Its ok if you want the nations in the game, make some kind of alliance system between them. But seriously though the problem is that people choose to switxh nations for the ones winning instead of fighting back, just because there are no true alliance system

we had that before the other nations were added. People always chose the easy side even when it wasn't as punishing. If we had the same issues before nations were added then it cannot be the nations. Lower end and higher end upgraded ships need to be more competitive for starters.

we have full understanding of how NA2 will look and work on NA helped this understanding. Second MMO will be better than first

I have no reason to doubt that. Afterall NA1 is a great game. Sometimes we sound critical I know but its our love for it that makes us so passionate. GOTs ending is not hated because its a bad TV show. Its hated because its a great TV show. I am not comparing NA to the season 8 trash of GOT. Creating something great has its drawbacks and this genre of game also draws the critical tactical minded people.

Anyway any ETA on release? I'm guessing 2021. Can you tell me how close I am?

No to any more wipes, hell no to xp or craft xp wipe. A total dumb feature, a meaningless, boring, ugly grind. I hated it for the second time, money grind a third time.

I feel like, in this forum, we are trying to communicate with aliens by broadcasting tape recordings for 100 bilion times. No alien is responding.

    NA 2 ????

What can be different in NA 2, apart from being the next cash cow?

What is NA missing and why the missing things can not be delivered to NA?

I can not find any reasonable answers to these questions.

Good luck with your bussiness, may it bring you lots of money and joy...

the reason people make and sell game is to make money so you shouldn't overreact.

I love seasons - we are looking into way to bring it to NA.. NA2 will definitely have seasons.

Do you think a smaller world is a good idea for NA2 or not the problem in the game?

I don't think those who went through NA development (300 000 users+) will risk same fate with NA2. Smart ones will never invest in early access again and will wait for a finished product to buy. So, I hope you have funds to start NA2 project.

There is no risk in 40 euros. If you are in a situation in life were 40 euros is a risk maybe its best not waste it on games in general. I have never bought an early access game in the hopes it would turn out good. I bought it when it was good. Sea trials was good and worth the price imo. We will all buy NA2 no matter what. At least the active forum members. I really dislike the casual combat model in the game currently but its better than the competition. Last but not least how do you know NA2 will be an alpha game? They have NA1 to test and don't be expecting a major jump between NA1 and 2 because you will only be disappointed. My only advice to the devs if they go open world is to make the world alive. Quests, crew, sea life and a Kraken. I am still pissed there are no easter eggs in NA1.

The problem is that the devs treat all cases equally. It doesn't matter if the damage is big or small so I'm doing it now so that the time after, when the damage could be serious, he'll get more than a "warning" which is basically a brush under the carpet.

They have to do that because otherwise people would accuse them of discrimination or whatever. You did not need to report this because it will not change the fact that you yourself "abused" the system. Its very frustrating to be in his position. People hiding in battles has always been an issue.

  6. I am no witness but is a tribunal not a bit of an overreaction to 1 block of armour damage?

I assume you escaped into the battle and can even understand his frustration.

It's just not cool if the community keeps snitching on each other all the time. I can understand if he sank you or even damaged you so much to get you outside but 1 broadside for a tribunal just shows me your lack of character.

If the devs really don't want to deal with green on green they could introduce a system that punishes players in game like many games. In call of duty your damage gets returned and you die. I don't know if its possible in na but there needs to be a solution. These tribunals are a yoke.

Why you so stupid. This is exactly what I wanted to show. You are talking about 25x25, using the effect of incomplete truth. Because if we say about 25x24 in really it is equally 25x25, but it gives you the opportunity to interpret the whole situation differently, you cry: "it was not 25x25 - it is no dont mind nothing!". Smart ppl can understand what you just say trash. You are also talking about the effect of modules on pvp, but you dont say what you have better modules it this pvp then me , you say: "you waste 20 mins for demast me" but don’t talk about what just run all this 20 mins. Partial truth - all that you have. These crumbs are the truth you manipulate to change public mind.

IF you wanna full truth: 1) sorry cant win 25x25, not because they has less ppl, just because they were afraid fight 25x25. The story of Sorry ended at the moment when they were forced to fight 25x25
    2) You cant win 1v1 not because i have better ship or better modules, just because you cannot use what you have well enough.

But you cannot lose everything and claim that you are wrong. Because the forum for you = life. That’s all you have left. Classic forumfighter, go talk more about your "partial truth" and my english skills, you cant do more.

P.S. I sobered up and the more you are not interesting to me. The conversation is over :D

Lacking common sense and being drunk are 2 different things.

In most cases, Goebbels didn’t lie :) Like you ofc.. you say "SORRY never did a 25v25 against any clan period". it is true, but it is also a lie, as a separate phrase taken out of context, you are good at using such tricks. You cant understand it, because your intellect is only enough for talk about "i will ez crash russian zerg, bat player with average skills ez kill me", go lear win players with average skills before.

P.S. why you think what i keep atleast 1 screen with battle vs you?

