  1. Also reinspringen (einloggen) oder aus dem Hafen rausfahren geht nicht wegen dem Timer der das dann verhindert (gott sei dank wurde der eingebaut)

Was leider leider geht is das ausloggen im "After Battle Screen". Im Gegensatz zu Apo behaupte ich, dass das nicht nur einige sondern fast alle machen.

Wer will schon gegen eine potentielle Übermacht antreten.

  2. This is one of the most discussed things here in the forum.

What we can sea is that the current status is a real problem and need to be changed!

I like that timer suggestion. If logout then: auto teleport to capitol (loose all cargo).

I think moderator will give you a link to THE ONE thread for this issue.

  3. ..difficult for INDIVIDUAL players to play successfully without joining Clans and Nations..Individual players (who have paid for the game at the same price as Landlords) are marginalized and forced out of the game. Wasted money and wasted time plus stressful interactions RESULTS.

If individual player is the same as single player I ask: Why a single player choose an MMO to play? Teamplay should be promoted in every MMO. In NA it is hard to survive as a lone player and that is good in my opinion. Interaction with other players is what this game makes exiting. Interaction is needed to be succussful in the RvR. Interaction is needed to play politics in this game. At the moment all players are a part of a nation, a nation should be understand as a big team with rules. Every player should find a useful role in his nation to support his nation. There are some lone wolfs out there, they have found their role to fight for their nation when they are attack the nation its enemies and support the nations its allies. But they interact with their nation by following the politics and that is ok. They should get some "points" for the right to vote. The same at the ship builders and traders, they've also found their role in the game and support their nation by selling successfully ships or goods to players of his own nation. They also should get points for the right to vote.

As more you do for your nation as more "points" you gain and as more votes you should have.

If there is a player, who does nothing than PvE, why the hell he should vote for something he is not interested in or wanna fight for?

And for the players who say: "Damn, I dont like that system of the nations, i wanna have freedom -> go pirate a soon as they have been reworked and not be a nation

  4. Great. This is just great. I am happy like a child on christmas day.

Ok that rewards thing, hmmm, but the base idea and the winning conditions are very good.

    But we need to prevent:

A weak nation shouldn't be reduced to a punch-ball, because all nations wanna win (and get rewards) by killing the weak nation repeatly.

So please give some details about that a defeated nation goes ally with the winner. Is that your idea to handle this problem?

  5. ..How can I be one of only a select few people that understand this???..

I think there are much other players who understand this. You are not alone. :-)

While we have in 1 and 2 (teleport) some differences in details we are fully agree with point 3.

  7. The problem as I see it is as follows.

There are three types of players:  The RVR PVP players, the RVR crafters, and the Carebears. Both RVR PVP and Crafters move and shake within the confines of the relationships with other nations. The Carebears sit and fish or fleet all day almost entirely outside of those confines except when they are running, and they have every right to but should they really be deciding the rvr of the game? Alliances are irrelevant for pve'ers.

Playing within the RVR game should be a prerequisite for voting in an RVR mechanic.

You nailed it. I agree 100%.

  8. One player - one vote!

Democratic system please. Im so tired being member of a nation that is tossed around by a few, dedicated players with their home-made-RvR diplomacy. Its really a turn-off and one of the major reasons for annoyance. "You cant attack that ship - we have a treaty with those guys - do this - do that"

Damn! Lets ged rid of this once and for all!

All byers have paid the same amount of money - all should have the same vote. All other factors should be left out completely! We are all customers here!!!!

home-made-RvR diplomacy exists because the game didn't had such an option at the moment.

The players (most clans) tried to fill this leak in the gamedesign. In my point of view it is an democracy today and it is a democracy after the next content patch.

