out of every harbor (I've personally checked 12 every time), and if your are "lucky" they are put back on sale for 200-500 gold a piece..... That system in play seams broken. The fact that 1 player (not saying there is only one), with a hundred thousand (very easy to get with missions paying out 11-20k a piece now) can buy ALL of a base material to crafts ships, affecting 900+ people..... Something I feel needs to change. Maybe Ports/Harbors can have Infinite Resources, it's just the price goes up when players buy, but goes back down as the Port produces or players sell to Port.
  8. I like the minimalist approach as well...I think the concept and work behind this was great...but i like relying on sounds and visual ques this game has to offer.
  9. WilsonMG has said it best so far. Early Release or not...this game has momentum with its player base/community. This will take a big hit if people don't feel at least an attempt was made to say, "Hey, we gotta wipe this, sorry, but here's what we can give you to at least soften the blow." as opposed to taking the stance of "Well it's happening, it's early access. Too bad." (Not saying that's the Devs stance at all) So while yes, it's their right to do so... The attention and player base they have is worth working around an alternative.
  10. I know there are changes planned from what I can read...but can you clarify what you intend to adjust as far as the Group XP? As it currently is, to play with 1 or 2 friends, everyone makes less XP than if we just solo'd missions. Playing Mission solo, near total AI Boat Destruction, I'll get 270-300xp. With friends, same mission brings in 80-105 xp. They are great guys...but not worth tripling the time it takes to rank.
