  1. Un système d'alliances ou une diplomatie organisée "in game" pourraient peut-être apporter quelque chose, en évitant les super-blocs. 

    Des coalitions figées auront l'effet inverse. Aucun effet de rééquilibrage si une faction du jeu devient hégémonique. Les joueurs rejoindront et renforceront cette faction encore plus facilement. 

  2. This cheat result is the unbalance of the game, and this unbalance is durable, written in the code, unavoidable by game rules. Cheat would be removed, developers wrote that the known issues will be corrected ASAP (this means, we don't know when).

    But whatever the wipe, whenever the wipe, there will always be a strong faction. We knew Brits + US at server merge, then SWE, now Russia. Whatever this faction will be next time, the strong faction is deemed to be stronger, the weak factions are deemed to be weaker, down to game over. This unbalance should be reversed if developers want game durability. It seems that this is not the plan.

    We are, by now, at the game over point. We reached that point more rapidly, because of the cheat, but this is unavoidable that we would have reached it. Yesterday evening, a Russian squad camped in front of KPR. No one came to fight them. This is pointless. However, I tried to test a fight, with a useless Cerberus I got. I did not do the fight for win, or for fun, just for test.. According to Developers advices, my Cerberux was a oak/oak one, we all know that rare woods must be rare. My 32pd carronades did not penetrate the Wasa. At touching range, during boarding, I got “7 hull” from a broadside of 13 (50%), meaning that half bumped at touching range These hull shots got no impact on the side bar… 

    By the way, the do not mean that VCO, WO, RED, NN or other clans having used exploits must be banned or punished. This kind of cheating is accepted atm.

  3. The only question asked here is: are "rare ships" adding fun to game?... My personal answer is no. I am so lucky and feel so good seeing all my favorite ships hidden behind the permit wall (obliging me to go to patrol zone, where I rarely find any fun, or never to sail again my favorite ships). Some are in addition hidden behind random: no way to get them anymore.

  5. Autre chose qui me parait très contestable. Pour éviter le "alt-farming", on ne distribue plus de "medals" que dans la "Daily Patrol Zone".

    Autrement dit, le style de jeu est de nouveau imposé: vas dans la zone ou joues à autre chose…

    Combien de joueurs allons-nous de nouveau perdre par cette imposition, déjà testée, déjà constatée négative et remise sur le tapis de nouveau?

    Par contre, le nombre maximum d'outposts reste notoirement insuffisant, comme indiqué par les joueurs dans de nombreux posts, mais là, aucune réaction, aucune mention, aucune visibilité sinon: crée des alts pour aller partout… Sinon, crées des outposts pour les mines et le craft, pour la défense des frontières et vas dans la zone de patrouille avec un alt.

    Not sure of we would have to recreate our account, unless the wipe is complete, including XP and knowledges, which are totally lost when an acccount is reset.

  7. Too much DLC in game change it completely.

    For playing NA, you just need an iron mine, a coal mine and a forge. 

    No more need of RVR, nor clans, nor economy features. Marks turn to be useless, you'll get enough easily in patrol zone.

    Simply, this could turn to be fun, but I have to admit that this is not the game I chose to buy some time ago.

    But I appreciate that clans finally turned to be useless. 

  8. I won’t enter in this Pay to win / pay to win time dispute. New DLC’s will be introduced, battles will be invaded by Rutabaga ships for some weeks, as they were before Wasa only, Bello only or Requin only battles. That’s a predictable fact and we will have to live with it. I noticed around hundred player left the “war” server since this patch pre-announcement, less than 300 yesterday evening, compared to less than 400 one week ago (which we have to live with, or to leave with).

    Pay to win (time) have other development areas in this game. If you pay for several accounts, even without DLC, you will always get the wood built you prefer, whatever the nations which control the “good” ports. Just move or reset an account when port changes owner.

    And we know that good upgrades are more important than good woods.

    I won’t speak about new DLC’s, I have no experience using them or fighting them, but let’s use existing DLC experience. I am personally more anxious about ships hidden below RNG screens (chests), than by DLC’s. For the moment, players can use Niagara to counter Requins or Hercules. Well skipped, this is OK. With this RNG mechanic, to get a Niagara, a player shall have to conquer a chest by PVP missions, then to have some luck to get the right permit… As a consequence, may be, a lucky player could get 3 Niagara per year? I don’t know the chance to get a Niagara permit. I know that the last chest I opened after an epic event gave me just a boarding upgrade. No permit, no note, no paint… This is a bigger concern that the fact that Hercules and Requin are DLC’s: Hercules and Requin will have no opponent. May be the Cerberus, but her very big hull compared to his power makes this ship quite weak in PVP (and almost not used). With the present setup of the game, all ships that can counter DLC’s are either the same ship, other DLC’s or ships hidden by a RNG mechanic. The purpose of this RNG mechanic is to make some ships rare and valuable… The consequence is that non-DLC ships that can be used against DLC ships cannot be found.

    @admin, Answers are also lacking for Diana, Santa Cecilia, Gun Boats, which are fun. By the way, I have an “unlimited” note for Santa Cecilia: does this mean that I can redeem her after the game release?

    Le but de la patrouille solo est de fournir des victimes aux gankers de la patrouille PvP. C'est la raison pour laquelle son rayon est désormais plus réduit et c'est aussi pourquoi on ne la voit pas de l''extérieur. Il parait que deux joueurs ont réussi à atteindre la patrouille solo le même soir de la semaine dernière, ce qui est bien entendu totalement inacceptable. D'où cette action corrective imédiate pour une fois… ;)

    En conclusion: ne jamais rejoindre la patrouille solo dans un groupe de moins de 10 joueurs...

    Et tu sais par les messages"in-game" que ce n'est ni ironique, ni sarcastique. 

    Le clan NN fait du screen systématiquement pour les suédois contre les Français, que ce soit sur Rosaly la semaine dernière ou vers Puerto il y a quelques temps... Ce qui a excité quelques rancoeurs. 

    Pour la suite, on verra. Peut-être au release, peut-être avant, peut-être après. Quelle que soit mon influence sur certains joueurs français et autres, je ne veux en aucune manière me prendre la tête avec  la diplomatie dans le jeu. Elle en est absente.

    The legal answer is simple: they can't.

    They can change things only if the change do not impact specifically the DLC. A rule of the game, the environment, add other ships is possible. Removing carros from the DLC is not possible. Nerfing carros for all ships is possible.
