Fleet and Pulling circle problem

Hello,

I have a little problem with attacks of NPC ships in group (on pve server).

I played with 2 friends at the release of the game and for some reasons we stopped. We came back in game last saturday and we got some trouble to join a battle as group.

When we played the game at its release, when we attacked a ship, others allied ships in the pull circle were aspired into the battle.

Now when we attack a ship, only the attacker go into the battle and the others friends have to choice between 2 circles (one for the nation of the defender and the other for the attacker's nation). And these circles are very far away of the attack area so when we join the battle we are very far away for the friend who attack the npc ship.

For example : Imagine we are 2 persons in the same fleet, we decide to attack an trader brig (NPC). He click on the button "attack" and i stay just next to him. After the countdown, he enter in the instance of the battle, and not me. I have to get back to the "Pirate Nation circle" (which is a bit distant from the pulling circle) to join the battle. But when i join the battle i'm very very far away of him and of the target. So that's boring.

Is there an option to enable the aspiration into the battle ? Or is there anything to do to re-enable this aspiration ?

Plus to that, i saw on the wiki this sentence :
"Note: All player and NPC ships within the 'pull' circle will be brought into the battle instance where the actual ship to ship combat will take place. Be aware that fellow nationals or allies may be very annoyed to be pulled into a battle instance without warning."

So i don't understand why, when we are into the same fleet, we are not pulled in the same battle, even if we are in the same place in the "pulling circle", whereas it worked last time we played (during the release).

Do the engagement rules changed ? Or is it a bug ?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

If your target is a contraband trader this can happen. If you attack combat ships or just normal traders from enemy nations this problem won't happen. Contraband traders are pirates and attacking a pirate creates an outlaw battle if you are a pirate.

We will fix the problem with npc traders.

I really wish those Nationals using a Smuggler flag would be counted as pirate too and could be attacked by any one even there own nations.  It was like that at one time in the past.  Would be nice to see it again.

the negatives of using smuggler to hide in battles were much larger.

No it was a standard npc trader. But this problem also happened when we attacked a regular combat npc.

So can you confirm, that this is a bug ?

Hum okay i didn't know that. But i confirm you that we also got this problem when we attacked a NPC Snow and another time when we attacked 2 cutters. So this bug is not only on the NPC traders but also on the NPC Combat ships

Hello,

We tested yesterday and it still not working with trader NPC despite the update.

I recorded you the attack to show you the problem.

For this attack, i was in group with the other player. He attacked the npc (trader npc), and i was near him (in the pulling circle) and i wasn't pulled into the battle. Then i had to choose between 2 circles to join the battle.

Here is the recording :

Does it work the same way with combat NPCs? or only traders?

With Combat NPC i wasn't pulled into the battle too. But i didn't have to choose between two circles : there was only one big circle corresponding to the pulling circle. Then i had to click on "join the battle" and i was near the others ships (my friend's ship and the combat npc's ship).
