Fog of war mod?

Hey guys, 

Do you think it's possible to make a fog of war mod? 

Right know you as a player have perfect information on enemy ships. From fuel to crew complement down to the exact number of shells. It makes the game too easy, at least for me. 

Would it be possible to create a mod that removes this information for the player? This could make the game more challenging. 

Not a modder myself so no idea if this is possible.

I mentioned the same thing already a few times in the past. And not only that, disabling "guns ranges" in battle does not do anything. Now, looking at the game files, we modders can't do anything related to the info available in the UI. However, I need to mention that there is an "intel budget" modifier in the game files. So there is still hope to see a new mechanic implemented in the 1.4 update that will address this issue.
