  1. Check some PvP MMOs who think like that. Oh wait. They are all Bankrupt because nobody Plays them.... Mate no Offense. But PvP Server just means that Players vs Player Fights are Enabled. It doesnt mean your allowed to Gank Noobs all Day. PvE Server does not allow Combat even between Full Fledged Players. And Reinforcements dont cut in between somewhat Fair Fights. The only thing its Killing is the Ganking Opportunities. In Reality Singled Out Ships would never Try to Attempt Raiding Trade Ships in Sight Range to an Enemy Port. Because they would be Guaranteed to have an Fleet After them Instantly. If you want to Raid Traders and other Stuff do it on Open Sea like your Supposed to. And not around Enemy Ports Its also nice how you guys always Blow the Reinforcements out of Propotion. Last time I got Tagget by 2 Renomme Frigates in my Super Strong Privateer I got 1 Renomme as Reinforcement. You guys Talk like the Enemy gets some Overpowering Force lol.... But he usually gets only some Ships to Equal your Numbers. Welcome to the World. You should not Pirate right in the Enemy Bases you know. Piracy is done on Open Sea out of Sight Range for Enemy Ports and Patrols. If your Camping the Port and then Attack an Trader right off the Coast of that Port where every 2 minutes 10 Enemy Ships are Sailing by to see it. Then Sorry but thats your Fail as a Pirate. If you want to Raid Enemy Trade Ships you do this at an Place of the Trade Route thats out of Sight Range. Not right under the Enemies Militarys Nose. First of all, you have no point at all lol For you this Issue Involves Tradeships. Unfortunately the Mechanic is not only for Trade Ships. Its Protecting the New Players who just try to level up with Missions near the Port. If you want to Tag Trade Ships simply do it outside their Reinforcement Range. I know its annoying to wait further outside. Its much easier to just Tag Enemy Traders right at the Port where you know a Trader will come by every 10 minutes. But if your Tagging Traders right in the middle of an Controlled Enemy Zone your Bound to be Fighting the Military of that Nation.
  2. How about you Simply Stop Tagging Smaller Ships in their own Waters and instead seek Fair Fights with Enemies of your own Size ??? Its already a Joke that a new Player is just Happy to have his First Brig and is Immediatly Faced with 2 Frigates because some Enemy Player Decided to Tag him in his Own Mission where he cannot even Receive Help from other Players. You want to Scare Away New Players right off the Bat by constantly having them Raped even in their own Waters ? You think Attacking a New Player in a Pickle with 2 Frigates is Fun or what ?
  3. As the Title Says. NPC Ships currently are behaving overly Defensive. They are almost always increasing Distance and are Driving at Odd Angles. This not only Causes em to always show their Rear to Enemy Ships. It is is also Dragging out Combat Needlessly. If only Traders and Inferior Ships would behave like this Or if they are Outnumbered for example. It would make Sense to me. But even if the NPC has the Entirely Superior Ship and is 1 vs 1 he is avoiding a Broadside Battle like the Pest. Thanks to that Combat takes Forever because neither the NPC nor the Player can manage to cause major damages to the Enemy. Them behaving like this is very annoying and only serves to make Battle long and boring. If NPCs have an Equal or Superior Ship they should be more Aggressive and Attempt to actually Battle the Enemy in a Distance where they Deal Damage.
  4. Its not the PvP that Worries me. But the Fact that Vets are Allowed to Single Out Newbes while Avoiding Enemy Vets. Its fine if Newbes are not Safe from PvP But why should Vets be Allowed to be Safe from it by Targeting Newbes ? If an Vet PvPer from another Nation can Join into the Mission or Target of an New Player and Attack Him. Than other Vets from this New Players Nation should also be Allowed to Join into the Mission and Attack the Enemy Vets. Why should Vets Enjoy being Protected from Fighting Superior Foes. When New Players are not Protected from it ?
  5. Hmm. So Reverse Calculating this. It Seems that the Changes Made in the Past were Results of these Polls. Its nice to know that the Team here seems to care for the Opinion of their Customers What I am missing in the Poll. Would be an Focus on Interface Improvements. And Focus on Balancing of Rewards and Money System. The Interface is Fairly Rustic. Especially Ports could use some Backround Animations or at least Pictures of the Ports to give a bit of an Feeling. The Windows etc are all almost Modern Military OS Designs ^^ Its somehow Ruining the Immersion if you Dock at an port and have this Blue Screen there. The Rewards and Money Balancing needs work as well. Right now Grinding for Levels is a very Boring Pain. There should be more Open World Targets and Missions which are making Gold. For Example One good Way would be to Add Gold Bonus based on Enemy Ships Cargo Value. Ships hauling Ressources not used for Crafting should get an Additional Default Value thats Shared amongst all Participants if that Ship is Sunk. Rather than only Granting Gold Rewards for Kills and Damage.
  6. Up Front I Apologize if this is wrong Section. I have not Found an Questions Section so I assumed this might be the Best Place to increase Chances a Dev or Admin sees it. Question is Fairly Simple. Whats the Current State of Policies and Plans for Wipes. 1. Are any Wipes Planned for the Future. 2. Are there Intentions to have Wipes in the Future. Or is it only an. "Well if we have no other Option we will do a Wipe" Thing. 3. (If there are Wipes) Will they be Soft Wipes. (For Example Ships and any Equipment Hard Content etc Removed. But Gold and XP Being kept) Or is there a Chance of Full Wipes (Really everything to Zero) 4. If any of the Above was Answered Positively towards a Wipe Happening. When will be the Crackpoints or Planned Times of these Wipes and when will we be Safe from Wipes. (For example Last Wipe will be at Full Release it will be an Soft Wipe, After that no Further Wipes will be done) Thanks for your Time. Greetz Sun
  7. Agreed. It would Help alot of the Battle Flags would be more Recognizable. I mean hey in Reality you would be noticing a Battle thanks to Cannon FIre etc on Long Range. I think its fine if it was more Spottable in the Game as well.
  8. Latey. I have seen it alot that Players from other Factions are Camping Ports where New Player Spawn. They are High Ranked and use Fast Ships so if they themselves get Tagged they only Flee and cannot be Caught. Their Aim apparently is to wait for new Players to Tag Missions. They then Join this Mission and Massacre the low lvl Players. I think this needs to be Addressed. One Simple Solution would be to Allow other Players of the Nation to Join these Battles instead of Locking them out. Another Solution would be to make These Missions Immune to Hijacking. So other Players cannot Just Join Pirate Forces to Harass New Players from another Nation. The Third Solution would be to make Reinforcements Stronger and Join Automaticly rather than being Called. So High Level Players dont get tempted to Join on Low LvL Players Missions. And one more Solution would be to Simply Lock Low level Missions entirely from Interference. Its not Acceptable that People are Abusing the Mechanics to Harass new Players and other Veterans of that Nation cannot do anything about it because they are Locked out by the Mechanics. Greetz
