Tbh the whole Brit - Spain diplomacy needs to just start from scratch again, Forget all this Bullshit, forget all what happened in the past, learn from it yes but forget it as The past is the past and it cannot be changed. Move on, Play on, Game on after all this is just a game so bloody relax and enjoy it as some people take shit way to far. Also let me please remind you this is the internet as well and people on forums and in games can and will be troll's so ignore some of the British posters like we ignore some of the spanish ones as they are just trolling.
Now i would suggest first and foremost what i understand spain is already in the process of doing, forming a council that includes all the clans in it and getting on the same page. In regards to diplo once this is done come talk to our council and lets make peace as both nations need it.
Britain does not want to see spain die but see spain grow and prosper, how and when this happens is up to the spanish player base. From talking in global, your in dire need of coal and possibly other resources, this war has not been kind to you but while its going on, it will get worse, all i say is wake up as a nation and come talk peace. Wake up and forget the past and talk peace as no matter what its hurting spain more than its hurting us brits even with multiple wars on different fronts going on.

Nation with 100 ports, flag cost = base value x 512 = 51,200,000 gold.
The way i would tweak this cost as lets face it, the game is about conquest of the caribbean so it should be:
- Nation with 100 ports, flag cost = base value x 12 = 1,200,000 gold.
- Nation with 200 ports, flag cost = base value x 22 = 2,200,000 gold.
- Nation with 300 ports, flag cost = base value x 32 = 3,200,000 gold.

I'm not butthurt, in fact i welcome it, just don't be surprised if you find opposition in your planned conquest, those ports will be defended, quite a few of those ports have AU timers from back when we took those ports so feel free to try and take them at 4am. Only thing that i see going wrong is that you don't get a foothold on our soil and the dutch get impatient in waiting for you.

Ok, let me get this straight...
Denmark/Norge is allied to France
France is allied to Sweden
Verenigde Provinciën is allied to Denmark
Sweden and VP are currently fighting port battles.
France is at war with the british
Denmark/Norge is at war with the british
Sweden is allied with the british
This is like playing chess with 5 colors of pieces!
What i want to know is as the Dutch is Neutral to the british and the swedes are still allied to a point with the british where they will stand in the upcoming conflict? Will the Dutch just bend over and let the french come though them so that they are effectively surrounded on both sides in which case if war happens between the two sides again that they will be sandwiched? Not sure if the dutch will like that thought to much. How will the Swedes feel about there friends the french fight their friends the british or will they sit on the sidelines and wait and see what happens and join the winning side?
Last week, the CSNF announced that it was now "at peace" with Sweden. Both Denmark-Norway and France are currently neutral regarding the war between Sweden and the United Provinces.
How does the Dutch feel about this? There allies since the beginning just sitting back and letting their ally get destroyed?

No, we are not acting as a superpower, we act like a faction that needs ports the same way your faction does. Is this so dificult to understand?
But because you always want to take control of as much ports as you can, we don't have the ports we need, even when we were allies.

1. Council was not formed so Britain was not untied, SLRN, AUSEZ, RGL and any others that had pacts with the spanish clans all asked Sink and BWITC to stop attacking the dons in that area, we even went to hit the Dutch in Fleet PVP at one point. So don't claim that we did not try to support you at that time, when we did, We cannot like pirates attack other players of our nation so how do you think we could support you? Pepe even wanted us to leave Conception (AUSEZ was down there before RAE, BWITC, and SINK), we did so we did not engage in accidental PVP.
2. Are you on about Panama, if so See point 1, Are you on about Yucatan region/Northern Yucatan then those around Benselem were taken to stop any advancement by the US, Northern Yucatan was taken off the US and were about to be handed back to spain.
3. If i recall what i was told, they told you in time, at the time we were trying to help you rebuild, peace with the US wasn't established and we did not want you to lose these ports all over again.

well, let's wait. Diplomacy needs time. I think that we should wait and see what the English will do after taking Mexico.

Probably they will (and they will be able to).

Probabily they would be even able to do it. But it's a fact that this would transform this zone - right in the middle between USA and Brits - in a zerg and guerrilla jungle. I am not so sure that it would be a good move on the strategic POV keeping a lot of resources busy just to keep with armies what a good treaty could transform in a relatively safe zone.
Moreover: there will be a wipe and some "spanish pirates" may come back with higher ranks. Let's start thinking also about that.
Who looses everithing has plenty of time to think about how to reorganize a revenge, while the winners will be always busy in winning more or keeping what they got. A great empire is difficult to control if the borders are unsafe (Roman empire fall teaches a lesson).
Now let's let Brits show their might. When they will appoint their next objective, there will be room to discuss with them (or with their next enemies of course).
Victor is right in a way, we will most likely take ports in Western Cuba, will we keep all the clans we have in that area currently there in the area, its possibly but most likely they'll return home to there AO or go to another front, We brits do have a few fronts at the present time. Will we keep fighting there most likely we will, are we willing to invest resources? Absolutely.
Will spain be able to recover from this, i do believe you can and will, will it be though continued war with us, no i don't because sooner or later you will feel the effects and you will accept that peace is the only way to fully move on. After the wipe i hope all of this can go away and we can start afresh with no hostilities between us, how we will get there who knows maybe though a common enemy on a new map, maybe though talks at the end of this one when that comes.
Are we currently overextended? yes in a way we are but do we care nope, its just a game, we have pride to keep fighting but tbh i think if the roles were reversed we would put pride to the side and talk peace. Not saying that's what you should do or anything just my personal option on how if the rolls were reserves what us brits would do.