Hehe. You really cannot comprehend what is going on around you :)

Right now you feel pretty smart but you have no idea how stupid that post just made you look.

I never said sorry never lost a 25v25 port battle. I said that lord vicious said sorry never lost a 25v25 port battle. I was mocking lv.

That screenshot proves nafing. Its 24 sorry. Show me 1 screenshot of sorry loosing a 25v25 port battle, You see what I did there?

You say I am good at using tricks but there is no tricks. My posts in national news are nothing more than  random nonsense. If you confuse nonsense with tricks you are really lost.

I use words like smash and trash because they are funny stupid and nonsensical. Notice how mad North viking and yourself get when I say it though? You get triggered. It works and even if I tell people I'm trolling them they still take offense.

Have you ever noticed that noone actually argues with me about the shit I say? Maybe it's because they all get it and you and staun don't.

Many words, I can express my position, some people will believe me and some will believe you, but what's the point, to prove something to you?pffff.... Win at least 1 fight, 3 before that you have already lost, and then your promotion will be attached not only with wordsIn the meantime, control what you say, otherwise it all sounds like a curse of the captain from the deck of a sunken ship

If you are so keen on making claims that you sank me 3 times show me a screenshot. Once you did in a Connie 1v1 French vs no French. Where are the other 2 battles. Show us Screenshots. Im curious myself now because either you are lying or I forgot being sank by an average player with meta ships. I highly doubt I would forget that.

I said in previous post that you are not understanding the posts. All the bs aside. I'm no lier. I don't make up random facts and claims that are untrue. I think it's quite obvious for people with average intelligence to understand it. If not maybe you should not respond. I don't talk on Russian forums because Google doesn't know shit.

You show some random screenshot of lord vicious and his trash to me for what? You start responding to my comments without the slightest idea what is going on.

I think the hachi as always wanted to say ... just to say. Especially for you I will explain 1 thing - he has long been entangled in his lies. In order to keep the intrigue I will not destroy the illusion about hiw power as a 1x1 player, I will show another example. Here is what he writes 3 days ago

    And what was in really:

    93D1302964352C074B4E1C3645DBCF3B9CC03665

P.S. Just boring, i have some time and I don’t like when people behave like hachi... Goebbels nervously envies him

OK mate I understand now. You should really go back to the Russian forums or go learn English. Omg you are so ignorant. Ask someone to explain to you abot my posts.

How many times still need to sank you, so that you correctly perceive the understanding of trash. Forumfighter...

If you ever beat me with a ship that is not meta I respect you. Your trash mate. You do not know how to position. You don't know how to use wind.

There is no chance I win a 1v1 against you and your mods I agree.

I would actually not even duel you again in a fair fight after what you did last time. Having 3 clan mates waiting outside until you start loosing. You are a 1 trick pony mate. You beat me once with French rig vs no French rig and you think youre good. It took you 20 min to dismast ship with no mast mods. If you do it in less than 1 broadside your decent. Connie vs Connie is easiest mast hitbox.

Do you think I don't ask you for 1v1s because your good mate? I don't ask because you without mods you are above average.

Last but not least I know you are trying to trigger me but I'm not responding to you.

Except the nation with "90%" PvP'ers happens to have 5/7 55p ports, it makes it a lot easier to go "PvP" if we can call it that.. The problem here is there is no balancing out, the investments in ports practically ensures that ppl either stick to their nation, leaves or joins the zerg in order to keep future investments safe.

If u played the game and crafted, you'd know that a shipyard is 4.25m reals, 80k dubs, the academy is another cool million and 10k dubs and the workshop is if I remember right 5k dubs and 500k reals.. If you like cannons, and I bet you do, then add another million for the forge. If that port gets taken are you going to do 68 long (100k+ reals) cargo deliveries all over again, assuming you can get dubs on each of them you then only need to grind another 27k dubs..

This shit doesn't "balance" itself out, ppl just quit.

Then comes the investments in the port.. Lvl'ing one area from 0-4 costs 180k dubs, 150 VM and 375 combat medals.. I'm just not going to do that grind to build up a port again, so if fx. SJ gets taken what would be my reaction? - I'll just play something else.

This shit doesn't "balance" itself out, ppl just quit.

    And again for the record:

Ppl who states that port bonus' doesn't matter is just not very good at math.. Hull bonus 4 compared to no hull bonus is an entire broadsides worth of difference between to L'Oceans, add to that the 8% xtra crew (sails, reps, reloading of guns), add to that gunnery bonus, sailing bonus etc..

Why do new players stop before they even really get startet in the game?

    - The grinding

    - The monotonous delivery missions, no risk = no rewards (inflation eats the profits) and no fun (run into an enemy port with contraband goods? - fun.. run into a port with free boxes? - no fun).

    - The only missions you can do is either combat missions or delivery missions. No escort missions, no patrols, no scouting, no investigation, no exploration. The world is a shallow world with no content so why shouldn't ppl leave?

