  1. I will not debate with you how was the Spanish mercantilism. Anyway I do not agree with you. I'm just talking about trade in this game , and how to improve . Trader ship did small business across all Caribbean ports. Most of then were contraband with resources. The wrong is doing something ridiculous and not historical at all; as exchange 10 cities owner every day without the possibility of trading or making money. Please follow the link and give your propossals . You should do a best suggestion to help a better game, as well. Discuss here is not the way. I´m not talking about mercantilism. Thanks.
  2. Individual and faction’s wealth could improve with trading changes. This improvements must be historical view as well. Attacks ports every day must be reduced, this is not historical. The Caribbean was a business for all countries and nobody wanted destroy cities of their neighbor everyday because them needed each other to do business together. Game must be historical accurate as well. City map can not change ten cities owner everyday.(as it´s happened right now).
  3. Yes, on heaven and earth, that would respect history.....REMEMBER the ships no move there to conquer lands or cities. Only control seas and ports. In History of the Caribbean Sea Spanish cities and forts always defeat the others ships because Spanish ports were almost unconquerable. Spanish have more land armies. (Review the history of 18 Century for the conquest) This is the big historical mistake in this game, cities shouldn´t be taken so easily. Trade would be the most important for business. War ships must not enter in port. Trader ships always have rights to enter, but no rights to contraband with resources. Please review origin of Jenkin’s ear War. Pensacola 1781,and Cartagena de Indias battle 1741. There are several things that could be done to improve the economic game. 1) Get rid of deliveries and teleportation (except perhaps to to the capital, with a long cool down, for those who get lost). 2) Use a single price for all resources, commodities, upgrades, etc. established by supply and demand. 3) Introduce some larger trading ships and/or allow players to escort their own merchantmen. Right now players can hire warships but they cannot hire traders. 4) Make capturing a port more difficult or unable. Switching so many ports back and forth is both unhistorical and bad for business. 5) Restrict or eliminate the purchase of ships above 7th rate, except for player-crafted ships. This will create demand (and profits) for merchants and crafters. A lot of attention has been given to PvP players. However Historical issues are forgotten...There is nothing wrong with that, so long as other play styles are not ignored. That could affect the Naval Action sales. Why ? Because you can not forget or invent the history for Latin-people, these market to sell the game is for example : Mexico 150 million people Brasil 202 million, Colombia 47 Argentina 41 Perú 30, Venezuela 30, Chile 16, Ecuador 15, Spain and Portugal 60 million people. USA spanish speakers 50 million people. Improvement of missions (1) escort missions, (2) Attack "Spanish Gold Fleet," or (3) Mission search of the "Treasure Island", or (4) "to hunt or kill a pirate "in search and capture". 8. Graphical improvements in battle; see city buildings and towers in the port attacks. 9. Incorporation of sea animals, dolphins, whales can capture mission. 10. Improving Respect to the history: certain cities must be imconquerable because they had armies ground forces. (See story Cartagena de Indias 1741) 11. Historical Improvement: is not historical nor good for the game continuously attacking enemy cities, that should significantly reduce (the attack cities). The map should not change every day because it prevents trade and movement of ships. 12. Improving vessels expand to more Spanish ship models and larger cargo ships, including galleons. 13. Create Admiralty panel screen. To see war, officers, crews, promotions, ranks, salaries and types of boats assigned to each sailor. 14. Improved double cannon bullet, keep more destructive power. 15. Improved display impact of grappe ammunition.Do visible. 16. Reduction in the number of bigger ships Rate 1st, 2nd and third class rate. The previous point does not prevent an individual player can amass power and ships but can Not conquer territories or cities. Many cities conquests is a mistake from the historical point of view. But should be possible to get rich players, or millonaires pirates. 28. Create spies services, or sabotage. 29. Enter calendar date, start year to do the narration of the history of the game and able comeback when it´s finished. 1720-1815¿? 30. The battle ships can not turn itself without sails. Damage masts not only in the base. More fire and smoke in battles. 31. All ports must be open for trade, for any country that wants to enter (even the pirate ports). 32. Improve to be able in open world to join the IA fleet of your country, to travel or fight with them. 33. Boarding extremely broken and inconsistent, should be easier and prefer to see the men on decks. 34. Gun ports ussually closed, it would be awesome open it at battles. 35. Some Music in punctual action of the game would be great. Dream...Some of these would be enough.
