I don't know how it has been on the EU server but the global Brits and Americans have always been reenacting some bad version of Brokeback Mountain. They just can't quit each other. Hell, I think they even share shoes and cute sweaters.
On the EU server we've been at war for God knows how many months.

Aye, that's why agreements are based on clans not nations. RSC would be willing to perhaps agree to this but cannot speak for other clans. However VLTRA, ARM, SH etc would have to cease their attacks on AHOY, GNF etc for us to agree to this.

Well then they should bring screeners to get rid of the other screeners. If they can't get the numbers, tough.

After leaving a battle there should be a restriction that prevents you from entering a port battle for 5 minutes, as is the case now when you log out at open sea but for less time.
There are certain players who in order to avoid screeners get a friend from another nation (or an alt) and then tag them and sit in the battle. They then jump straight out into the port battle, avoiding screeners etc...-

Of course I did. I do exactly as Spain does, fights the battles it thinks it has a chance of winning; and Cochinos is a higher priority than Portillo.

So to be fair, I guess we should make it so a snow is one shot by a 4th rate. That way you are risking at least a fraction of what I am.
Get a decent tag and a Connie can destroy a Snow. It hasn't happened recently but I have lost to Connies before. A good tag and not demasting at the outset and you should be fine. That's why I was so thrown in my battle with Rediii a few days ago. Usually HRE members always go for demast rather than chain and as a result I was crippled throughout the entire match sailwise. I couldn't withdraw 'cus otherwise I'd have died but then I realised he'd run out of rum so kept it up.
It is situational most of the time. The captain is the reason they die, not the ship. If people started putting carros on their rear as a norm I'd be screwed.
