2 simple changes to make the PvP Event better

1. Big groups need a penalty if they gank small groups or solo players

Its still way too effective to just roam around in a big blob and attack everything in range. Its not fun for big groups because they dont get a challenge and its deterrent for small groups or solo players.

If the Battlerating is 2x of the enemy then you get only half points for example. Just scale it linear. Easy and effective.

2. Change the kill calculation

Currently if you want to get kills, you just shoot as much armor as you can. Shooting sails and killing crew doesnt count at all. It feels unrewarding and it doesnt correspond to the actual impact those players had.

Make it so that armor contributes to 60% of the kill, Crew 30% and sails 10%

1. Agreed, though i think 1.5x BR should still give 100% points. Then 1,6 to 2.0 gives 50%, 2.1 to 2.0 gives a 25%.

I've enjoyed being slayed by 9 players today during testing. It was a big pack of players rolling through the zone sinking small groups of 2-3 players. For solo players pvp event will end up as a gank trap and they most likely won't get any reward for it. In other words events are broken badly and need tuning and balancing. Biggest group or largest population wins as always. However, I do enjoy the great progress developers have made so far.