  5. Ideas para trasmitir a los desarrolladores del juego RESUMEN: 1. Mejorar el comercio, mercantes más amplios, menos batallas de puerto. Más barcos comerciales y de mayor tonelaje. 2. Mejorar comercio, rutas convoy a Europa, más posibilidades de compra y venta de productos. 3. Canoas indígenas o poblados en puntos aleatorios de la costa para comerciar y reparar navío fuera de puertos. 4. Lista, o mercado de valores para ver q productos suben y bajan y donde comerciar con ellos. 5. Mejoras graficas en barcos, más tripulación en cubierta y simulación de abordaje más realista. (Al menos capitán al timón) 6. Mejora del comercio, mas industrias y productos, ver el crecimiento de la riqueza de las ciudades. 7. Mejora de las misiones, (1) misiones de escolta, (2)Ataque a "Flota del Oro Español" , o (3)Misión de busca de la "Isla del Tesoro" ,o (4) "dar caza a un pirata" en busca y captura. 8. Mejoras graficas, en batalla; ver los edificios de las ciudades y torres en los ataques a puerto. 9. Incorporación de animales marinos, delfines, ballenas, posible misión de captura. 10. Mejora respecto a la historia, ciertas ciudades deben ser prácticamente inconquistables pues tenían ejércitos de tierra. (Ver historia Cartagena de Indias 1741) 11. Mejora histórica, no es histórico ni bueno para el juego atacar ciudades enemigas continuamente, se debe reducir notablemente el ataque a ciudades. El mapa no debe cambiar cada día pues impide el comercio y movimiento de barcos. 12. Mejora de barcos, ampliar a mas modelos de barcos españoles y barcos mercantes más grandes, incluidos galeones. 13. Mejora de la interfaz de la Comandancia de guerra, oficiales, tripulaciones, ascensos, rangos, salarios y tipos de barcos asignados a cada cargo. 14. Mejora de bala doble, mantener con mayor poder destructivo. 15. Mejora visualizar impacto de la munición de metralla o grapa. Apenas se ve. 16. Disminución del número de navíos grandes de 1st Rate, 2nd Rate y Tercera clase. Históricamente no navegaban tantos a la vez. 17. Promover y facilitar las batallas en mar y la captura de mercantes. 18. La economía de un país se verá afectada si sus rutas comerciales y mercantes son atacados. 20. Panel de DIPLOMACIA para ver las guerras declaradas, los tratados y las relaciones de amistad o neutralidad de los países. Aliados, etc. 21. Crafteo, Astillero y construcción de navíos y cañones, deberían mejorarse los diseños gráficos para hacer esta parte del juego más atractiva. 22. Permitir la personalización o tuneado de tu barco, cambio de bandera, algún tono de color y de nombre del navío. 23. Posibilidad de formar un convoy de comercio o flota de trasporte de mercancías. 24. Facilitar el control de ascensos y toma de decisiones y sanciones a los jefes de cada clan. 25. Limitar las opciones de la facción pirata, pues históricamente no querían mas poder que el robar botines y refugiarse en islas. 26. El juego debería ser más histórico y US y Dinamarca o Suecia no pueden tener tanto poder. En todo el tiempo del juego las naciones más poderosas deben ser históricamente España, UK, Francia y Holanda. 27. El punto anterior no impide que un jugador individual pueda amasar poder y barcos pero NO puede conquistar territorios o ciudades, estas conquistas de ciudades son un error desde el punto de vista histórico. Jugadores ricos SI. 28. Introducir espionaje 29. Introducir Fecha CALENDARIO, día y año para poder hacer la narración de la historia del juego y vuelta a empezar. 1720-1815¿? 30. En batalla que los barcos sin palos no puedan girar. Destrozo de los mástiles no solo por la base. Más fuego y humo. 31. Todos los puertos deben estar abiertos al comercio para cualquier país que quiera entrar (incluso a los puertos piratas). 32. Poder pedir ayuda de unirse a las IA flotas de tu país, para viajar o combatir. 33. Algo de musica en determinados momentos del juego. 33. etc.... (Añadir comentar o mejorar estas propuestas) (PONER números las diez ideas más importantes para dar una prioridad)
  6. Hola Ulises, pues a mi me pasa igual, tambien he costruido barcos y jugado a varios games de estrategia. Este juego puede ser mi sueño. Pero veo cosas que no me convencen. Una de ellas es que la historia se la han olvidado. Ya se que el juego tienen que venderlo en USA, pero están de alguna forma ignorando todo el mercado latino. Sinceramente que entres a un mapa del siglo 18 y veas que toda la costa de Mexico o de Venezuela esta invadida por paises como Dinamarca que nunca estuvieron por alli pues es muy decepcionante.   7. Very nice Galleon !!! When do they made ? 1725 ¿?.....Perfect for the game... If the game wants to be historical background Naval Action will need some of this ships sailling in the Caribbean. There are many modern ships in Naval Action. Most of then built after 1750. Isn´t the game running from 1690 to 1800 ? Golden Age of sailing ..... Well done. !! Gracias.