You can't blame one single guy for trying to bring a faction together and then that faction falling apart of their own accord rofl. After all it is just a game. I personally do not see how i was being insulting to papa bear for his choice of going pirate, wang who posted the pic of the chat today (aus time) asked the guy who replied if they were now pirates, i made the reply to say that Papa has indeed gone pirate. If Papa or someone took offense to me stating the fact that he did make the switch and then asking if maybe the whole RACC clan made the switch as well as i thought himself and Tsunami where the main leaders of RACC and both switched if all of that clan followed.
Again if anyone took offense by my posting before i am sorry, i am also sorry if offense was caused by any of my posts in this topic or others. I also hope that he enjoy's his time as a pirate and i hope to see him again in a battle in which this time i hope that i win, if i recall he sank me last time

Our response of course was simple, we took and now control 90% of spanish territories that were in the gulf of Mexico. So i must ask you sir why should we surrender? Do you still feel that you should not fear our naval might? Do you really think i will smell my navy burning from london still? British ports will not be surrendered instead sir i ask for you to attack them at will, as we will take your ships or burn them at will, and you will definitely smell them from Havana.

We were fighting against pirates and usa, trying to recover the north of cuba,
We helped you against the US, before war was declared, we even helped you and them come to the table to a peace agreement
then was the problem between you and RAE,so you decided declare war to all the spanish faction taking all the ports of southern cuba, and now i can see that yucatan also.
RAE attacked us on the eve of the joint attack against the US in the Yucatan area, we let it slide as it was only RAE and told the spanish diplo that was speaking to us at the time that we would only engage RAE. Approx a week later Corrientes was attacked, the attack failed and we were going to let it slide but when the port of Sigunia which was negotiated to be given to us by the spanish diplo that was speaking to us at the time and who claimed to be the voice of all spanish clans but RAE was defended, we again we asked why and we were going to ignore it again and do more negotiations with you spanish for the ports. The next day Corrientes was then attacked again, showing that spain or half of it was wanting war with us. Your nation forced this war against us, we were going to let some attacks slide for peace, hell Wang even argued for it within the British council who after the first attack and then the defense wanted nothing more than straight up war.
You opened your own third front, not us, instead of talk with the people you decided take the easy way and declare war (we are too weak at all),
Like i said above your nation opened up the front that we were wanting peace on, hell we helped you get part of you country back for you, the ports that we still had in Northern Yucatan were about to be handed over to you, yet your nations clans attacked us. I do not see how we were responsible for opening this front, especially as you yourself claim that your not at war on another front indicates to me that your at peace with the pirates, effectively meaning that your allied or have a none aggression with them. Why when they own 80% of northern Cuba astounds me.

RAE was booted from that area the day or two before GB formed the Council, unfortunately otherwise a vote would have probably been made and we might not be fighting. From what i was also told RAE after being booted from Panama wanted to move into Truxillo even though a week before that they told me that the british could take those 5 ports in bensalem as they didn't have timers on. they also told me that there was no other spanish clans to speak to as they all rerolled pirate, they also said we could have the whole of the Gulf of Mexico and Cuba if we wished it as they were still down in Panama. So why are you listening to RAE when there officers told us that we could have that land, yet now they are wanting a war with the nation that is now claiming what they gave us a week/a few days prior to there eviction from Panama. Did they then tell us that they didn't want us to take that anymore? Nope, did they ever come to our ts or a british teamspeak for a chat? Nope, Are they wanting spain to fall so they devs implement want they want which seems to be only EU port timers? Seems that way, so why is it that you spanish players are listening to the crap they speak?

We are not allies with them, only that we have enough enemys right now, we dont need/want/like another front... you are in war with them and us, so is obvius that you are going to fight in two fronts.

Hmm i'm sorry but you didn't want another front? So that means that instead of fighting pirates which in my mind a nation should always be at war with, you decided to open up a second front(and it is a second front because you said your not allied with pirates so your at war/hostile with them) when you knew the nation you were attacking (Us brits) was at war with Pirates and Danes on two other fronts.
So either your nation thought it could hit a nation while you thought we were weak effectively opening up a 3rd front for us or your in league with the pirates.
We were not going to attack your ports except ones that might have been handed to us though negotiations which were still happening when RAE attack the british ports before the joint Yucatan attack.
What i don't get from the spanish is as there was still negotiations about the southern cuban ports etc etc going on why you thought it was best to attack britain over the pirates who effectively own 80% of Northern Cuba?
Wouldn't it of been best to take back Northern Cuba than to attack the British who you knew had shit timers for your nation in that region?

