its a very nice map, any chance you could (not sure if its doable) but add port timers to the map?

Now whoever did this should be banned, weather they are Danes, Brits, Swedes, Dutch, US, French or Pirate. They should also have there main account Named and Shamed and possibly a loss of xp on that account if not a ban. The reason this is a exploit is because they created a brand new account not a nation switch but a brand new account just to purchase a flag to disrupt other peoples game play.
A Solution they could implement for the future could be that you need to be at least Lt.Commander rank to purchase flags (Rank 4). While this solution won't necessarily stop this from happening, it will stop trolls just making a new account and doing it as a midshipmen.
Devs please do something about this player and this problem. The player should at least be punished and i would say that the port either be flipped to british(not really fair for spanish if it was found to be a different nation that was responsible) or set to Anytime for at least 1 day to a max of 3 days, as we missed out on a capture window due to some troll account purchasing the flag,

He should be named shamed and banned. This is disgusting as all hell, Spanish will most likely claim innocence but why would it be any other nation when that port belongs to them.

Oh and to add, i wouldn't be surprised if the jamaican ports are what Savahanna and Montego? If so then these do in fact go back to when they were captured AUSEZ to clean up Jamaica. If i recall i did make a post on here somewhere.

So basically 80% of GB players are Aussies? You have set 6-8 timers in two of your Jamaica ports and throughout both the Pirate and Spanish fronts. And yet at those times there are barely more than 300 people playing, Most of which are probably US players and a handfull of each other nation.
You're all afraid of losing ground, So the easy way is to set those timers from 6 to 8, precisely when neither the pirates, the danes nor the spanish are active. When they're either asleep or going to work.
I had no idea about Jamaica, in fact i don't even go there except to TP and sail to the likes of Hati etc. AUSEZ is on the west with RGL, BRITS are located close by. RGL and BRITS operate the offensive, AUSEZ and BRITS operate the defense as BRITS are mostly US and EU players, RGL is all german and we are mostly all Australian with US and EU players with us as well.
Like i said i have no idea about Jamaica, i know a few small clans operate in those areas but those ports on Jamaica probably go back before Spain and GB were at war when we first took them into GB hands from there starting Neutral option. We don't care about those ports and leave them their defense to those in that area, if they want those timers changed all they have to do is ask.
Were not afraid of losing ground, hell we wouldn't care if we got pushed back all the way to Jamaica we would still fight on, but why should we set timers to times when we cannot defend the ports? If we were to change some ports to EU time are you going to do the same for us aussies? I very much doubt it as you know your EU timers are from 4-8am for most of us, why should we change timers just so you spanish can be happy when you wouldn't do the same for us?

I am ok with the delayed patch timeline, these things happen, but devs do owe us a fairly detailed, consolidated patch note listing as soon as they can. So that players at least know how to allocate their time in the next days
Reason being, they have alluded to some significant systems changes - and right now I don't feel like playing until I understand what is changing (and what activities I currently do that are less productive in the context of the upcoming patch).
Example - crafting system changes and BP drops. There have been some vague explanations that it is changing, but no details. So should I just not be crafting high level ships while I wait for an overdue patch?
This would be less of a problem if patch was on time, but the more it is delayed, the more we need some kind of heads up of what we should be expecting
oh i don't mind if its delayed or not, the thing is i had no idea that it was ETA'ed for this Thursday/Friday if a clan member didn't link page 20/21 for me where Ink stated it. I don't want to read though god knows how many pages of comments just to find one little bit of important information like this. If the ETA is for a set date this week, then the devs really need to create a new post about it or at least update the orginal topic with the same answers they put in the comments as it would help a shit ton of people who like myself don't want to go though 23 pages of comments.

well you see Kayin, our prime time is technically between 08 and 12, yet as this time is maintence we pick the time before or after. In fact if you ask the US guys our ports were originally 06-08 but when they were at our door step we set them to after maintence rather than before. So you see all were doing it putting them back to what we originally had. But oh that seems like a big deal to the spanish that they once again have to complain about timers.
So as its 1:15am here i guess i will see you at 6am as i don't mind getting up early to take ports maybe you should to?

