Just to fill up the British Hunting more as we need more nations! Arr!
British - Full name is Pam, reason for it being on a clan member head is for several reasons, just for fun, he made me get blown up after he rammed a ship next to me while on fire (no joke), we need more british captains on the list other than charles and well it shouldn't be hard to find him when he streams (just look on twitch, he won't be hard to find).
I know its kind of shitty to do it but well like i said its mostly for fun so why not.

I personally don't see why you have to cater for another nations clans prime time, You take the ports from a enemy in there prime time, off Neutral's which they could have beat you to or off the nation due to no timers on that port. If you are to defend then it would be best for you to set the timer for the time you can defend rather than a time you can't. No other nation is complaining about timers, and believe me when i say the US could complain about our current ones if they wished as they are in the same situation when it comes to the US vs Brit war, but there not as its part of the game.
In this case, pirates are setting the timers for when that bunch of particular pirates can defend the ports, i honestly do not see the problem for this. In someways considering Pirates, US and Brits are the 3 popular nations currently, i would say we should lock these nations from new players joining to in a way force players to join the underpopulated nations and hopefully allow for more clans to pop up to defend/attack timers that have been set by others.
Another option is to in a way change the whole port battle system in which all attacks/battles between the nations within a certain radius of the port are counted over a 24 hour period counts. (includes AI fleets that could be programmed to spawn for both sides). However with this keep it so its 24 hours from a set time (player selected or default server set time for all ports, if later then the flag can be brought and placed any time before this time, if former then still within a window.)

As a British Captain i am appalled to hear the US thinking we would align and coordinate with the scum know as Pirates, it is just a coincidence that our counter attack to reclaim the Town of Tantun happened to be on the same day and year that the scum attacked the states eastern provinces.

Yeah I concur, both sides have done it, and it erases the tactics based on the guns / armor. I was 80% crewed in the conny for this fight, and I feel like that is an acceptable number for the system. That way you dont have people with 150 crew sailing a 3rd rate that needs 650 haha.
Cuyo was fun as it was intended to be an ambush on behalf of the USA, hopefully it felt that way.
Just got done in Cazumil and it was a great fight also. I enjoy the good sports that the Brits field, there's always a friendly laughing conversation about the battle after the fight.

Post Captain gives 77%
Flag Captain is 100% but so is 3rd Rate which most people would take presently (for a line fight)
Yeah, I know, the Constitution, or the rank / crew system needs to be reworked as it does not fit any rank / crew capacity at the moment, that a larger ship (3rd rate) doesn't already fill.
Captain in the USA gives you 78% crew, and the next rank gives you enough for the 3rd rate. I still feel, that that 80% crew marker is the marker to have. The new crew system for the next content patch kind of sounds like it will address the issue by in large, though it remains to be seen until that patch actually hits.
As it is now you go from ~350 crew to ~650 crew, completely skipping the conny with your ranks.

was told to take a clan mates conny in to that battle, died however during the last 3 minutes but i started with 50% crew . Took like 5 minutes to fire, you might have noticed me i was the solo one on the left at the start. -
Well thats actually coming, with the next major patch in approx 2 weeks, you won't be able to do that.

TBH as a Brit captain its is crazy why the Spanish left there home waters, oh well in other news (Roleplay hat on) the US British war is finally starting to begin, we might have failed that attack yesterday and we may not attack your ports again right away, but be aware and be afraid as you will see British Warships in your waters, We are coming to reclaim our lost colonies for the King. So be afraid you rebel scum. (Roleplay hat off). Seriously good fights last night guys, but mark my words WE WILL BE BACK

haha yer that was sort of on purpose about the flag, it was sort of a late notice attack but it won't be the last. It was a good game even though we lost. Best part has got to the them explosions, especially wolfs near the end that killed 2 of yours. Btw did you guys "court martial" that american deserter?

This talk is all good and dandy but as a British captain may i ask how the US will decide to travel though hostile waters to reach there friendly waters of there Dutch allies. If they go one way they have to go though Pirates, our Northern British Fleets, possibly Danish fleets (unless there friends as well), then Swedish Fleets (if they are hostile) and then finally in to french waters.
If they go West and south, they have to go past Multiple British Fleets, The Spanish Fleet and then into there Dutch friends waters in which the French may be also waiting for them.
So if this rumor as it seems like a rumor is true, they will have to either do it via stealth or have a long road of fighting to do before they even hit the french area.
I also do not see this to be a reasonable idea but that is my option on the matter as a british captain.

tbh it was offered to spanish clans from multiple different british clans, however it was never accepted by the spanish, that is not our fault that your clans did not agree to us taking and then letting you take it back. There is more that i cannot say here as it is public however if you are in RAE you will hear it from your leadership shortly at what we are going to be doing. Myself and another British Diplo are waiting in your ts if you are RAE leadership or diplo.

English Letter to All Spanish Admiralty from one British Captain:
What the Fuck happened? You are letting your ports fall to the Rebel Scum that should be wiped out.
Cuba your home is being threatened and yet you sail south though our waters to fight a enemy that is 1000 miles from your home while letting a enemy that 100 miles from your homeland invade and country take your home.
As a British Captain that want to see all nations prosper even in war, i am wondering what the hell is going on within the spanish government.

In regards to the Current Spanish vs British Conflict, those clans that are allied currently with the spanish hate what certain british clans are doing to them and are trying to keep friendly relations as best as possible.

Hey Charles, we want to start getting some organisation going within the British nation in terms of finding out where each clan (mostly the major ones that you yourself have listed here in this topic) are located in the map. we really want to get the ball moving and as you and SLRN are the most known british clan leader/clan currently we would like your help a bit. This is totally not a Bump in Disguise
Remember that you don't have to be a Aussie to join us, we have quite a few Europeans and Americans that are now apart of our fleet, if you are currently on PVP 2, don't hesitate to switch over as you will still keep your XP and our ship builders will be happy to help you out with a ship, as well as members will happily help or even capture a ship for you while you get back on your fleet. A lot of the guys would also help out with setting your first outpost up where our HQ is currently based.
So what are you waiting for, hit up our recruiters on teamspeak and come join our bloody awesome fleet as things are starting to get interesting on PVP 1.

Wow, so many tears shed in a fun little thread...Took Britan for ever to claim her main island due to the organized clans leaving Jamaica early...
That long sail back home was worth it though just to make sure that Jamaica is secured
that for sure it was, BTW here is the highlight from the stream of Pam's, its not much and please excuse the general Australian Chatter about random things, and any unofficial talk about other clans or nations if they come up, a lot of the guys were tired or drunk due to these port battles taking place at approx 10pm-1am for most Australians. If you feel offended by any of this talk please speak to Wang (if clan related) or pm me here (if personal) and i will remove the link.
May be offensive and it is for Mature Audiences.

Ping does not affect this game so can you please stop saying that the biggest issue is ping when it is not. Hell our clan is Australian Based and we play on PVP EU 1 due to it being 1 most popular and 2 more enjoyable than PVP 1 US. All they need to do is increase the server population. And i'm not sure what you mean about "prime time for each area" but hell its not like port windows are set times across the entire map as it goes off who takes the port and sets the window.
