rahzor
Not sure if the mechanic in not getting out of the coast / bay even with pretty fine wind is wanted or intended, but that needs some rework. It cannot be to not be able to maneuver out?
0 jodgi
Could you explain in more detail? Is there a specific port you're stuck at?
0 rahzor
It is an 'instance' "mechanic". I am totally ok with a ship being pushed into the coast by full wind to his side. But with decend wind you should be able to unstuck yourself. There is a screenshot uploaded with bugreport.

0 Hethwill
So you got blown into the beach, hit the shallows, ship got stuck. Correct ? This is normal behaviour ( for me ) as it is not intended for a ship to navigate towards the shore and actually avoid it like the plague, especially when wind is onshore.