If the ETA is Thursday/Friday can you make a new post with all the details of this upcoming patch as to read through 23 pages of the same questions to find one answer is kind of bad.
Also in the Server Maintenance thread you stated that the Maintenance time was being moved in the big patch is this still ago ahead at all? Please say it is as more aussies will be annoyed if we have to wait even longer for this to be moved out of our prim

If i were you and i really wanted peace i would show signs of goodwill such as putting some of the yucatan peninsula timers on our time so we can both fight there for fun, or not attack us while you want to talk.
Now i said to Zeal i wouldn't post on this any more but screw it one last one.
So you think that we should set our ports to your timers so you can attack them for fun? Not only that you don't think we should attack while our diplo's are talking? Hmm so what happened yesterday while our diplo's of both nations were talking and SPAIN decided to attack during this talk? But oh no Spain is not like that, we were the big bad brits and we shouldn't attack during diplo talks. Yer not going to happen so fuck Spain and fuck the diplo's your nation had its chance at peace but each time diplo's try to organise peace on both sides, SPAIN is the nation that decides to not agree to anything and the talks break down. Our clan and many other british clans have had enough.

I can agree to everything that wang said about pepe as i was in that channel at the time, we knew they turned against us, even though we wanted peace with them and thought they were still friends, in fact we were in there to discuss with the spanish council as that was who we were told to hand the Northern Yucatan over to. Previous dealings with RAE had allowed them to give us tags on there teamspeak, while we were waiting for a member of the spanish council to come on, these were removed from myself, Zeal, G'kar all british diplomats that were on there teamspeak, we were kicked from the channels we were in back to the lobby.
Wang came on after i poked and was dragged down into a channel full of spanish RAE members. We asked to move channels to talk privately and in fact were only talking to them at the time about the TS tags. At pepe's command this changed to saying how we somehow broke the deal we had by taking the ports of Congrios, Truxillo and those other 3 in the bensalem area. Now this isn't true at all as when the US took Cuyo out clan made the call to take the port of Congrios in order so that the US could not come down and be a thorn in our side. I went over to RAE and told them this, one of there officers replied (sorry don't know his name of hand) "That's fine, feel free to take everything North of Gracious A Dios even the Gulf of Mexico and South Cuba if you want, there is NO other clans in that area as they all rerolled pirate".
I asked about 4 times to confirm this and he said the same thing each time. Mind you this was when RAE was still in Panama and the council was only just only starting to be made (Getting other clans option of forming a council). So when RAE claimed we broke it because we took these ports is wrong, they also wanted to set up in Truxillo which we were planning on leaving spanish for a safe decent PVE farming spot, when we found out about this yes we did take it. The next day/night they attacked our ports in South Cuba.
And now we get back though all the fucking bullshit that's recently happened to were we are now.
So i ask again, if we so wished to be enemies by breaking alliances why didn't we attack your fleet which we outnumbered at least 2 -1 outside sisal? Instead we provided early screening for your fleet as well as performing a line of entry as a bit of fun. Yes we wanted South Cuba, but this was because we were told all spanish clans but one (RAE) was apart of the spanish council, we were told they all agreed to our deal in which we were to take south cuba, we were told that this was for exchange of helping you guys knock the US out of Yucatan(which we did) and for flipping those ports back to spain. We were told all this by a SPANISH DIPLOMAT.
So when we were attacked by other clans that were not RAE, you could think we were surprised and angry that again SPAIN BACKSTABBED US.

So for those spanish players still doubting us, how about when you guys took sisal? Do you think that we could not have stopped you if we wanted you guys as enemies? Does the following pic not show how we went out of our way to try and be peaceful? Does it not show that we had good will towards your nation before you decided to fuck us over and claim that we never once tried helping you? If you can answer me these questions truthfully about why you thought we were there helping you then by all means reply with proof in which the british nations did not help you out at all when these ports belonged to the states, and why we were going to hand the rest of them over to you once and for all for a small exchange in order to create a peaceful border.

