European LOCATED server. International/Global playerbase. There are/were even chinese players(or so i've heard) on the server. The server is not locked to only European IPs to join it, if you set only European timers you eliminate the playerbase in a different way instead. There are problems with timers both ways. The US nation on PvP 1 being mostly US players would have trouble for example. Edit: Even if there was only EU players on PvP1, Russia for example has 9 time zones, you could probably similar timers still because of certain Russian players peak times, it can't be helped unless the timer mechanic itself is changed. And yes, i'm well aware that not all timers set in awkward times for EU players are set by or for people in other time zones, several nations are or have done it for various reasons. It's appearant that things do need to change with timers though. But anyway, This thread is NOT a port battle timer or EU people only on PVP1 type of discussion.

I quite enjoyed the fights even when i was getting my ass handed to me by the french when they first came down. The french players have been most enjoyable to fight, The pirates who fight to the last ship and then end the battle with "GG", "Fun battle" are absolutely second whether win or loss they stay the same. Anyway, Shout outs to Bougainville and Charognard! Enjoyed the fights and exchange of pleasantries i've had with you both and the other french players over the weeks.

Welcome back to the game Spain. Work hard and fight harder. Hopefully in near future fights with your nation will be similar to fights with the pirates or french. Long lasting, to the last ship and all in good spirit.

I feel this tribunal thread is starting to descend into toxic/argumentative behavior. I think this thread should be locked before this goes further. To this end i hope this is the last post. Enough threads have already gone out of control on the forums, tribunal is the last place i want to see the trend continue.

No way to prove either side. I was there, I sat in a cerb outside and was ready to chase him along with a belona and 3rd rate. To our surprise he poofed in front of us while sailing away. I believe we've found a bug with all of this, whether he knew or it was by accident it's simply word against word and nothing can be proven. I can't even begin to guess. i suppose we should probably focus on the bug aspect of it, and take it to the support part of the forums.

I'm aware of this bug, Heard of it increasingly. You can start your teleport outside a contested port and before anyone tags you, jump back into said port. Apparently which i heard of just earlier today, there is a second part to it where you can also set sail still be on teleport and keep sailing. Should probably be a bug report. Sucks that people use it.

It was not a bug exploit, You didn't set a timer when it was captured, the fact that you set it the day after means it wasn't going to come into play until after maintenance. So the capture window was any time, and it was taken.

Oh shut up already TsunamiEmperor you just keep on going spurring the war on, on both sides like always. The RAE is possibly the last clan who should talk about peace or not since you're not exactly men of peace and the majority seem to be holding some petty grudge over Panama still, the place in which some of your clan is still camping out. GB may not have been unified at that time, but us clans there enjoyed the fight(even though it was against some agreements) and learned much from the RAE and ACE and respected their fighting prowess. Even though ACE switched to pirates fairly quickly and RAE seemed to fight with a serious grudge even then. Even after that, the clan that's constantly sabotaged talks between Spain and be it with GB or the US of A, has been RAE. It's starting to become pathetic, fanning the flames is the best thing you know. Yet you hop between Spain and Pirates whichever is doing better at the time. You're not exactly speaking from a position of strength, you're like a Naval Action version of Quisling. If your goal is seeing the Spanish nation crushed in the dirt so that everyone goes Pirate, so that then the pirates become the focus and start doing worse while Spain recovers so you can jump back, or simply attempt to crush the brits out of spite for Panama, congrats you seem to be doing well. But forgive me if i don't take anything you say or write too seriously. Unfortunately your ways and the ways of the RAE are and always have heavily impacted Spain, negatively or otherwise. Well maybe if you succeed, at least we may have a map reset sometime soon because the practice of bringing nations down to one port went to far already and is still going because all other nations seem intent on making it happen to everyone else too. One of the reasons the PvP1 has stayed at stable amounts of people is PvP2 getting recruited over by certain clans on PvP1 with promise of greener pastures. So the game is in-fact losing players, it's less evident on PvP 1 than on PvP 2 though. Edit: the point about the game losing players is, that now is definitely the to stop our stupid crap so we can stop some more of the playerbase from leaving.

