This is scavanging and since there is no in game mechanism to prevent this (admiralty punishment, malus etc.), I call it abuse. Had a guy jump in on me trying to capture a trader Lynx but I managed to kill all the crew and force the surrender just before he could get the boarding started... That was sweet!!! The bug is slated for a fix soon. This is not currently against the rules, so I'm locking this thread.
