The DRUNK rebellion

As a pirate i will not be taking sides dear Sirs but may i remind you about few other options if you need some captains dealing with.

First i know a lot of pirate groups ( big and small ) that would love to be hired to make a mess around one or another nation.

(As far as know pirates do not have any active alliances with anyone)

Second would be MOST WANTED to make captains listen to what nation masters commands.

And again. Just pointing out an options. No taking sides :)

Have fun.

Thus we may know that there are five essentials for victory:

1 He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight.

2 He will win who knows how to handle both superior and inferior forces.

3 He will win whose army is animated by the same spirit throughout all its ranks.

4 He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared.

5 He will win who has military capacity and is not interfered with by the sovereign.”

-Sun Tzu

You are violating pretty much all 5. Luck can not protect against such behavior.

Since all of those can be filled by his clan tactics let me quote you some norse sayings:

16. A coward believes he will ever live

if he keep him safe from strife:

but old age leaves him not long in peace

though spears may spare his life.

here's another:

8.

Happy is he who wins for himself

fair fame and kindly words;

but uneasy is that which a man doth own

while it lies in another's breast

Bitter man,

sour and tired,

often laughs and blames;

he should of know,

but he knows it not,

he’s not without fault.

Of abilities

you should never brag,

be instead cautious with your wit;

when man wise with few words

come to visit,

it rarely goes him wrong.

Both from Håvamål.
