Hyperion74
A few years ago, a salvage company found the wreck of Victory in the channel. They were commissioned by the British government. My memory is bad and I can't remember the name of the company or the name of the show that featured them. My question is, did they salvage anything from the wreck or was it decided to just leave her where she lay. If anyone has info, please share. Edward Vernon
The wreck of Victory? It's been in drydock in Portsmouth since goodness knows when......is it perhaps the Mary Rose you are thinking of?
Hyperion74
Sorry, King George II,s Victory, the one that sunk in a storm in 1762, I think. The previous one to the existing Victory.
