Justme
With its release this year, will it have an effect on this game? Also once released will it have an impact on current PC computers and computer parts prices?
Ned Loe
Direct X 12 update won't require you to buy a new graphics card. Both Nividia and Microsoft today confirmed that most modern PC gaming hardware will work well with DirectX 12. Devs might add new features if game engine will be able to handle it. Dx12 release should make no effect on the game.

Chromey
just did free upgrade to windows 10 and got dx12 and the game runs super smooth. B4 was on medium settings with 40 fps now in very hi settings with 60.

The increase in performance comes from somewhere else.

Admiral_Of_The_Fleet
It would be your graphics card driver not direct x, I have 64 gig ram / solid state drive / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti / and run at max settings at 61 FPS, AND yet I still get the same peformance as like the majority of players on here with less than a setup like mine...
