Tis true! yesterday a St. Pavel and a frigate attacked one of our privateers. Seems a bit of a disparity exists in the current rules, wot where large ships are allowed to attack ships they cant catch, but small ships aren't allowed to attack ships the cant sink. Now, I'm all fer folks tryin to hang us Pyrates, makes it more immersive like. Pirate,dutch,French,danish,swedish,american nor brit. we all have a code of honor and dont do ganking regardless of the fact. else i would of done my share of seal clubbing wich i wont do nor ever will do. It is casuals who ruin the game.U think in the 17 hundreds who would be able to deploy 3 other ships out of thin air just to come help you out. You think then it was possible to go in an closed instance so nobody can join the fight? Ok there are some abusing strategies. But man go find yourself a group then. We are playing a Pixeled game , wich is out of context of what happend irl back then, cause just be honest no one knows. its all tales . but whats there to believe. Never counted on the ai to "bring me victory" heck, hoped the "Demast option" acutally would work and not shoot at the hull of the victory (as thats not demasting , correct?) This is not ganking. One of the points raised on the thread here though by Varaborn is actually the worst issue here, players using smaller disposable ships to tag larger ships with the intent of disruption and delay. I've encountered this before, as have others, funnily enough all by pirates.Perhaps you are taking the role of pirate too much to heart. Just because you play a class that is known for being dishonest and robbing ships at sea, does not mean you should not abide by ethical game rules like the rest of us. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

admin Posted November 23, 2015 Share Posted November 23, 2015 Sailing a ship of the line is dangerous. Players have to get an escort that will allow them to escape or win the fight.
