Ppl sell the ship for the Price they can get. But craft a Trinc cost around 30 k. So guess he make enough profit.
maybe he does, but trash hauling is still the better way!

But you dont need to build ships that cost dbls to level. I mainly make 5 rate. I am level 6 crafter now. So plenty of money to make on crafting and still leveling. Make trinc, sell them for 75 k, and you have a nice profit.
I'd rather haul trash instead of selling trincos for 75K lol
there's a guy who sells a lot of trincos in LT and I haven't seen him go below 200K yet -

what do you mean ridiculous high?
220k for
india man/ wasa is not that high
i think you need to shop in a other shop
220K? people who are selling wasa for that much are making a loss, and for indiaman its an ok price tbh lol
hauling time is also important and some people would get more just by doing the trash haul missions! apparently some people do not value time... hmmm.... that makes sense though, considering they even decided to try to play this naval action game -

I don't understand how a naval Clock can't come off of a ship any time the Captain wants to take it.

It should give back the refits and mods!
yes, but apparently those just dematerialise... yikes.....

the breaking up option is pretty pointless indeed, it should give back some significant percentage...

Hunt your trader brigs out in the open world with the rest of them Greg, stop asking the devs to further empower your dock humping. Bad dog! *sprays hose on little snow*
^ Trader Brig 5 seconds out of dock^ ^Greg " Rawrrrrrr! I'm gonna get ya"
ok
any trader ships could be an expection, but the other ones should have all timers as described by the OP -

While we're at it, also lets remove the ability to leave a battle. I'm sick of these people that run away from battles.
on the other hand you're not going to force anyone to stay when for example you're in a 1st rate and they are in a frigate with little to no sail/mast damage, so being forced to stay for 1 hour without doing anything in this time is pretty pointless

Port Battle for Santiago De Cuba! Pirates came in with with wind in standard Wedge formation with Koltes as the spear point. Crashed into me after I heard boarding whistle. Managed to maintain speed and fire broadside a few times before disengaging. Jumbled brawl ensued for remainder of battle. Ships exploding from magazine hits. Wind shifts leaving men stuck in chains, boarding actions and all over Savage battle.
In the end the pirates had dedicated men who were able to hold the circles and the battle was lost due to point accumulation fro the circles. Great heavy lineship fight!
Captain 2Strong is displeased and disappointed by the unsuccessful attempts of the british navy. He hopes that the british navy is going to perform better next time.

wait wait - you think the cargo missions don't give high enough rewards....?
yes
you have to haul trash all day and all night to craft some ship
so there's no reason not to increase those rewards -

As I understand it, the magazine is just a hit box located somewhere in/on the ship. You can light the ship on fire just about anywhere, and the fire spreads from that location. When the fire reaches the magazine the ship explodes. So if you light a fire close to the magazine, it explodes faster than if you light a fire that is far away. It's sort of luck based at the moment, because we are not given diagrams of where this stuff is. It'd be neat if the devs would give us such a diagram, so we can either aim for or aim away from the magazine/pumps, etc. It would add a whole new level of depth/skill.
P.S. everyone seems to board everything these days, if you don't want to get exploded maybe try to sink ships by shooting them.
I have no idea about shipbuilding but I think that it might be located somewhere on the back of the ships!

or the price itself could be adjusted to something reasonable so you can just craft it instead of waiting 1 week, but of course everyone knows what you can expect!

For what purpose? I'll just use a basic cutter first to find out what is going on outside a port before leaving.
and let others know you are here

Big Big Show, This is the Defense of George Town Port Battle. With a Bonus afterwards of me getting into a Battle late that wound up 2 L'Oceans, one driven by Ram Dinark himself and Despe. I was in a Teak Teak Wasa. Got some good rakes, angled a few full broadsides. I think after this battle I may have unlocked the third slot on my Wasa, was a rare honour to get smashed by one of NA legends. Hope to get wrecked by others.
ANd the Port Battle itself along with the Dessert Battle:
Enjoy
I liked the part where you wrote about the things!

Im wondering how they behave on teamspeak/discord voice chat during something like that, they are clearly determined! 🤣 (it's better to camp hidden next to a port for half of hour to sink a trashy ship and receive shit reward instead of going to a place that's more fun and worthy of the time)
