IJN Ishikari B-65 Class (same as Azuma and Yoshino u can see in World of Warships but with little differences in design)

I wanted to use Large Cruiser hull but those 127mm guns couldn't fit on the main tower for some reason and IJN Modern Battlecruiser used for some reason old hull, so instead I just used IJN Battleship hull, and that is the reason why is she so wide.

Bug with IJN Modern Secondary Tower I & II
This is how IJN Mod Sec Tow I looks like:

As you can see, the second version lacks few things while being "more advanced":
- Lack of fire directors for light AA guns on each side nearby light reflectors,
- Lack of bridge for the officers,
The bug occurs on every IJN hull, academy missions with those towers and in custom battles.
Played Beautiful graphic quality.

Actually they are fine, previously torpedoes were pathetically under-powered to the point where super bb's could take 40+ 24inch torps easily. Torpedoes were commonly know to cause huge amounts of damage to ships even an even sink most by just on torp alone.
Because those were US Mark 14 Torpedoes.

Okay guys, let's talk about the balance of this game. It's seriously out of whack. A few examples:
- Secondaries are useless below 8 inches.
- Game puts way too much power emphasis on larger guns. For example, a 18 inch hit may one-shot something whereas it could take dozens of 16 inch hits or hundreds of 6 inch hits to cause significant damage.
- Balance between hulls vastly favors higher weight classes over lower weight classes. For example, a heavy cruiser can barely scratch a battleship unless torpedoes are used.
- Torpedoes are greatly overpowered / anti-torpedo design features are under-powered. No matter how much anti-torp and how thick your belt is a hit is still going to damage your engine making you a sitting duck for further torp hits.
- Lower tech designs can't hit the broadside of a barn and need to be at virtual point bank range before accuracy becomes respectable, but higher tech designs have great accuracy at over 20km away.
1. Depends on what are they shooting at and what armor that thing have, besides even if they are not able to penetrate enemy ship armor, they can still cause fires, damage superstructure and funnels.
2. Depends on shell weights, propellant, gun technology level, place where the shells hits enemy, armor in various places on the ship and also others means of protection like number of bulkheads, water pumping, etc.
3. This is not World of Warships or any other arcade style game, in short: That's how naval combat works.
4. Because torpedoes were very powerfull weapon? Except for those US Mark 14... they didn't work... at least early in the war.
Besides, it's not only about putting good anti-torpedo protection with thick enough belt armor, so my advice for you is to read what every upgrade does, and to be honest: Best protection are your own eyes.
5. That's how technology works.

Yes, new damage system is much much better compared to previous Alphas.

I'm pretty sure that Scharnhorst/Deutschland style main turrets are not yet added to the game.

I just managed to complete that mission but this was only because my AI designed BB was, strong enough to survive until my cruisers were close enough and started firing their torpedoes.

Mission "Cruisers needed" is pretty much... Dumb because the Battleship that we are supposed to protect is designed by the AI and because of this, sometimes its general survivability is lacking in every possible way.
For example now AI build a battleship with 18 knots top speed and without any armor or damage control protection, and i was supposed to protect it.
The problem was that this French battleship, by using it's own 432mm guns (or at least 406mm) destroyed my BB with a just first salvo, and that salvo destroyed his engines, steering and flood like half of compartments, and this French BB didn't even managed to fire the second salvo on my BB.

but yeah Ai needs some limitations but it seems the campaign will prevent the AI from going aboslutely mental with ship designs in general.
New Jersey managed to do 35,2 knots but that was during a stress test of the engines.

Created as close as possible.
Main differences are two boilers that are too close to each other + despite the fact that this is minimal possible displacement, she is still very long ship in the game, and due to this, turret X is very far away from the end of the ship.
Another main difference is lack of 113mm DP Guns (5xII turrets on each side) that i replaced with 5xII 102mm.
