Look to the past, the old eu servers history tells the newcomers alot about the future.

    GB- ...HUGE population

    Spain- ...small population

    Sverige- ...big rvr population

    Dutch - ...low population

    Danes- ...medium population

    French- ...small population

    USA- ...tiny population

    Polish- ...small population

    Pirates- ...medium population

    Prussian- ...small population

    Russian empire- ...small population

I was going to ask about populations, but fortunately I found it posted here in round terms.  Are any of the large nations with "capitals" expected to get significantly weaker or stronger than their present position due to the Global influx, or will it only be a minor change for everyone?

  2. Wouldn't you just drop most of your sails except minor steering capability and just try to keep the ship oriented a certain direction while riding it out?  If so, it just sounds like an annoyance.  Presumably you'd go back into OW at a randomly offset location and then have to spend extra time trying to get back on course.  The game is already time consuming.

Maybe we need some sea monsters to battle.

Also here it seems that Devs said a thing and made another: if I do not remember wrong they told that we should choose a new 3rd rate, a new super frigate and a new medium frigate ... result .... we have 3 new third rates in the pipeline!

We were told clearly this was a vote for ONE ship.  That's what you're going to get.

Reinforcement zones should protect players only to the certain rank or ship class. Sad to say, but as they are now - its total bullshit.

The reinforcement zones are not about protecting players - they're about protecting nations from being camped to death.  It doesn't matter what your rank is if 6 enemies are sitting outside port waiting to jump on you.

Dear esteemed developers, (yes, lil Willy is helping my with my elocution)

It has come to my attention that the size of the reinforcement zones becomes problematic in areas where territorial capitols are too close together, (i.e.) the East Coast of the U.S.
The overlap of the reinforcement zones there makes hitting ships impossible except in two, narrow, corridors just north and just south of Charelston. US shipping on the remainder of the coast is utterly immune to attack.

    Working as intended.  Hunt elsewhere.

My losses for the last three days:

A fleet: 4x Trades Brig (Swedish attackers had ships Wasa)

B fleet: 1x Surprise, 3x Traders Brig (Swedish attackers had ships Wasa)

C fleet 1x Surprise, 2x LGV  (Swedish attackers had ships Wasa)

A fleet not help. I need a stronger escort. Or cargo insurance. Insurance would solve a lot of things...

You can't fight warships with traders.  What you need is to not get caught in the first place.  As for "cargo insurance", I think at this point you'd be looked upon as a poor "insurance" risk and the "insurance premiums" would be beyond the profits you could generate.  If that were not the case you could be profitably "self-insured" and it wouldn't be necessary.  Just work on not getting caught in the first place.

Even before KoC and his sunshine band of alt abusers started their reunion tour people were losing interest.  I personally dislike the gank vs gank style of pvp and would prefer to just roam around looking for other solo players or small groups.  Unfortunately we don’t have the numbers for that style of pvp. The constant gank outside of torture isn’t healthy for the server, regardless of which side you’re on.

Doesn't the Mortimer Daily Tribune carry a PSA advising captains that the area is to be avoided?
