  1. Its like c***-block, but worse. I hit the "pve server" by accident, logged out of NA, and tried to login to the Caribbean server multiple times, only for this message to pop up.

I know that logging out of steam and logging back in will fix this, and or restarting steam, but thats a bit lame. Hopefully these server switching bugs can be resolved.

    Quick suggestion regarding Equipment Pre-Sets

Would be nice to have Equipment Pre-Sets to choose from. A quick click on a button, chose the ship and pre-set (skillbooks, guns, repairs, modules).

If everything for the Pre-Set is ready, it should be in a green text and you can apply it. If not everything is ready (not enough repairs / don't have the upgrades / ...) it's in a red text.

Maybe a total amount of 20 pre-set settings, shouldnt take up too much server capacity (though I don't really have much of an idea)

Benefits: No more time wasting of equipping a ship. Equipping guns, chosing skillbooks again, splitting and drag-n-dropping repairs, equipping modules is kinda pointless and could be sped up.

Similar example of how War Thunder did it - Pre-Sets of planes equipped

yo! we should do some warthunder together! FlyingWarlord is my ign, hit me up sometime. Good idea btw.

Don't know what Prussia or USA did for you, but your lackeys the Dutch sure were more than eager to sacrifice themselves for their overlords. This while we considered them our allies. In fact there is a rupture within Dutch nation as far as how treacherous and Ikea-submissive they like to be now and in the future. Which port you are going to steal from them as reward?

    A picture from screen battle:

there is a reason GWC left that battle. This has sparked some conversation within our great lowlands. I would just say to not retaliate, as from what I have heard most clans would like to stay friendly to France. But of course, we will defend our ports.

I admitted to playing poorly. Learned from my mistakes and now know how to fix them and what to expect from repairs. Lost my Rattle later but was able to defend majority of my friends trade ships. Later took out all of SeeQu trader brig fleet (was very negative in battle chat) and a Hercules with friends. Said GG and took the loot. It was nice getting some action in the shallows. Apart from the taunting and condescending remarks I had fun bringing back old memories of those very active nights in NA.

They recorded me and accused of cheating 😭

shrugs* cheater 🤣 tbh though it does go to show that build type and perks do matter. i know the ships they were using. nothing they couldnt lose to say the least, so oh well. but mark my words. ill be lookin out for you! o7

  7. 1.) hostility is done by taking hostility missions for the desired region under the missions tab when in a friendly harbor. You then fight an equal number of AI that give hostility based off of the number of ships you and your clan sink every mission. Hostility remains constant, if no missions are being performed, and goes down at server reset, or if enemy players sink you and your group prior.

2.) The port battle is then set up automatically 24 hours later once hostility hits 100%

3.) After a port battle victory the winning side either keeps the port, or gains the port. If the attackers win whoever's clan generated the most hostility, based off of ships sunk in hostility missions, gains the port under their name. All participants in the winning side gain victory marks. A clan may then set a port battle window time for a fee, raise and lower taxes, and various crafting xp and costs.

Fights took longer because first of all everybody chains.

lol what. how is slowing someone down making the fight take longer? in the past people would just run and defense tag literally for hours. HOURS. i once wasted 5 hours chasing one guy down. and several times i have wasted 2 hours chasing people down in battle because they would just do the stupid op mast perks and speed build.

Interesting enough the broadsides work better in Random as opposed to the rolling due to the main gun deck battery placement.

i noticed this as well! the fire rate between cannons seems to be incredibly slow. to get from bow to stern takes a long time, i dont know why this is.

nope :( Ask scottsman and hardy.

id like to see them as well. and by no means am i saying this is just your fault. this is the whole communities fault. myself included. but we can all be the change this game needs. a healthier, kinder community. at least until the game has a sustainable population.

You were not in GB nation chat the day we left. You have no idea what was said to us

fair enough. but ive been told several things by players i promise were the most toxic players to ever hit this game. literal nazis. and we persevered

Dont forget that Captain Hardy (GA) was the the one that drove us out of the Brit nation and he was the first to escape this battle after they lost 1 ship.

@Batman @Gregory Rainsborough When GA is kicked from GB EXILE will come back and be victorious again!

and here we see why this game is dying. a bunch of 1st rates kill some scrubs, to prove a point. ultimately saying either spend $30 on this game to switch nations, or quit the game. because we cant handle the thought of being in a nation with people we dont like. (hint, they will probably quit first) I like you, used to do the same thing Hachi. I saw many people quit the game to never come back. Its toxic, and I think to be the biggest reason people leave this game. @admin

    Captains

Amount of chain shot carried by a ship will be limited next patch (so called tutorial patch)
No perk will be required for use of chain (at least for now).

    Reasons

    • Historically ships carried A LOT less chain and grape compared to normal cannon balls.
    • Gameplay wise we want to bring more skill into chaining and limitation of chain will force players to conserve it, pick proper angles to destroy more sail and in general think about its use instead of current chainshot clicker heroes
    • This also means that outnumbered players will have easier time fighting against bigger groups who rely on active chaining as the ONLY tactic.

Please start thinking about new tactics and of course.... discuss.

if we limit it due to historical reasons, we must also make it do the same thing historically. such as messing up rigging, taking much longer to fix and repair, snapping spars, etc.