Again, i don't give a crap about what other nations do in GB waters, i don't mind the fight. This is a problem about Players staying in the game now. The fact that talks with the have been attempted for about 3 weeks, doesn't matter, it's taken too long. The the talks have always been hampered by the RAE doing the what they view as the same as what we did in Panama, betraying them. Also they have been hampered by the British clans viewing the RAE actions the same way RAE is STILL viewing Panama, As betrayal by a fractured nation and because of the apparent fraction refuse to talk.

Pepe, that alliance was "betrayed" before there was any type of unification in the British faction and yet you STILL hold that panama grudge from about 3 weeks ago. In Panama we learned our first fighting experiences from the prowess of the RAE and respected you for it. But you keep holding on that grudge, wanting war and keep sabotaging everyone else for selfish reasons. STOP KILLING YOUR OWN NATIONS PLAYERBASE! Please! First you screwed up the US talks and has since sabotaged GB talks. You need to learn the same thing as the British clans right now and that is there will ALWAYS be clans not agreeing with other over peace, alliances etc and will attack the faction you have agreements with regardless, until there is a nation diplomacy tool in-game. Though shit, deal with it, we all need to stop holding grudges over the clans doing it, Great Britain too.

I rightly don't care much about what the other nations are doing in or near Jamaica or other British waters, other than that they are bringing a good fight. The attempted talks with Spain however have been going on for 2-3 weeks, it's high time something actually happens either without sabotage or ignoring sabotage. If not we'll end up with people either quitting or simply doing the POTBS thing and switching between whatever nation is doing better at the time.

Honestly, if what Spain wants for peace is their Cuban ports why the heck not. If they want to take them back gradually why not. Only extra it might include for us is helping them vs the pirates so they can take them back and hold them. As i said in a post on another thread, the few Spanish clans that have always sabotaged and may keep doing so seem to me like nothing but a slight annoyance. I don't know what the considered value of those ports are to GB or that of those in the Mexican gulf, but compared to the value of keeping Spain's playerbase it can't be that important. The way i see it GB comes out on top by relaxing a little and letting Spain grow both as faction and in playerbase. Heck, the game wins. Hasn't Spain by now proven that with their sheer stubborness they can hold their own. There is no worrying about the pirates taking the south cuban ports from Spain and using it as a front against us anymore, because they took those ports from us are using them against us. Previous arguments whether they really were in the diplomatic meetings or or not, that GB take some south cuban ports to halt pirate advance towards us and/or Spain are now void. Screw taking the winning the position, i think by now at least Spain knows better than us how many ports it can defend with their playerbase. Potemkin said it before, about 6-8 ports. I think the winning position in this is that the Spanish players stay in the game. Let the RAE keep doing what they are doing. So what if all the Clans of Spain aren't united, GB has had the same problem. The problem of some clans doing the opposite of what all the other large clans want will always be an issue until a national diplomacy mechanic is made in-game. By now our frustration with being sabotaged by some of those types of clans, at least for me are very long gone.

I'm a fan of the pirate tactic, that's why i like fighting you guys! You just keep going and do your best to inflict losses. You might just manage confusion and panic while doing it too. And at the end of it you get away with tons of gold and XP whether you sink or not.

The overall salt really needs to stop, whether RP or not, before this conflict goes the Spanish way on one side or another. I have greatly enjoyed meeting people like Charognard and Luxeternae and the EDF and PEC clans in particular as they have been very courteous by battles end. I'm quite enjoying this conflict in-game because we have fine opponents on the other side. Edit: No doubt we'll be seeing each other pretty much every day in battle for a while so might as well get used to each other being around.

