  3. Gracias, unas explicaciones muy tecnicas y convincentes. Solo falta añadir el resto de palabras que no están traducidas. ¿alguien tiene una lista global ?.... Por ejemplo ahora en modo pesca iremos a la caza del Jurel.... ¿sabías esto ? esta palabra ya esta en el juego...en perfecto inglés claro. Pues eso, cuando tengamos la lista entera seguimos traduciendo.... GRACIAS

  5. For me it is very easy. Some historical facts should be included in game. In Europe Naval Action, an Caribbean sea as well. In this way, each nation should be ready in time to play those battles. As the final, the peace treaty refund the territories to the origin owner, as you say. Perfect. This system should be tested because you need a historical calendary to be followed. Would be like a big Campaign in others games. ( Napoleon Total War)
  6. Efectivamente eso puede ser un problema, lo veremos cuando saquen la interfaz definitiva. Pero para eso es bueno este hilo...para cuando llegue el dia de la traducción informar a los Desarrolladores de la palabra más adecuada, o,su reducción más comprensible. Por ejemplo la palabra "Cureña" es suficiente y compremsible. Y "Pagaré" lo veo más lógico, en aquellos tiempos, que Billete. Y "Compás Wood" puede ser "cuadernas" (sin más, aunque fueran piezas especiales, hacían esa funcion de escuadra, cuaderna y soporte). Como hay mucha gente marinera por aquí seguro que irán opinando. Muchas gracias.
  7. Gracias Celtibero y Siegfried.... Cambiaré esta hoja para que este corregido. Efectivamente cureña es mas correcto. Bigotas tambien me parece mas adecuado y Compass Wood es exactamente lo que dice Siegfried que ya lo suponia.   8. Hola, adjunto una tabla y animo a los demás jugadores a traducir todas las palabras tecnicas del juego para ir dejandolas aqui en este hilo. Dudas sobre palabras y su traducion al español en su lenguaje marino. COMPASS WOOD ??..... alguien esta seguro de su traduccion exacta...¿ ? porque podría referirse a las cuadernas maestras, o bien a la brujula. Yo creo es más la primera ( por su valor economico) Aqui abajo teneis traducidas las más usadas en costruccion de barcos. Opinar. Gracias.
  9. Historical value could be the best thing to improve this game. Mission or Campaigns that make you to learnt about Europe History. Like famous battles, famous Generals, Kings and Queens, famous campaings, historical facts, or others similar we already have seen in Total War Napoleon, Rome II, or Empire. We can learnt a lot about the Europe history because ussually we knew few things only about own history, and not about others countries history. Therefore Europe map for NA would be a great improve for this game.
  10. Why an Europe unconquerable ?..... You allways will have undefended cities , or garrisons, or small cities to conquer ( see the history, for example: Mahon, Sicily, Gribaltar, Malta, Tenerife, and many others..... ) I agree with you, it doesn`t make correct to do as we have now in NA Caribbe. But remember how Napoleon did to control the seas, and remember how England assault many cities from theirs ships. I think would be more interesting than the Caribbean.... Big battles like TRAFALGAR were in Atlantic, Baltic, and Mediterraneum seas. Thanks for your opinion.
  11. In real life the Pirates didn´t go to Naval Academy...they ussually didn´t know how to write or read. They don´t want to be great sailors or admirals....they want only drink and fuck women. In my opinion this is the reason why they don´t know how to rule big ship. Pirates in Naval Action they shouldn´t be allow to drive any big ship. Only Frigates. No Santisima, No Victory, No St.Pavel...etc Or you can built for them Naval College.

  14. Please,.... it seems to me La Habana city should be improve. They need more houses, churches, towers, his famous garrison and the bay. It was a big capital, the biggest one in Caribbean. The city was located inner in a Bay. Please have a look the pics. I hope you can improve as you already did with Port Royal in Jamaica. Thank you. Marques.
  15. ...buff !!... I see many people doesn´t want Spain has a historic role in the game. Perfect. Is not my view. Instead, I wish Devs understand that a game like this should have a minimum of historical background. (More Spanish ships, and more balanced city map). Anyway my second proposal for Diplomacy is: 1-Viceroy. minimum requirement for the position must be Flag Captain. 2-Governor. Brigadier minimun. Admiral. 3-Lord Protector. minimun Master and Commander. This will be a election system with: 1.You have a minimun Viceroy With 20 ports. 2.You have a Governor with a minimum of 8 cities 3. You have a Lord protector with a minimum of 2 cities. These positions are elected on the panel vote, Diplomacy, where each player can see the results of the their candidates. The State of War or Peace, and commercial or military alliance, is decided for Virrey and Governors who have the agreement in number of votes of each Faction. Sum of all votes of each Clan. In each city every player can be voted, at any time in a panel of diplomacy that should include all options and countries. Each player has one vote, the system is Democratic within each Clan. Each vote is visible to everyone in the clan. You can vote as a shipman, but you need experience and support to rule cities or factions. Viceroy, (if there is any) and the Governors will have a greater number of votes for his position. More power as this way: 5% plus votes per Viceroy and 3% plus votes to each governor. With all players votes, Viceroy and Governors can declare war, by a simple majority. Half plus one.The State of War or Peace, involves the whole clan, and IA ships. This is my humble opnion to avoid the chaos among the clans and factions. Thanks.

  17. It seems to me you has forgotten the Spanish issue. My proposal will be to solve this problem with 4 Spanish Capitals, all of them must be cities not conquerable. La Habana, San Juan, Cartagena de Indias, Veracruz. This change will solve the problem in the historical view. As well very important if you want to balance the most important faction in the Caribbean Sea. We are the low player population in the game, but the most important in the history of Caribbean. Please DEV´s do something a little bit more historic. This won´t a big damage for the others factions. And please,.... Pirates can not have a capital, or any others priviledges, Pirate Faction have to be the worst place to play. As it was in those times. Thank you.
  18. Are you talking about history ? Because the capturing of ports in the caribbean is not historical at all. Moreover it´s ridiculous the way we conquest many cities in the same day. This is a big mistake in game. Therefore I agree with you conquest of ports doesn´t work in Europe neither. About Polland, please sorry again, I already read your opinion, so I´m not a creator , let say your size for Polland to the Dev´s when they decided to do something. Others silly things like Australia, no comment. Thanks.

  20. Are you reading well ??... It´s written on the Map Prussian -POLAND, grey color. Ok, yes you have some right. Sorry Mate, I did the map in short quickly. I already know Poland was a big Empire...I had an error. My mistake was to join it, Prussian and Poland...It seems to me they should be separated and much bigger. Poland is obviuslly the grey color in my proposal of the Europe map. Anyway, don´t joke me. You can not do a map from 1600 to 1830... it is imposible. I tried to close the dates around 1748 because all the ship in the game are very close to 1750. So maybe it would be posible to do a map with 4 or 5 wipes every 4 months. A few, or some of historical changes. In this way would be posible to do a history with a cronological forward to 1690 untill 1820, more or less. Sorry again...The map is only for wonder.