After the patch, maybe 60% of your nation decided to have nation X as ally and you want the nation as enemy, its the same as now:

You cant attack players of Nation X. Ok there is one difference:

You dont read from other players: "You cant attack that ship - we have a treaty with those guys - do this - do that", instead of that

the gamesystem calls you something like: "Not possible to attack that player, because it is a ally"

  9. LETS ME ASK ONCE AGAIN.

Whether these changes will be introduced along with the announced changes in the Pirate mechanics? If not why Pirate nation (because it de facto is now) is to be excluded from alliances? This puts all currently sailing under the black flag in a very unfavorable situation.

Its the nature of a pirate to fight and sink everyone he want.

If the pirates have ally with an real nation all pirates are loose the freedom they want.

Wait for the pirate rework. It is logical to remove the pirates as a nation and give them a real pirate-gameplay

  10. ..alts are power gamers, power gamers have many active hours, ergo alts dictate the mechanism.

Wrong. I know some guys who are having alts just to produce some goods and bring it to their mains.

That guys playing much with the main, really less with the alt. Their alts shouldn't be able to vote at the nations they belongs to.

Their alts have a higher level because they played it month ago or let their child play the alt for some weeks. So, just to set a minimum rank to get the right to vote

    isn't enough.

This game need the restriction by "Active Hours per week" like "Wind" has posted

  11. How are you going to deal with multiple accounts placing votes for other Nations?

ex. if a clan has 100 members and they are all have 2 accounts on different nations. Can they switch and vote? I think yes. 100 cheat votes make a big difference and might just ruin the whole system.

My suggestion - implement 'active hours'. Active Hours should be the minimum amount of hours you need to spend (in one nation) in order to place the vote for that same nation. Now in order to place double vote, players will need to spend x2 hours per week on both nations if they want to cheat.

ex. if player is inactive and just came back to the game he will not be able to place a vote. 10 hours per week could be a reasonable start. Active hours reset every week.

Also, place vote window in the end of each Week - Sunday. This will make sure players get 10 required hours.

P.S. I am looking what will happen in a long run and I know it takes time to level up a character, but trust me we are dealing with gamers who will do just anything in order to get an easy win.

PLEASE Devs. Take a look at this suggestion.

This player did make a very very good suggestion to decrease the problem of multiaccounts and the voting system.

In addition such a system will protect a nation from votes by players who play just a very few hours a week. In my oppinion such players aren't be able to estimate

wich nation ist the best ally and wich are really need to be an enemy, because they don't know what happened the last week(s).

  12. I like your ideas and would add sone thoughts..

The biggest problem i have with the pirate thing in this game is: How to limit the count of pirates in the carribean sea?

I fear, because of much books, films and characters like "Jack Sparrow" really much players wanna play as pirate.

But in history there were just some pirates and only a part of them were famous ones like "Black Beard" or "Stede Bonnet".

So i dont want so see an ocean full of pirates like the current state. So i ask myself how to limit that. The answer could be:

Players need to fight for their right to sail under pirate flag. There must be a rivalry between the pirates. So if there are some

pirates in the waters wich are really good in their job the "Wow"-Effect will come back: "Omg. Caaa Caaa Caaaaptain. Black Sails on horizzzzon and its the famous Captain B B Blackbeard!"

And if there are some really famouse pirates or small pirates clans the bounty system will automatically increase bigger bounties on their head.

That would result in an Pirate hunt by some Nation Players and at this point we need the trace like you said in point three.

That all will generate much PvP Action, i would like to see in Naval Action :-)

  13. ..hiding in a battle screen for ages is also annoying..

Thats it. And because of that we need a compromise! Compromise means both sides reduce their claims.

One side says: Let it be, like it is at the moment

Other side says (and my favorite): Implement a auto kick to Open World after x minutes

    if personally like this compromise

  14. Because there are so much threads about this issue, everybody can see there IS A NEED TO TALK about this problem. You can bellow like a baby and depricate the opponent side nevertheless this battle screen hiding is a game design problem and as long as this is possible there will be much guys who start a suggestion thread to stop this insanity.