if i recall hearing correctly this attack happened/finished roughly in the 06-08 time window right? Might be a bug that was caused by moving maintence forward, but please if so do not move it back whatever you do. I can finally play in my prime time

Sounds like a bug hope it gets fixed, it is clear that you won and our member who was present in that battle as well as G'kar also admits pirates did win the battle and it should have said you were victorious. Hope the devs fix this issue and flip the port so we can retake it and place a timer on it

oceanic guys should play on oceanic server. more intersting, should we start a discussion?
WHAT! There is a oceanic server now, please sir point me in the direction of this server at once as i cannot for the life of me find it? joke aside there is no need for a discussion as for one ping does not matter in this game and for two it would be a waste of money as we do not have 3000 players in our timezone playing so why bother creating a server for it. Now before you say the oceanic server is PVP 2 the same as the US why should we pick a less populated server for a minor 100 ping difference? Besides when i first starting playing this game it was PVP 1, PVP 2 and PVE 1, now for pings it went 330, 350, 320 so now ask yourself this for a new player joining then and seeing less ping on PVP 1 than PVP 2 you would join PVP 1 right?

Not all the spanish captains and clans enjoy the direction it is taking our nation. And not all of us are runners, some we like to fight with honour, even if we're outnumbered and (more recently due to the other factions big ships) outgunned.
I personally want to make this clear to you all... some of us are working to unite the nation. Mainly for obvious reasons, like diplomacy and vital organization of our forces, but it is a question of honour and reputation too. We're trying to repair all of this, seriously.
Don't generalize and believe me, I personally know many polite people and men of honour among our ranks. Not all of us are the "typical spanish" type of guy.
PD: Oh, and I must say that any confrontation is welcomed gentlemen. In the end this game is about... war, isn't it?
Its good to hear that you guys are finally working to unite your nation even if its a bit late, and i am sorry for some of the generalization however what about all of the generalization that the spanish have done to us, we did want peace there's no disagreeing about that between all brits but when you get people like Pepe who just want war it becomes hard as you may realise. Not only that with the generalisation most spanish players we have run into have basically all ran and not stayed and fought. Yesterday i was in a fight with a few pirates who stayed and fought even with being hugely outnumbered, when the spanish are in this position they seem to tend to run.
Let's keep this simple, Spanish and British couldn't get to an agreement because of fuckups in both sides.
Britain has a lot more population and on top of that, it is better spread around the timezones, but Spanish guys are relentless and love a fight (at least my guys
). Conclusion: Let's fight and have fun, wasn't this a war game?

The Brits should focus on giving some real fight to the Pirates. But they always come in and run. I wonder what is actually more humiliating. The underpopulated Spanish losing to the biggest faction or the biggest faction slowly being kicked out from the Carribean by "no nation"?
Oh we would have been but did you know that was what the plan was to be but the spanish even though they knew this and knew we wanted peace with them decided they wanted war with us when we were trying to be peaceful. So i must ask the spanish are you in league with the pirates because you seem to be rather that fighting them you seem to be allies with them?

Why? Our players have all the right in the world to smack talk after Mantua, Mugeres, Siguanea and the first battle of Misteriosa(some aspects, not all), just because an individual decided to take it upon himself to block a port attack off doesn't degrade the fact that we've held it together pretty well despite the fact that we can't attack back in a traditional fashion. We're forced to hit timer-less ports wherever we can find them because every other port is set ridiculously late at night, and we're still managing successes where we can considering this tactical disadvantage.
I personally have no taste for smack talk, but as long as people keep it proper, I feel like it just adds color to the conflict.
wow its so hard for you to get up early in the morning, did you know that your ports are also "Exploiting" the game mechanics as its so late for us aussies to assault and capture? Let me guess you'll say but Aussies don't deserve there own ports that they paid for to be set to there defendable times or the fact that GB has more EU players than Aussies so it shouldn't matter or how about GB shouldn't have timers on there ports because its "To Hard" to get up to assault a port.
You can brag all you want taking Mugeres which was undefended/lightly defended at the time, you can brag about siguanea at the time as we were not expecting resistance, you can brag about taking the undefended port of Misteriosa because we thought you yourself would have called off the attack as you were in talks when it was happening, you can brag about Mantua if you like. But what about the 6 ports you lost today, what about the whole South Coast of Cuba, what about Cocodrillo, Draguilla, Santa Fe, the last attack on Misteriosa?
You Spanish need to learn that you fucked up, you started this war when we wanted peace, it might have been hard to accept the terms but maybe you should have accepted them rather than face the fate your beginning to realise now. You knew their was Aussies in this area yet you still wanted war, you wanted to talk peace but instead your clan attacks and makes us say no to any deal with your nation.
Now you come here and complain once again about timers when they are working as intended, yours are set to times you can defend are they not? So why can't we set ports to times we can defend? Double standards much in my eyes you want shit but you can't handle shit thrown back into your face.
Players demanded our surrender in another topic yet where i sit it should be you looking at surrendering this war rather than trying to talk smack.

oh and blame AUSEZ all you want, but the US never had a problem with us, they enjoyed the fights with us just like we enjoyed ours with them, so its not like our ports are untouchable at all you just need to work harder.