Woo after all that back to the convo, Danes you might have taken ports this weekend but as you can tell a few of us had other issues on a different front, next weekend/this week we will be ready. BRITAIN WILL NEVER MAKE PEACE WITH THE DANES, not until they give us 60000 cookies, all there 3rd rates and above, 30000 L of Ice cold Vodka and a few topless russian women

Why oh why do you attack the Spanish again, talk about beating up on the small chap. (Tampico)
Oh hello, i see your Spanish Council Diplo didn't update you on the situation or you were not apart of it. So i will inform you of the agreement YOUR NATION (taking you as spanish) agreed to break.
The agreement that was agreed to while a Neutral 3rd party nation was in the channel and they can confirm this if they like was the following.
- Spain had 1 rouge spanish clan operating from South Cuba attacking Brits, so we were to take south cuba and draw the line at Corrientes to Conttoy.
- Fleet PVP was allowed but no port attacks
- Britain would hand over North Yucatan at the end of the week, this was then moved forward to this weekend (5th of March)
Spain broke this by first hitting Corrientes early hours on the 5th for AU guys late night 4th for EU guys, when contacted we were told this was a mistake and we should not worry about it.
When we went to attack Siguana we were met with resistance with 4 spanish clans, again when we contacted the spanish about this, there main diplo from the spanish council claimed he could no longer get the spanish clans to agree on all of this.
Britain went ahead a voided this agreement with the Spanish, and showed them by breaking there agreement like they did has consequences.
Past agreements were always broken by the spanish such as when the RAE attacked Trinidad (they claim that it was in response to Trux being taken when they told us a week before that we could take that).

True but worth surrendering over after losing such little of our nation, not a chance, and besides before the danes manage to take it all they would be that overstretched that other nations will take advantage off, they would become what we have and be seen as the #1 target on the server closely by the pirates

Agreed only thing i see that might be a problem is the current infrastructure and that fact (doesn't bother me as i play EU 1 as a aussie) but players will say that they won't play anymore as they don't get there usual x ping to the server now because its been merged and is now located in EU or the opposite now located in the US.
Before someone says this kind of shit though just remember us aussies on EU 1 play with 300+ ping or 250+ ping to both servers and it does NOT AFFECT SHIT even in PVP

