  1. Monsieur Bougainville, A local French firework show, sponsored by DAS BOAT peace keeping events, is always a dull impressive show. Nearly as excitant as the music for the Royal Fireworks in London With regards.. captain Swieb.
  2. To Jacob Bagge, I don't know sir, that can be possible. What I see as the couse of the Dutch disease is the lack of parties to make the difference due sufficient counter acting the behavior of the, so named patriotic, Kezen party. It seems, as I have seen, there is no true will to put up a good working organisation, only the pathological desire to take the political power inside the nation, dividing it to a critical level. It seems many individual captains, placed under the bad influence of the so named democratic "liberty, equality and brotherhood" nonsence, are not able to 'read' the current political situation but, as me too, don't like to spend their time to sail with pro French Keesdogs into battle. They don't see other alternatives then raising the black flag? With regards, Swieb.. Oranje boven!
  3. I am afraid someone of the Batavian Republic has informed you wrongly. The servants of the United Provinces do not serve the French and their Batavian lapdogs
  4. France and her Swedish guarddog.. growing bigger and bigger.
  5. Remarkable question. France is now at the east and the west border.. that is not a fantasy, can be seen at the map.
  6. You mean the impressive Batavian fleet? May-be too busy to fire salutes to the French and other patriotic peace keeping nonsence.. allowing Marianne to encircle the nation?
  7. Yes, "hop Marianne, let the puppets dance" (in real a Dutch song created in the late 18th century), is a French puppet show, but as I think, finally also a menace for the Dutch interests too. Put again into play, also due some self proclaimed DAS BOAT game arbiters, because it is too pitiful for French and Swedish captains if their nation (as happen with the Swedish) is definite beaten and because of that, they are put out of play due the, in their opinion, very worse game balance.
  8. An open letter to the DAS BOAT participants. Hop Marjanneke stroop in 't kanneke laat de poppetjes dansen, gisteren hadden wij een prins in 't land en nu die kale Fransen. France in war with Britain, and in that war, at the side of France, the Dutch Batavian Republic. Not only in the Dutch European homeland it has eliminated our old famous republic, also here in the Caribbean DAS BOAT is dividing and finally destroying the Republic of the United Provinces. As 220 years ago, history is repeating herself. Tonight Fort Oranje has been turned in Marianne blue, the traitors of the Kezen party are dancing there around their Liberty pole. As they did a few weeks ago in some Danish ports, for a short time in het hands of the so named Dutch Hugo Republic. That was a false flag operation, ordered by Joan van der Capellen tot den Dol, likely in secret lead by Cpt Bubbels and his group. Their objective was the same as now with Fort Orange.. being a preperation to attack the British. But the real Orangists, united with our Prince Willem V of Orange, being in London now to lead our governement in exile, of course don't support the policy of DAS BOAT. Regards Cpt. Swieb.. Oranje boven!
  9. I wrote only a reaction to YOUR point, regarding the in your opinion lack of game balance and because of that the idea inside your clan to make peace with the French to solve THAT problem. I wrote: "I like to have internal national troubles and chaos too.. making a game as this very realistic Many players didn't like to have Cpt. Bubbels, SteelSandwich and Monkeybullet as self proclaimed arbiters to force a solution for what the developers don't seem to see as a problem. And if they do, I expect that they come with a solution.. by example due a map reset or a roll back of the game." You, Mr Bubbles, did only quote: "I like to have internal national troubles and chaos too.. making a game as this very realistic Many players didn't like to have Cpt. Bubbels, SteelSandwich and Monkeybullet as self proclaimed arbiters to force a solution" Further, my game name is Swieb, not Zwieb. I can almost not believe that you don't know what a <..> sign in a forum message means. Why do you no use that <..> sign too in your quote regarding my message AND why did you only quote a part of a relevant letterline, with the result that you have changed the discussion regarding my forum message? It looks you blame me for what you are doing by yourself, Mr. Bubbels.
  10. Sooner or later with Louis Napoleon Bonaparte as Rabbit of Olland? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_Bonaparte
  11. A bundle of seven arrows, concordia res parvae crescunt. To the members of the Dutch "Staten-Generaal". As expected, in large communities, as a game nation, there is always dissension, and political issues need to be solved. Blessed is a nation in were citizens and parties have the possibility to be critical and take care regarding their own business. Differences of opinion, political struggle, internal disputes creating amusing troubles, to fight and play with emotions due good role play at the relevant part of the forum, sharping our creativity, is fun if we are only hostile to game characters, but never to the person behind the game character. As making war at sea is fun .. sitting in a warm room with a cup of coffee or a good meal in front of your screen. Al these elements at sea and on the role play forum creates the very lively game experience I like. Gentlemen and ladies, members of the Dutch Staten-Generaal. The history of your house of representives goes back to 1464, when Philips III of Burgundy called the representitives of the 17th provinces of the Burgundian confederation together. The same as the Burgundian nation was a decental managed state due the autonomy of its 17 provinces, also the seven provinces of Dutch Republic (the states of Gelderland, Holland, Zeeland, Utrecht, Friesland, Overijssel, Groningen and surroundings.. and the territories (Generaliteitslanden) of the republic is a confederal ruled nation. The diversity of interests, served by the Staten-Generaal, is symbolized in the Dutch coat of arms by the Dutch lion, holding in one of its claws a bundle of 7 arrows, representing the autonomy and the rights of the individual provinces. The Staten-Generaal (States-General) is the house of representives of the autonomous provinces, in the game in fact the acting as clans, to find solutions to overcome the internal differences of opion and interest inside our nation. My best wishes to you all. I hope to see not only many warfare actions at sea but also a lot of good political drama in our parliament. All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players - Shakespeare. With regards Captain Swieb.