    - If you get into the game and want to do crafting, you have to be in the largest faction to pull out the best ships and then only if your clan is on the friendslist otherwise you need to join the clan that owns the 55p port or you can choose a different path... you can flip a 55p port and lose in the PB because... oh yeah the only ones arguing for the port bonus' is those that already has them and know that they don't have the skills to keep their ports without the advantage of mods and 55p ships. That leaves one more option for a new player starting out or a clan wanting to play on equal terms as the zerg - you can leave the game.

    Steamcharts are in: People left.

1st: I would like to ask you how many hours I need to play a week to have an opinion about game mechanics? Just curious. I play sometimes just to keep me up to date on things.

2nd. It's no secret that I do not make ships and only sail second hand ones. Last time I crafted something was in 2016. The economy is crap and just like in eve you need actual economy experts to design it. Eve has lost their main economy expert and its showing. Forget making economy proposals because gls were never good at it. They can design combat mechanics and sailing but not eco. I've never hidden the fact that I have no idea about ecos.

3rd. Why are you telling me things about balance that I have been warning people about since when the changes were announced. I stand by my point that went there is willpower anything is possible. I told everyone that making larger ai ships capable was not going to change the inventory gap.

4th. Russia will lose eventually. They will get bored and someone will replace them. Even if all ships were the same you still need a fleet that has the skill to kill them. The devs cannot balance that. The players have too.

5th. What about the steam charts? Are you surprised? I'll go through my posts when Im at home but I predicted we would have 500 players after 6 months. Has nothing to do with the rvr grind BTW. Most people that buy the game have no plan to invest 3000 hours in rvr. I told you all that the wipe was nothing more that a timesink that was intentionally designed to keep players invested. Once people unlocked what they wanted they quit. That's why I leveled to trinco and only play once in a blue moon. I'm not wasting my life.

Dude your original post made no sense. Your second post more so. Dont ask the devs to fix player balance when you already know the problem. Everything you said comes down to the inventory gap and once that issue is gone it's fair game. I'll even promise you that if its fixed I will come back to rvr and with a few more Danes we will hammer the Russian trash. Its easy.

You can't blame players for shitty mechanics. That goes for the russians, and for the rest of the server. Being a lamb to someones "I-win" battle isn't as much fun as it sounds.. So if the playing field isn't equal why should the players play the game then?

its not mechanics fault if 90% of one nations playerbase likes pvp compared to 10% from another. It always balances itself out in the end.

  14. I disagree with rum being no issue. Maybe its best if one stern rake ends a battle. Rum just like repairs doesn't scale well in combat. Take a 1st rate 1v1 as an example. Lets say you are in a victory and you want to disable and board an ocean. You rake 400 crew from that ocean and the ocean has 700 crew. Victory has 800 and we know that 800v700 is not a guaranteed win so we need to rake again. By the time you have fought for the wind advantage to line up a second rake 12 min have passed and you are back to step one almost. Rum is not good.

As for repairs go ideally it should be 1/1 like William said.

Players should be forced to think tactically again and think very carefully about their next move. The problem with your hull proposal is that it doesn't change that much. People will only disengage sooner and kite just like they do now to repair. Running of to repair is not always a bad thing but currently you can do it so often that players are just risking to much. We have all seen 1st rates being surrounded and almost sank in port battles only to get away with a bit of luck only to return at the end of the PB with an almost full ship. A disabled ships should stay disabled and have no 2nd chance. Sure you will die eventually because structure always takes damage.

I am a simple man so I prefer simple solutions. We all know that 1/1 repairs worked. We had it almost 2 years an nobady complained. Why risk trying something we don't know for sure will work if we have a sollution that is proven to work. There is not a single thread with a player proposing more that 1/1 repairs before multi reps were added please. It was a terrible idea that has added nothing to the game other than problems.

I sometimes have the feeling the devs are to stubborn to change it back and if they did they wouldn't do it properly to prove their point. The idea that you can design a combat model that makes a 10v1 possible with "skill" is delusional. There is a fundamental difference between skill based and equipment based games. The more skill based a game is, the less upgrades the player has.

I am playing F1 2019 right now. If you join a lobby against the max rank players in the game you will have 100% the same car as they do. All they have is different liveries. That is skill based. Esports drivers are 1-2 seconds a lap faster than me because they are better. Not because they have more bonuses. Maybe Naval action is not supposed to be skill based but this is what the steam page says.

"Naval Action is a hardcore, realistic, and beautifully detailed naval combat sandbox immersing players into the experience of the most beautiful period of naval history - when sailing ships ruled the seas.

Except for the game looking nice for the most part, nothing is true. Its not hardcore, realistic and is definitely not a sandbox game.

Mechanics need to support content creation.. When contest becomes "I-win" scenarios, demands rigorous grinding and locks equipment behind permits, port bonus etc. the opposite side won't create content (i.e. PvP and PBs) and in its furthest extent deny the opponent content by simply not showing up for PBs or surrender in PvP matches..