To be fair, I'd much rather be in the position of Spain and stay stubborn than to be in the position of Sweden and France. The Spaniards fight with the same conviction they always have and that is admirable. I could only hope that if GB ever, no matter how unlikely(or likely) anyone considers it, got brought down to only Kingston, we'd keep doing the same even if we determined we'd never take anything back. I find it disheartening that we as a nation are attempting to leave them with a minimal amount of ports, i don't enjoy the practice. Then again how do you conduct diplomacy between a nation that has previously stubbornly refused it with others during similar circumstances and a nation who is dead set to keep going until the other is forced to the table. Unfortunately or fortunately i don't think there is any being forced to the table in this game because can only ultimately lose by losing your player base, since capitals are unconquerable. Reducing someone to capital just means concentrating every single player on that faction to the their capital making resistance fiercer in the area. Unless they don't have to morale to fight, but Spain constantly having suffered setbacks most certainly does because it's no different from how it's always been. Pride is something that needs to be put aside for both nations, it's past time to let diplomacy prevail. The attacks or acts purposeful sabotage by Spanish clans to keep the war going this way, that previously happened during diplomatic meetings, can be dealt with whenever and wherever even if they were to continue, at best they are a slight annoyance even when taking or attempting to take ports. It would be fantastic to have the slate wiped clean and hopefully having learned from our mistakes have a better go at it next time, but any type of wipe seems to unlikely for the foreseeable future. On both sides we now only have ourselves to blame for the holes we dug.

I love this guy, why aint he the leader of Spain. I'd almost be ready to just let him take the entire map and forgive anything he does xD

Do feel free to take everything but Port Royal, our nations capital, you seem experienced with that sort of thing having done it twice already. That type of stuff aside, feel free, it's a sandbox after all.

I speak for myself in this but, I'm not trying to prove anything. I've been waiting for these fights since the decleration and the first one was really good so it surprised me when in Playon someone after ca 15 minutes of battle someone said it's a trap and the fleet disappeared. I'm just trying to enjoy the battles you're bringing down. Heck i thought you guys came down for PvP because you were bored in the first place, not having seen anything but single french players yet, i was especially looking forward to it. Oh well, there are more days to come.

Genuinely astounded though, what did they escape for? What happened to the battle? O.o New Edinburgh was a good one and the french players were pleasant, expected more of the same.

Lol what? Dutch beg for help? lacking in skills? Hardly. I'd never expect either from any of the factions in the Dutch nation. You clearly had no part in any of the actions down in Panama, if you did you'd have a healthy respect for the participants of the other nations.

Well he is in the only one of about 2 clans not Russian on Denmark-Norway. Arguably the Russian clans do seem to be good enough allies with the other clans in DK-NO at least, but that just should be the case between all clans in one nation, it's just seems made easier because the Russian countrymen that make up the majority seem to have a strong sense of unity. It'd be worrying if they weren't good allies to the the other clans in their own faction. Also don't really care what type of Ally SLRN(ONE clan, that was originally about a 2 hour sail away from them) were to them. As everyone already knows agreements made between just a few clans haven't exactly had a good track record because they can't be enforced on the rest of the faction.

Puppeteer this, Puppeteer that. Why does everyone have to hammer everyone else into the ground so hard they have to be "allowed to live" so players don't quit. In comparison i'd prefer the Spanish way of claiming to just keep fighting instead of being allowed to keep playing with more than just capital in exchange for never warring the perpetrator of said hammering again. DK-NO are as guilty in this as GB, except they've done it to two nations. Back to the thread topic, if there's a fight coming i'll wait for it to come, hopefully the battles will be more cordial. I'll look forward to seeing where it all goes, win or loose and keep enjoying the game. Let's not even further devolve into the blame game.

Having fought in Panama and seen the skills of the dutch even against larger and more experienced fleets, i'd never discount the dutch faction in a fight and have only respect for the fighting prowess they have previously displayed. The Swedes and French now essentially having nowhere else to go for a fight than the dutch will hopfully be good all around in terms of PvP experiences and just plain fun. It's good to see the usually quiet eastern corner of the map bristle with life and activity. Good luck to you all!