  13. To captain lobogris, It seems that the Spanish RAE was also destroyed in the south due their coöperation with the French to destroy the United Provinces positions. That was a unwise move if Spain really wished to have peace with the British. The Prince of Orange, fled from his European homeland mainly due the treacherous behavior of the so named Patriots Party, being pro French revolutionairs, is now in London and supported by the British King in their common struggle against the French revolution and their servants. Under Spanish and the new revolutionair French flag sailing ships have proven themselves as enemies of the real Dutch nation, thus not that pro French Batavian puppet state we have now in Europe and, as it looks since short, in the Caribbean too. I feel sympathy for the British, as far I have seen honorable and trustworty. This is a world full of deception, revolutionary liberals and others serving their hidden agenda. Captain, Swieb, Oranje boven!
  14. I like to have internal national troubles and chaos too.. making a game as this very realistic Many players didn't like to have Cpt. Bubbels, SteelSandwich and Monkeybullet as self proclaimed arbiters to force a solution for what the developers don't seem to see as a problem. And if they do, I expect that they come with a solution.. by example due a map reset or a roll back of the game.
  15. To mister Hethwill, Sir, you wrote "the new vogue of Liberalism, well founded on the establishment of our Constitutional government.." Your openness is truly amazing mister Hethwill. So you are a loyal supporter of the Batavian Republic? Are you a member of the pro French Patriot Party, the internal traitors of our Republic of the Seven United Provinces? Captain, Swiep.. for the Prince of Orange.
  16. To madam Matsje van Leeuwenhoek, Mam, we in our highly developed European social classes are much too civilized to use words as freaking shitting. May-be is a cursus to learn the basics of good Dutch conversation manners a nice idea for people from the Wild West of America? With regards, captain Swieb.
  17. I have seen small contentious article in the local Willemstad newspaper, Oh dear. I like to share this press clipping with you.
  18. Dear mister Grim DeGrim It was of course not unconventional that privateer captains sailed with a letter of marque they have received from a foreign gouvernement. But using the chaos in my European home nation to help kick out the governor of William V of Orange in Willemstad with the intention to take over his seat is of course also for them a capital crime. Luckly for our prince there are also foreign privateers sailing under the Dutch flag being very loyal to him, as by example the brave captains of the Polish PFK clan. With regards, captain Swieb.
  19. I think they are not complaining regarding not respecting the informal treaty by the French to them. They complain to be considered to be disloyal to the Dutch nation, being a louse in the fur coat of the Dutch, by not accepting a unlawfull treaty, created by the multinational DAS/BOAT clan behind the back of the Prince of Orange and many others Dutch captains and smaller clans. The Dutch nation seems to be deeply divided, thanks to the egocentric behaviour of DAS/BOAT leaders, having their own hidden agenda, but so what? The Dutch were also in real, during the last decades of the 18th century, divided in a pro French revolutionair patriot party and anti French conservative Orangists. Oranje boven!
  20. To Mister Galileus May-be it is unclear to the French captains but many Dutch captains and smaller Dutch clans did not sign. The clan of the person you were reacting to didn't sign, didn't even participate in the negotiations that were organized behind their back. Also that is a reason why there are clans not cooperating with the DAS/BOAT diplomacy. If the multinationals of DAS/BOAT (many players there are in real not Dutch) thinks that they can dictate their rules to others outside their clan (especial to pure Dutch clans) than they make a huge mistake. No clan has the authority to speak in name of a whole nation. With regards, captain Swieb, as Orangist opposing the pro French Dutch Patriotic Party. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orangism_(Dutch_Republic)
  21. Funny to read.. we (DAS / BOAT) respect the French captains because they were not able to win battles they have fought with superiour numbers
  22. Lol.. If I like to play a dull game, I would play a Gooze game with my mother
  23. The F11 bug report feature don't work propperly, a bug report can't be send. Further, there is a teleport bug, sending several times Dutch players not back to their capital Willemstad but to a spot far away from Willemstad (I think near Monte Cristi). After that was happen and the next day (in real live) I teleported my and my ship back to Willemstad, the port user interface tells me that I am in Monte Cristi while I am in real in Willemstad. When I leave the port, I am in front of Willemstad, sailing back in the port the interface bug is gone.