Dear All
It has become apparent that the British empire has overreached itself. In doing so, it has attracted the distaste of the surrounding powers, who in their desire to limit the power of one nation to reach an excessive extent, have decisively beaten British forces in the field.
Therefore, as a non clan affiliated servant of her majesty the king, and in respect to the rules of warfare and that of decisive battle, I am endeavoured to create a draft of a potential peace treaty to create peace and prosperity among the fellow powers. In doing so, this treaty should firstly develop a fair and honest balance of power, guarantee the independence of the lesser powers, and recognise the sovereignty of the greater powers within the Caribbean.
Greater populated powers: USA, Britain, The Nation of Pirates, The Danes
Lesser populated Powers: The United Provinces, France, and Sweden
Please see below for the draft.
The treaty of Saint Nicholas, aimed at ending the extended conflicts between his majesty the king, the Nation of pirates and her allies, while creating a atmosphere of neutral benevolence and free trade, and maintain the balance of power on favourable terms, will concede to the following terms:
1) Great Britain will recognise the sovereignty and rightful claims of the Nation of pirates within the Bahamas, and concedes the borders of the ports of saint Nicholas and Baracoa as the natural frontiers between Britain and the pirate Nation. Port Nicholas and Barracoa will be conceded to the pirates to consolidate the natural frontiers. Britain will recognise the pirate claims to northern Haiti.
2)The Nation of pirates will recognise Britain's Sovereignty and rightful claims of the territories south of these natural borders (Baracoa and saint Nicholas), as well as her claims to the territories surround IL La vache, southern Cuba and Western Haiti, and Jamaica.
3) Britain will concede to the Nation of Danes the eastern provinces of Haiti, with the natural frontier between Britain and the Danish being the port of barrahona, which will be conceded, along with the rest of the eastern Haitian ports, into Danish hands.
4) The Danes will recognise British claims to Haiti west of barrahona, south-eastern Cuba and Jamaica, as well as the pirate claims to the Bahamas.
5) All of the above nations will recognise the independence of the lesser populated powers, their independent ability to pass laws, wage war and engage in foreign diplomacy without the interference of other powers. The greater populated powers will recognise the independent policies of the lesser populated powers, and will not seek to dominate or interfere with their foreign policies.
6)If any greater populated power challenges, threaten or prevents the independent policies of the lesser populated powers, the greater powers are obligated to assist in maintaining the independence of the said lesser powers
7) if any of the greater populated powers, Namely the USA, British, Danes or nation of pirates, breaks, crosses of interferes with the above proscribed natural frontiers, or overexceeds the balance of powers, all powers are obligated in assisting the defender against the aggressor in the maintenance of the natural frontiers through force of arms, with the aim of maintaining the balance of power.
8)all above powers agree to end pvp within national missions, and will promise to ignore or refuse to assist attacks or defences of ports or players that interfere with the natural frontiers, or the sovereignty of the lesser powers.
9)All nations will be allowed to engage in open pvp, commerce raiding and harassment of any and all nations, so far as it does not include joining player missions, or threatens the independence of the lesser powers.
10)The lesser populated powers, those being the Dutch, Swedish, French or Spanish should be permitted to at least maintain three ports aside from their national port. all nations subject to this treaty must assist against any opponent that threatens to reduce a lesser power's port size to below the proscribed number.
11)The attacking of other national fleets are permitted for the purposes of exp gain and financial measures
12)In remedying the continued distaste, dissatisfaction and disaffection of the greater and lesser powers in concerns to the current balance of power, as well as access to trade opportunities abroad, the greater powers will attempt to facilitate port access in foreign lands to the lesser powers through the process of "port hopping", so far as it does not interfere with the natural frontiers or the balance of power.
13) in regards of the continuance of wars between nations, the greater and lesser populated powers and all within the Caribbean, wars of foreign policy may continue so far as that they do not interfere with the natural frontiers, lead to the dominance of the lesser powers or upset the balance of power within the Caribbean, that leads to one nation being far too dominant.
This concludes the rough draft of the treaty of saint Nicholas. Although public players may choose to refuse, ignore or override said rules and articles, the clans will attempt to in the very least maintain the articles of the said treaty, which is in itself the essence of equality, honesty and integrity of the co-signing parties.

As i know for certain none of the clans in the British council did, second Why would we talk to the pirates about peace, No one should be allied with pirates as there god dam pirates, Thirdly as it stands its Russians vs none russians, and we none russians welcome there attacks as it gives us xp and fun after all this is a PVP server and hell if we lose all our land (not going to happen) but if we did then fuck it we'll keep on fighting. After all BRITONS NEVER NEVER WILL BE SLAVES!!!!

With their Vassals Sweden and French and their allied Dutch friends ,Danmark has become equal or more powerful than the Britains. Will they continue to spread their seed of destruction to the west now?
This becomes more and more interesting. Will the Britains who declared them as enemies surrender and make a non aggression pact with them?
Lets see how this will end but for now , whats your opinion?

Abuse of flag mechanics 2 - decision needed

I believe we should have for a short time until a perm soloution comes about a rank implementation on buying flags. Weather this is Lt. Commander + or something else it needs to be there to at least delay shit like this happening.
These two accounts should be banned temp or perm doesn't matter, on top of that if this second account is only new and also midshipman it is still strange to see that he managed to have enough gold to purchase a 150k flag after 5 days. Not only that but why did he not buy it with this account if he made it legit? Why go though all the trouble of a alt account to troll if the gold was legit made after playing for 5 days.
There must be at least 1 other person behind all of this, this person either owns one or both of these alt accounts. I wouldn't be surprised to find that both alts had different Ip's though and belonged to two players not one.
So Admins please follow the gold trail or ip trail and whatever punishment you decide after this first time i will be happy with.
